Foreign Tourists' Perceptions of Toraja as a Cultural Site in South Sulawesi, Indonesia

This study discusses foreign tourists' perceptions of Toraja which is a cultural tourism site in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Every year, tourists visit Toraja to participate in their yearly rituals of death take time to visit the graves inside the mountain cliffs (in caves) as they feel the rich cultural heritage and have a view of the traditional houses. Data were collected by interviewing these tourists through the use of questionnaires with randomly selected respondents. The results obtained showed that knowledge about Toraja cultural tourism gained by foreign tourists before their visit creates curiosity and willingness to obtain experiences in Toraja ethnic culture. Foreign tourists get to experience Toraja's rich cultural heritage. According to them, Toraja is one of the most unique, special and outstanding tourism centers in the world. The uniqueness of Toraja culture creates greater curiosity among tourists so that they want to have a cultural experience by conducting a tour to Toraja and through direct communication with Toraja people. However, they also stated the importance of some objects other than those previously listed. Tourist objects that are all related to grief such as graves, however, cause some boredom. Some tourists frowned upon the mismanagement of some tourist centers such as the natural agrotourism center which is known to produce the ingredients used in Toraja products and they suggested ways to manage these areas more effectively

Error Analysis in the Teaching of English

The main purpose of this article is to discuss the importance of error analysis in the teaching of English as a foreign language. Although errors are bad things in learning English as a foreign language%2C error analysis is advantageous for both learners and teachers. For learners%2C error analysis is needed to show them in what aspect in grammar which is difficult for them%2C where as for teachers%2C it is required to evaluate themselves whether they are successful or not in teaching English.%0D%0AIn this article%2C the writer presented some English sentences containing grammatical errors. These grammatical errors were analyzed based on the theories presented by the linguists. This analysis aimed at showing the students the causes and kinds of the grammatical errors. Tidak ada habisnya jika kita mengupas seluruh aspek kehidupan Rasulullah saw, dilihat dari sisi manapun – dan kenyataannya memang seperti itu, bahwa beliau dalah manusia paling sempurna di muka bumi ini. Karena dengan berkembangnya teknologi saat ini, ternyata perilaku beilau, pola makan beliau, dan lainnya sangat berpengaruh pada kesehatan. Baik kesehatan jasmani ataupun rohani, yang berhubungan dengan diri sendiri maupun orang lain. Dalam skripsi ini mambahasa tentang kecerdasan emosional Rasulullah saw. ketika menghadapi situasi yang berpengaruh pada perubahan sikap dan emosi. Di mana beliau dengan tepat memberikan contoh ataupun menasihati terhadap sahabat-sahabatnya bagaiman mengontrol dan mengendalikan diri dalam situasi yang bisa mengakibatkan setiap orang larut dalam kemarahan. The Influence of Emotional Intelligence, Work Environment, and Organizational Support on Employee Performance

This research aimed to determine the influence of emotional intelligence, work environment, and organizational support on employee performance at the Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah. The sample for this research was 62 people taken using probability sampling techniques. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that the emotional intelligence, work environment and organizational support have a significant positive effect on employee performance. This study suggests that the government should pay attention to these three factors to improve employee performance

Interest is a tendency that lasts a long time towards an object or in carrying out an activity (action) which is based on feelings of interest, pleasure that arises from within. Interest plays a very important role in students' lives and has a big impact on attitudes and behavior. Students who are interested in learning activities will try harder than students who are less interested. Football is a game that is played by kicking the ball to and fro which is contested by the players with the aim of putting the ball into the opponent's goal and defending its own goal so that the ball does not concede. In playing the ball, each player is allowed all limbs, except for the hands and arms. The data collection method in this study uses a survey method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire/questionnaire. A COMPUTER CALCULATION FOR TENTATIVE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT BY REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATION CONSIDERING SYSTEM UNBALANCED

An improvement of unbalanced distribution system operation is carried out by reactive power compensation. The lagging reactive power demand is compensated by allocating a number of three-phase shunt capacitors. At the stage, the compensation devices are determined tentatively in term of number, size and location. The effects of the installed shunt capacitors are then analyzed. The unbalanced condition of distribution system is taken into account due to the fact that distribution system is inherently imbalance. For three-phase unbalanced power flow analyses, forward-backward propagation algorithm is proposed. The algorithm works directly on the system without any modification. Starting with determination of forward and backward propagation paths, the algorithm calculates branch currents using backward path. With the branch currents in hand, the bus voltages are calculated using the obtained branch currents and line impedances. Equivalent injection currents representing loads and shunt admittances method are required. The algorithm offers robust and good convergence characteristics for radial distribution system. In this paper, reactive power compensation is simulated using tentative approach and the achieved system improvements are observed. The improvements are presented as losses minimization and voltage profile enhancement. The simulation is carried out for the IEEE 34-bus system, while the system improvements due system compensation are described. ANALISIS KONTRIBUSI DAYA LEDAK LENGAN DAN KELENTUKAN PERGELANGAN TANGAN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SERVIS PANJANG PERMAINAN BULUTANGKIS PADA MAHASISWA FIK UNM MAKASSAR

Abstrak. Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah ada kontribusi daya ledak lengan dan kelentukan pergelangan tangan terhadap keterampilan servis panjang dalam permaianan Bulutangkis Mahasiswa FIK UNM Makassar, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi daya ledak lengan dan kelentukan pergelangan tangan terhadap keterampilan servis panjang permainan bulutangkis Oleh karena itu maka peneltian ini bersifat kontributif dengan menggunakan desain korelasional, yang melibatkan daya ledak lengan dan kelentukan pergelangan tangan sebagai variable bebas dan keterampilan servis panjang sebagai variable terikat. Adapun populasi mahasiswa putra FIK UNM Makassar, menggunakan sampel yang diperoleh secara random (simple random sampling) sebanyak 50 mahasiswa putera. Pengumpulan data variable kelentukan pergelangan tangan menggunakan instrumen alat ukur “ACUMAR” Digital Inclinometer, variable daya ledak lengan menggunakan tes “Two hand medicine ball put test” dan tes keterampilan servis panjang yang sudah baku. Adapun analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis koefisien korelasi (Simple Correlation) dan regresi ganda (Multiple Regression). Dari hasil pengolahan data ketiga variabel penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan penelitian sebagai berikut : (1) Ada kontribusi yang signifikan daya ledak lengan terhadap keterampilan servis panjang permainan bulutangkis, sebesar = 54.80 % (P=.000). (2) Ada kontribusi yang signifikan kelentukan pergelangan terhadap keterampilan servis panjang permainan bulutangkis, sebesar = 37.10 % (P=.000). (3) Ada kontribusi yang signifikan daya ledak lengan, kelentukan pergelangan tangan terhadap keterampilan servis panjang permainan bulutangkis, sebesar = 63.40 % dimana nilai F = 39.844 (P= .000). Profil Tingkat Kesegaran Jasmani Murid Usia 10 sampai 12 Tahun SD Negeri Se-kelurahan Data Kecamatan Duampanua Kabupaten Pinrang

Abstrak – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Tingkat Kebugaran Jasmani Menurut Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia murid Putra Usia 10-12 Tahun pada murid SD Negeri Se-kelurahan Data Kecamatan Duampanua Kabupaten Pinrang.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh seluruh murid kelas IV dan V SD Negeri sekelurahan data kecamatan duampanua kabupaten pinrang dengan SD N 223 Duampanua, SD N 135 Duampanua, dan SD N 197 Duampanua, yang berjumlah 60 murid. Data yang diperoleh peneliti dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic dengan analisis deskriptif prosentase. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kebugaran jasmani menurut TKJI murid putra usia 10-12 tahun di SD Se Kelurahan Data secara umum berada pada kategori kurang sekali sebesar 28,333% (17 murid), kategori kurang persentase sebesar 60% (36 murid), kategori sedang persentase sebesar 10% (6 murid), kategori baik persentase sebesar 1,667% (1 murid), dan ketegori baik sekali dengan persentase sebesar 0% (tidak ada murid). Sedangkan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata yaitu 10,95, tingkat kebugaran jasmani menurut KTJI murid putra usia 10-12 tahun di Murid SD Se Kelurahan Data dalam kategori kuran

Tingkat Keterampilan Menggiring Bola Siswa Ekstrakurikuler Futsal

This research is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to determine the level of dribbling skills in Futsal Extracurricular Students at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. The variable in this study is the single variable, namely the skills of dribbling the Futsal Extracurricular Students at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. The population in this study were all students participating in Futsal extracurricular at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar, while the sample in this study were 15 students participating in futsal extracurricular at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the level of driving skills of Futsal Extracurricular Students at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar is categorized as "Good Enough". With data analysis, namely students in the "Very Good" category of 6.67% (1 student), "Good" category of 33.33% (5 students), "enough" category of 33.33% (5 students), category “Poor” is 13.33% (2 students), and the “very Poor” category is 13.33% (2 students)
