Processing of non-standard products in the production of food phosphates

V teoretické části je popsána technologie výroby a jsou definovány zdroje nestandardních materiálů včetně jejich předpokládaného složení. K jednotlivým složkám pak byly vyhledány chemické děje a pochody, ke kterým dochází v průběhu přepracování. Praktická část se zabývá simulací těchto dějů v laboratorním měřítku. Jejím cílem bylo prozkoumat vliv koncentrace peroxidu vodíku při přepracování na bělost výsledného produktu.Theoretical part describes production technology and defines sources of nonconforming materials including their hypothetical composition. Chemical processes that take place during reworking were searched for every compound. Practical part focuses on simulation of these processes in laboratory scale. The aim was to explore dependence of whiteness of final product on hydrogen peroxide concentration during reworking.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ORBITS AFTER GUNSHOT WITH THE DAMAGE OF EYEBALLS (A CASE REPORT)

The authors present an unusual case and clinical case report of a 21 year old patient who sustained a penetrating gunshot injury of his head (and both orbits). The left eye was dislocated in front of the eyelids and heavily damaged. The right eye looked normal. The place where the bullet entered the scull was located near the temporal margin of the right orbit, the exit wound was close to the temporal margin of the left orbit. After the accident the patient was conscious but his visual functions were not examined. The patient was consequently given sedatives and intubated. After his transportation to the hospital, he has undertaken several procedures under a complex intensive care and continual sedation. These included primary enucleation of the left eye, reconstruction of the margin of the left orbit and bilateral revision of the medial area of the orbits with the removal of bone fragments. After the completion of all imaging examinations there was no other pathology found except for the penetration wound of both orbits and ethmoid bones. The ophthalmoscopy could not be evaluated due to a heavy bleeding into the vitreous. The ultrasound examination revealed a heavy traumatic damage of the posterior segment of the eye and therefore a reconstructive surgery (pars plana vitrectomy) was indicated. However, during the surgical intervention the avulsion of nerve fibres from the neuroretina was diagnosed and the state was classified as further unsolvable

Economic Sanctions against SFRY/FRY

Dizertační práce analyzuje mezinárodní hospodářské a ostatní sankce nejprve z hlediska teorie sankcí a poté jejich aplikace na příkladu Socialistické federativní republiky Jugoslávie a Svazové republiky Jugoslávie. Kromě toho zahrnuje analýzu hospodářského uspořádání obou států a následně důsledky uplatnění hospodářských sankcí. Pomocí komparace kriticky hodnotí zvolené sankční nástroje, jejich efektivitu a vynucování ze strany mezinárodního společenství. V práci je využita česká i zahraniční literatura spolu s osobní zkušeností autora s regionem v době sankcí.Author analyses international economic sanctions at first from the theoretical view. Outcomes of the analysis are then applied on cases of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Dissertation also includes the analysis of the economic structure of the two countries as well as the analysis of impact of sanctions followed with critical assessment of the sanction tools, their effectiveness and the level of enforcement by the international community. Dissertation is based on Czech and international literature as well as direct experience of the author with the region during the sanctions period

Assessment of Risks of Selected LPG Stationary Sources in Ostrava

Import 04/07/2011Cílem této diplomové práce je vyhodnotit rizika spojená se stacionárními zdroji LPG, zejména v lokaci čerpacích stanic. Tyto rizika vyhodnotit vhodnými metodami analýzy rizik, na základě kterých vybrat ty nejrizikovější zdroje LPG v Ostravě a vyhodnotit míru společenského rizika a případné dopady na území. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit aktuální legislativní zázemí pro provoz stacionárních zásobníků a jejich skutečné dodržování v praxi. Na základě obdržených poznatků navrhnout metodický postup a ověřit jej na případové studii.The aim of this dissertation is to assess the risks connected with stationary sources of LPG, especially in locations of petrol pumps. These risks were assessed by appropriate methods and in terms of which to choose the most risky sources of LPG in Ostrava. The level of social risk and eventual impacts on the territory was also assessed. Another aim was to find out a current legislative background for operation of stationary containers and their real observance in practice.
