GORONTALO’S ARTS AND CULTURAL POTENTIALS AND LOG WASTE AS MEANS OF WORK OF ARTS IN SUPPORTING CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
This article is based on research result that was financed by DP2M DIKTI on 2009 budgeting year with contract number 123/H47.C1/PL/2009.the research aimed to desain a craft souvenir by utilizing the potential of culture and art of Gorontalo as source of idea and the potential of wood waste as the material.the method was experiment method.the procedure of the research was done through.1)exploration,to find the idea or concept in creating the craft souvenir that came from culture and art of Gorontalo also considering the characteristic of wood waste.while the visual product was 43 alternative sketches, the 20 sketches as the best designing, and 20 work picture as the representation of 18 ideas or concept.that design included the original and had a cleary source, this it has a potential to get copyright (HKI)and competitiveness.that product is useful in supporting the development of creative industry, especially in providing the craft design that innovative, unique and prospective.

A Guidebook on How to Be Students in an American University for Students of Alfalink Overseas Study and English Course
In the internship program, I worked at West Alfalink which is located at Ruko Rich Palace kav. I-1 Jl. MayjenSungkono 149-151. Alfalink is an overseas education consultant / agent and English language center. In this company, I found three problems. One of them is no guidebook for students who choose the USA to do their overseas study. By looking at this condition, I decided to make the USA guidebook for Alfalink's students. It can be an effective tool for the company to give detailed information for the students. By providing this guidebook, Alfalink and students can get a lot of benefits. First, Alfalink's staff do not need to give long explanation to the students and to new staff. Second, Alfalink can use it as a promotional tool. Last, students can get complete information about the USA
Macroscopic tunneling, decoherence and noise-induced activation
We study the effects of the environment at zero temperature on tunneling in
an open system described by a static double-well potential. We show that the
evolution of the system in an initial Schrodinger cat state, can be summarized
in terms of three main physical phenomena, namely decoherence, quantum
tunneling and noise-induced activation. Using large-scale numerical
simulations, we obtain a detailed picture of the main stages of the evolution
and of the relevant dynamical processesComment: Contribution to the Proceedings of DICE'0
Conductance anomaly near the Lifshitz transition in strained bilayer graphene
Strain qualitatively changes the low-energy band structure of bilayer
graphene, leading to the appearance of a pair of low-energy Dirac cones near
each corner of the Brillouin zone, and a Lifshitz transition, (a saddle point
in the dispersion relation) at an energy proportional to the strain [M.
Mucha-Kruczynski, I.L. Aleiner, and V.I. Fal'ko, Phys. Rev. B 84, 041404
(2011)]. Here, we show that in the vicinity of the Lifshitz transition the
conductance of a ballistic n-p and n-p-n junction exhibits an anomaly: a
non-monotonic temperature and chemical potential dependence, with the size
depending on the crystallographic orientation of the principal axis of the
strain tensor. This effect is characteristic for junctions between regions of
different polarity (n-p and n-p-n junctions), while there is no anomaly in
junctions between regions of the same polarity (n-n' and n-n'-n junctions).Comment: 10 pages, 4 figures;
