The Effects of Marriage and Divorce on Women's Nationality in the Iranian Law

As the first and foremost social institution, the family significantly impacts its immediate larger society. Also, the importance of family as a key figure in a healthy society and the necessity of strong relations between spouses make it imperative to devise the required legal devices. As women are prone to suffer and receive more damage in cases of family breakdown, the legislator should develop and establish more protective statutes concerning women's rights. This study uses legal research methods with a qualitative approach. To protect Iranian women's rights, the legislator distinguishes cases where an Iranian woman marries a foreign man and those where Iranian men marry foreign women. In the former case, the wife's change, or retention, of nationality is subject to the laws of the husband’s State. In contrast, in the latter case, the legislator enforces the unity of nationality principle. Marriage between Iranian women and foreign men causes women to experience many changes and limitations regarding their national and inheritance rights. Also, they may lose their Iranian nationality due to their marriage —in cases when the husband’s nationality, due to the law of the husband's State, is forced upon the wife. On the other hand, foreign women married to Iranian men, though forced to accept Iranian nationality, encounter fewer limitations resulting from marriage. Upon Divorce, they are neither forced to accept a nationality, unlike when marriage is celebrated, nor denied their Iranian nationality. They can choose whether to remain an Iranian national or recover their original nationality

Until the year 2012, AD was considered the world's second largest gas reserves. Recently new sources of rich gas have been exploring and discovering and are expected to take up the top position of the world's gas reserves. Gas consumption in Iran has increased dramatically in recent years. Industry can find a way to lower gas used as fuel, at least not as important that the gas has been named as the core of development. Gas Shahid Hashemi Nejad Refining Company in the northeast of the country is responsible for providing gas for the six provinces of Iran. This refinery is responsible to produce gas continuously in order to define their plans for 2015 as being Iran's top Oil and Gas company. This study tried to investigate the effect of production management to increase productivity operations management of Shahid Hashemi Nejad Gas refinery. In an interview with the manager of the refinery operation management, it was considered as the effective factor in productivity of the refinery. 95% of the managers of the refinery (all of them were male) were chosen to answer a questionnaire including 20  question. Finally, based on the gathered data, it was concluded that the production management increases the productivity of the refinery

Cervicofacial subcutaneous emphysema (CFSE) is a rare complication. CFSE may happen following some dental procedures including root canal therapy and is caused by unintentional entry of air into potential spaces of head and neck. In the current report, a case of extensive bilateral subcutaneous emphysema -following the root perforation of a maxillary anterior tooth- is presented. A 26-year-old woman was referred for further consultation concerning her right maxillary lateral incisor; for which a poor prognosis was considered following an endodontic treatment. There was a history of sudden facial swelling during root canal therapy. With the exacerbation of the problem and experiencing other symptoms, she was hospitalised. CT scan showed bilateral extension and penetration of air into submandibular, peri-orbital and parapharyngeal spaces. Clinical and radiographic evaluations of the maxillary lateral incisor revealed mid-root perforation on its buccal side, which was sealed by MTA. Eventually, the tooth was successfully restored. Keywords: Necrotizing Fasciitis; Root Perforation; Subcutaneous Emphysem

Prevalence and the causes of not employing thrombolytic agents in patients with acute myocardial infarction referred to Hajar Hospital, Shahrekord, 1999

Cardiovascular diseases are the major causes of mortality in the world and acute myocardial infarction (MI) is the leading cause of mortality among cardiovascular diseases. Thrombolytic therapy can reduce acute MI related mortality especially if provided during the first few hours of the onset of the disease. The current study was undertaken to determine the prevalence and the cause of failure of administration of thrombolytic therapy to acute MI patients admitted to Hajar Hospital from June 1999 to Dec 1999. 62 out of a total of 106 patients (59%) had received thrombolytic therapy. Delay in patient’s referral to the hospital was the major cause of the failure of thrombolytic therapy. The cause of untreatment in 15 (19.5%) cases, who needed such a therapy, was unknown. Instructing the general practitioners and accelerating the process of patient referral process to hospitals could reduce MI related mortalit
