Ā
Findings: According to research, regulations on the organizational structure of a securities company are directly related to the efficiency of management and administration of this company. In there, Supervisory Board/Internal Audit Committee always ensuring to limit negative and fraudulent acts of the companyās leaders, to better ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the company's members and customers. Therefore, the authors have proposed several solutions such as the need to stipulate the mandatory requirement of a Supervisory Board for the securities trading company under the model of limited liability company, and expand and strengthen the powers of the Supervisory Board/Internal Audit Committee, independent members in securities companies doing business in the form of joint stock company. These are important bases to contribute to perfecting the Law on the organizational structure of securities companies in Vietnam and further enhancing the stability and safety of the Vietnamese stock market.

Cooperative Group In Current Vietnamese Commercial Environment
Purpose: The article researches the compatibility between the cooperative group and the current commercial environment in Vietnam to propose for improvement to the laws and for promotion of development of the cooperative group.
Ā
Theoretical framework: Recent literature points out that the cooperative group model is quite suitable for the production and business psychology of citizens in Vietnam. In the current stage of development, however, from the influence and impact of international integration and the increasingly fierce competitive pressure of various types of enterprises, the cooperative group have encountered many difficulties to survive. On the other hand, in the context of judicial reform in Vietnam, the issue of complete law system and expanding the freedom to business has always been paid special attention by the Party and Vietnam State.
Ā
Design/methodology/approach: The authors have combined traditional research methods of legal science such as legal analysis method, legal efficiency assessment method and legal comparison method.
Ā
Findings: According to research, the cooperative group is well adapted to Vietnam's commercial environment because it is compatible with investor psychology and meets the conditions and circumstances of nature, economy and society. However, since Vietnam's deep integration with the rest of the world, the cooperative group model has faced numerous difficulties and challenges, and if suitable solutions are not found, it is very likely that this collective economy will become increasingly difficult. As a result, the article suggests some important solutions, such as offering cooperative group legal status and requiring more preferential lending policies with long loan terms, simple and quick loan procedures, and easy team cooperation.
Ā
Research, Practical & Social implications: This research may support many develop future research in Vietnam.
Ā
Originality/value: The study of the freedom to business become more and more urgent and very important in Vietnam
On asymptotic bases which have distinct subset sums
Let k and l be positive integers satisfying kā„2,lā„1 . A set A of positive integers is an asymptotic basis of order k if every large enough positive integer can be represented as the sum of k terms from A . About 35 years ago, P. ErdÅs asked: does there exist an asymptotic basis of order k where all the subset sums with at most l terms are pairwise distinct with the exception of a finite number of cases as long as lā¤kā1 ? We use probabilistic tools to prove the existence of an asymptotic basis of order 2k+1 for which all the sums of at most k elements are pairwise distinct except for āsmallā numbers

Analyses of Thin-Walled Sections under Localised Loading for General End Boundary Conditions ā Part II: Buckling
Thin-walled sections under localised loading may lead to buckling of the sections. This paper briefly introduces the development of the Semi-Analytical Finite Strip Method (SAFSM) for buckling analyses of thin-walled sections under localised loading for general end boundary conditions. This method is benchmarked against the Finite Element Method (FEM).
For different support and loading conditions, different functions are required for flexural and membrane displacements. In Part 1- Pre-buckling described in a companion paper at this conference, the analysis provides the computation of the stresses for use in the buckling analyses in this paper. Numerical examples of buckling analyses of thin-walled sections under localised loading with different end boundary conditions are also given in the paper in comparison with the FEM
Analyses of Thin-Walled Sections under Localised Loading for General End Boundary Conditions ā Part I: Pre-Buckling
The Semi-Analytical Finite Strip Method (SAFSM) for pre-buckling analysis of thin-walled sections under localised loading has been developed for general end boundary conditions. For different boundary conditions at supports and loading point, different displacement functions are required for both flexural and membrane displacements. As the stresses are not uniform along the member due to localised loading, the pre-buckling analysis also requires multiple series terms with orthogonal functions.
This paper briefly summaries the displacement functions used for different boundary conditions. In addition, the theory of the SAFSM for pre-buckling analysis of thin-walled sections under localised loading with general end boundary conditions is developed. The analysis is benchmarked against the Finite Element Method (FEM) using software package ABAQUS/Standard. The results from this pre-buckling analysis are deflections (pre-buckling modes) and membrane stresses which are used for the buckling analysis described in Part 2 - Buckling in the companion paper
