Comparative study on the effectiveness of building maintenance scheduling between two multipurpose hall buildings

Buildings maintenance is very important for the building and building occupants. Maintenance is a service to make sure the performance of the building in good condition throughout its design life. It is very much needed so we can have very good environment that can help us do our work peacefully. Occupants demand to have priority in terms of comfort of ability to use and utilise the facilities and services as it must be fit for purpose of the user. Work productivity of workers may be demotivated and interrupted due to poor building facilities conditions. In order to prevent that, we have to make sure the building maintenance scheduling are well prepared and followed. This study is about comparative study on the effectiveness of building maintenance scheduling between two multipurpose hall buildings. The objectives of the case study are to investigate the procedure of building maintenance scheduling for the buildings, compare the maintenance scheduling approach between the two multipurpose hall buildings and suggest the best method to practice in the development of building maintenance. This investigation will be carried out through field study and interview from both building. At the end of this study, the data for analysis from the interview have been gathered and it shows that both building are using the same maintenance approaches. Discussion has been explained to provide the comparison for the effectiveness of building maintenance scheduling for both building. Both buildings had made improvement in the building to overcome the building defects and increase the building performance. The buildings have been properly maintain in order to keep it well perform. Some recommendations have been suggested for the future used in having effective building maintenance scheduling. The results from this study are the effectiveness of building maintenance scheduling for both multipurpose buildings have been properly studied and investigated

Diversities Between the Regulations of Turkish Accounting Standard Setters: A Brief History of Turkiye’s Twentieth Century Accounting Standardization Applications

This study examines the evolution of Turkish accounting standards to ascertain the extent of differences in Turkiye’s accounting practices among the different governmental Standard setter’s regulations during the twentieth century. The research results show that the accounting standards had set by the public corporates own self as parallel to economic policies of Turkish Ministry of Finance and money policies of Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye before the establishment of Turkish Accounting and Auditing Standards Board in 1994. METODE INOVATIF PEMBELAJARAN MAHARAH KALAM

Maharah Kalam (skill berbicara) merupakalan skill yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Ketika seseorang mahir dalam berbicara, dia dianggap sudah mampu berkomunikasi dengan komunitas yang menggunakan Bahasa Arab itu. Namun kenyataan yang ditemukan di lapangan, terutama di madrasah-madrasah baik di tingkat Ibtidaiyyah, Tsanawiyah maupun Aliyah kemampuan murid dalam Maharah Kalam sangat lemah, misalnya untuk memperkenalkan diri saja dengan bahasa Arab banyak murid di tingkat Aliyah merasa sulit, padahal mereka sudah belajar bahasa Arab lebih kurang 5 tahun terhitung sejak tingkat Ibtidaiyah. The comparative study of studen’s achievement beetwen using Powerpoint learning media and module learning media of informatian and communication technology on ten grades of MAN 2 Yogyakarta of academic year 2012/2013

grades whose study using PowerPoint learning media and the student who are learning using module learning media in Information Technology and Communication (ICT) lesson at MAN 2 Yogyakarta. This research is done at MAN 2 Yogyakarta for Information Technology and Communication (ICT) lessons with material of second semester. This research is Quasi Experiment with pretest - posttest control group design. The sample of this study is two classes who totaled of 73 students, consist of 37 experiment class and 36 control student class. The experimental class is treated using PowerPoint learning media while the control class is treated using module learning media. The instrument used is pretest and posttest. Data where analyzed using student contribution (t-test). First, they are tested for normality and homogenity. The result shows that there is student achievement difference between using PowerPoint learning media and modul learning media. This is indicated by the difference (t (7874)> t table (1,667)) and the average of experimental class (83.18)> the average value of the control class (69.51). This comparison shows that the average of posttest experimental class is higher than the average of control class. There are differences in academic achievement between students who learn using PowerPoint learning media with the student who are learning using module, the learning achievement using PowerPoint instructional media better than learning to use the module. EVALUASI BAHAN AJAR CETAK BAHASA ARAB UNTUK TINGKAT MADRASAH ALIYAH

Bahan ajar Bahasa Arab, sebagaimana bahan ajar mata pelajaran yang lain, ada yang berbentuk cetak dan ada pula yang berbentuk non cetak. Bahan ajar Bahasa Arab yang berbentuk cetak antara lain: buku teks Bahasa Arab, modul, handout dan lain-lain; sedangkan bahan ajar Bahasa Arab yang berbentuk non cetak antara lain Radio berbahasa Arab, kaset rekaman, video dan lain-lain. Corrosion assessment on reinforced concrete and its service life prediction

Deterioration of structural concrete may be caused either by chemical or physical effects. Corrosion of embedded steel is a major cause of deterioration of concrete structures at the present time. This lead to structural weakening due to loss of steel cross-section, surface staining, cracking or spalling and delamination of concrete and then gradually reduces the service life of the reinforced concrete structures. The most biggest problem is concerned with the structural integrity and safety of reinforced concrete structures by reducing the load carrying capacity. This project was to assess the degree of corrosion on reinforced concrete structure and estimating the residual service life. It was conducted based on electrochemical methods. These methods include galvanostatic pulse method and linear polarization method. A Non-Destructive Test techniques called GalvaPulse was used in this study. These equipments allow us to determine the degree of corrosion, rate of corrosion and interpret the result in corrosion mapping. From the results, assessment on the validation of corrosion in short and long terms by using predictive models are discussed
