    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manakah yang menghasilkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman cerita anak lebih baik diantara siswa yang diajar menggunakan strategi PQ4R dengan media komik atau strategi ekspositori. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP MBS AL-Amin Bojonegoro yang berjumlah 38 siswa dan sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik SimpleRandom Sampling. Hasil sampling diperoleh bahwa kelas VII-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-B sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan tes. Data diuji hipotesisnya dengan menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa yang diajar menggunakan strategi PQ4R dengan media komik mempunyai keterampilan

    This research aims at: 1) describing the errors of writing in bahasa Indonesia in outdoor media in Bojonegoro, 2) describing the errors in using foreign elements, and 3) determining the suitability of the results of research with teaching materials of bahasa Indonesia at Junior High School. This research is qualitative descriptive with a sample of articles in outdoor media in Bojonegoro. The sampling technique used was purposive. Data collection techniques used were recording, observation, and note-taking. Data validation techniques used were triangulation and peer assessment. The data analysis technique was an interactive analysis which includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the linguistic elements of language errors in outdoor media are related to the use of punctuations, especially a period (.), writing the preposition of “di”, the use of the word “pukul” and “jam”, and abbreviations. Secondly, the type of improper use of foreign terms is dominated by the use of the English and the Javanese. Both languages are used simultaneously on any word or Indonesian phrase. Third, the result of this research can be used as teaching materials of bahasa Indonesia at junior high school level, especially on the subject of spelling and foreign terms (borrowing)

This research had purposes (1) How to asses Amba's figure feminist in Amba novelby Laksmi Pamuntjak? Reality sources of discourse analized based on corpus data on Amba Novel by Laksmi Pamuntjak which focus on feminist discourse analized was developed by Sara Mills. Result of this research showed (1) feminist values of Amba’sfigure on Amba novel by laksmi pamuntjak can be seen by ambas’s characters who smart and forward thinking, both of value was represented by laksmi pamuntjak through Amba’s figure so that women had right similarity. Feminist value could by catecorized as liberal feminist. (2) Amba novel by laksmi pamuntjak is made as feminist discourse through Sara Mills discourse analysis consept, it could by seen by gender representation which descirbet on Amba novel.     AbstrakThis study aims (1) to describe localized, illocutionary, and student-speaking acts of speech acts against teachers in thematic learning at Klegen 02 Madiun. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method that leads to a description of the actual conditions in the field and then described in the text. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.     Flipped Classroom Using Screencast-O-Matic Apps in Teaching Reading Skill in Indonesian Language

    This article aims to describe the implementation of the flipped classroom method using Screencast-O-Matic apps in the teaching of Indonesian language reading skills and the impact this method has on the learning process. This qualitative research was conducted at one of the private institutes in Bojonegoro, Indonesia, and the researcher acted as the observer. The data were obtained through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analysed using Creswell’s thematic analysis, which involves six stages of analysing and intrepreting. Then, the data were validated using triangulations of theory and source. The results of this research show that Screencast-O-Matic apps contribute to the successful implementation of the flipped classroom method. The combination of the teaching method and the media creates innovation in teaching reading skills in the Indonesian language. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher acts as the facilitator, resulting in some good impacts for the students: 1) the students are motivated by the video study materials, 2) the students are able to enjoy their leisure time, 3) the students are pleased with the teaching and learning process and are able to answer questions quickly, 4) the students appreciate each other’s opinions, and 5) the students have more comprehensive knowledge of the Indonesian language reading skills materials

Readers of The King Eternal Monarch 1 novel tend to like this novel because of its strong character packaging and unpredictable plot. 3.) The King Eternal Monarch 1 novel can have a good influence on society through emerging social aspects including, Religious Aspects, Political Aspects, Leadership Aspects and Economic Aspects. 4.) The King Eternal Monarch 1 novel contains character education values ​​according to the statement of the Ministry of National Education (2010) including honesty, religious, discipline, hard work and independence. 5.)     The purpose of this study is to have three objectives: (1) to determine the effect of the collection of library materials on the skills of writing fiction, (2) to determine the influence of the collection of the influence of reading interest on the skills of writing fiction, and (3) to determine the effect of the collection of library materials and reading interest on writing skills fiction. Sampling uses non-probability purposive sampling type so that the sample is obtained by 27 students. This research is a type of ex post facto research with collection techniques in the form of interviews, document analysis, and questionnaires. The prerequisite tests used were validity and reliability tests. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is an influence of the use of library material collection on the skills of writing fiction, this is needed by rcount> rtable (0.658> 0.381), so that it is significantly accepted; (2) there is an influence of reading interest on the skills of writing fictional stories with the need to calculate r> r table (0.654> 0.381), then the significance is accepted; (3) there is an influence between the use of library material collection and reading interest in the writing skills of fiction in fourth grade students with Ftable for 27 is 3.39, so that Freg> Ftable (50.695> 3.39), the significance is accepted

    The aim of this study is to know whether applying quantum learning through Bamboomedia BMGames Apps or direct instruction using the book as a media which able to increase early reading skill. This study is under quasi experimental design that involves the first grade students of sixteen Madrasah Ibtidaiah in Kedungadem Residence. In deciding the sample the researcher used simple random sampling technique. The sample of the schools in this study were the first grade student of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah 1 Kedungadem as experimental class and the first grade of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah 27 Geger as control class. Data collection technique used were documentation and test. The result reveals that both of the group have a homogeneity variance (Fhitung = 0,0556 < 2,0879  = Ftabel) than using t test with significant level 0,05 reveals 7,0573 with t0,05;40 = 1,6838. From the t table DK = . tobs  DK.   Based on the data above, H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that the students taught using quantum learning collaborated with bamboomedia application have skill to read verb, and simple sentence better than the students taught using direct instruction using the book as media

    This study aims to (1) describe the application of media Bamboomedia BMGames apps application smart reading can increase the motivation and skills to read the beginning of the first-class students MI Muhammadiyah 27 Geger, (2) to increase the motivation and skills to read the beginning of the first-class students MI Muhammadiyah 27 Geger using media bambomedia BMGames apps application smart reading. This study is a class action (Classroom Action Research). Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and testing. Data analysis techniques used comparative descriptive techniques and critical analysis. The conclusions of this study were (1) the application of media Bambomaedia BMGames Apps application smart reading in learning to read the beginning of the class I MI Muhammadiyah 27 Geger can increase the motivation and skills of students in each indicator in the cycle I and II, (2) increase student motivation in learning to read the beginning can be seen from pre action average of 54.67%, the first cycle, and the cycle II 72.00%, 81.33% medium, the student's skills in reading increased from the beginning pre action average of 59.33% and then in the first cycle, 71.33 % and the second cycle, 85.33% have reached the limit of completeness (KKM ≥ 70)

    The aims of this research are: 1) to investigate the type of learning difficulties in initial reading and writing faced by second grade students, 2)the factors that caused them having learning difficulties in initial reading and writing. The approach is descriptive qualitative research in form of case study. The subjects of research are second grade students of elementary school 01 Sumoroto, Ponorogo. The data collection techniques are obtained using documentations and interviews. The data obtained are non-statistic data. The data are analysed using interactive models, namely data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion and verification. The results of the study are (1) the type of learning difficulties, in initial reading and writing faced by second grade students of elementary school 01 Sumoroto, namely students that are not fluent in spelling, less clear pronunciation, lack of letters memorization, difficult to distinguish letters, incomplete of words writing, difficulties in composing sentences; (2) the factors that caused learning difficulties in reading and writing are adolescence, love to play rather than learning,like to be a trouble maker in class, study at home when the teacher gives homework, lack of attention, less motivation, and the teacher is less assertive
