As for the method used based on the classification survey of the number of tools used. And from the observation / survey that the number of users of laminar water flow in the Biochemistry laboratory for 1 year (2017) shows a very significant number especially in certain months such as October - November reached 27, 31 users, overall the number of users was quite large.     ABSTRAKPEMBUATAN KARET BORON  UNTUK PROTEKSI  RAD/AS/  NEUTRON.  Suatu laboratorium  neutron radiografi diperlukan shielding elastis yang terbuat dari karet boron. Untuk maksud tersebut. dilakukan penelitian pembuatan karet boron dari karet alam  fase padat dengan serbuk senyawa boron H2B03 dan Na2B407.  Komposisinya adalah 40 pphr (part per one hundred rubber) H2B03.  serta 50 pphr dan 100 pphr Na2B407. Metoda pembuatan sampel mengikuti proses pengolahan karet secara klasik..  Hasil pengujian daya serap terhadap neutron termal untuk masing-masing sampel adalah 94. 95 % untuk karet boron dari H2BO33.   80.77 % untuk karet boron Na2B407  Hasil ini cukup baik namun sifat fisik masih perlu perbaikan. ABSTRACTBORON RUBBER AS A NEUTRON RADIATION PROTECTION MANUFACTURE.     Technology has impacted in most of the sectors, including education field. Nowadays, many schools have incorporated technology through the utilization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into the learning. The use of platforms such as Google Classroom is one of the ways to fit the best classroom practices. This study reveals the teacher’s perception on the use of Google Classroom as a learning media. The qualitative research design which applies interview method is carried out. Seven high school teachers in Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia, who have actively integrated Google Classroom in their teaching for at least 1 year became the participants. Findings showed that teachers use it as a facilitation tool for managing students’ tasks, organizing classroom and accommodating students’ interaction. In general, teachers perceived the use of Google Classroom was very helpful to conduct their virtual classroom. However, teachers stated that they needed to maximize other features of Google Classroom as they hadn’t explored all which would surely bring benefits for their professional development

    RSUD Surakarta has utilized information system in the hospital business process. The overall information system is managed in Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS). Information system in a laboratory called with Laboratory Information System (LIS). The use of LIS is expected to improve performance in the laboratory. For that researchers want to measure the performance of laboratory information systems to find out how far the information system provides benefits to the performance of RSUD Surakarta using IT Balanced Scorecard method. With the aim of research to analyze the achievement of the laboratory information system at RSUD Surakarta based on IT Balanced Scorecard method and to recommend what things need to be done to optimize the performance of laboratory information system. Population and sample of research is 15 laboratory staff. The result of measurement using IT Balanced Scorecard method of laboratory information system performance at RSUD Kota Surakarta is in the very good category with the average achievement of the fourth perspective is 92,92%. Four perspectives are business contribution perspective 83,34%, user orientation perspective 92,05%, operational excellence perspective 98,15%, and future orientation perspective 98,15%.Keywords: Information System, IT Balanced Scorecard, System Performance Analysi

    Cleanliness is one of the requirements to create a healthy living environment. But in reality, not everyone have a concern for environmental hygiene and health. For this reason, learning about the importance of caring for environmental cleanliness must be instilled early on. One interesting method to provide learning about environmental cleanliness can be through games. With the 3D visualization of this environmental cleanliness game, it is an effort to raise awareness of the importance of environmental hygiene and health in the community. The location used in making this game is Campus 1 Poltekkes Surakarta. The purpose of this study is implementation of Navmesh with the A Star (A*) Pathfinding Algorithm on the characters so that players can find the trash location point and the location point of the tree with the shortest route. Making this game uses the GDLC (Game Development Life Cycle) method with stages of Initiation, Pre Production, Production, Testing, Beta and Release. This game can be played on desktop and mobile devices. The results of the research that has been done are seen from the algorithm simulation testing is the nodes that are passed by as many as 50 nodes, where there are duplicate data as many as 7 nodes due to real time systems that read nodes over and over. Thus, the application accuracy rate reaches 86%

    The study was intended to describe the coherence strategies and devices used by the graduate students of Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya in writing Introduction section to achieve coherence. This discourse analysis study described the internal relationship of form and meaning by applying textual analysis with a multimodal analysis. The researcher found non-deductive and neither deductive nor non-deductive strategy in this study. The non-deductive strategy consisted of three elements: context establishment, further focus, and thesis statement. The neither deductive nor non-deductive strategy did not have any complete elements, so those writings were categorized as incoherent introductions. Beside those strategies, there were 6 coherence devices identified; they were repetition of key nouns, the definite article ‘the’, parallelism, purpose signals, substitution, and transitional signals

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses melalui metode problem based learning dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika menggunakan metode konvensional di SMP Negeri 2 Ceper Kabupaten Klaten tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX semester gasal SMP Negeri 2 Ceper Kabupaten Klaten tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sedangkan sampelnya diambil sebanyak 60 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik persyaratan analisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, yang dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis yaitu uji t dua pihak dan t satu pihak. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa nilai tes hasil belajar matematika diperoleh bahwa rata-rata kelas eksperimen yaitu 80,633 lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol yaitu 70,567 dari hasil uji-t dua pihak diperoleh bahwa thitung = 2,500 > ttabel = 2,0021 dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan dk = 58 yang berarti H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses melalui metode problem based learning berbeda dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Dari uji-t satu pihak diperoleh thitung = 2,500 > ttabel = 1,6723 pada taraf signifikan 5 %, dan dk = 58 yang berarti H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses melalui metode problem based learning lebih baik daripada hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas IX semester gasal SMP Negeri 2 Ceper Kabupaten Klaten tahun ajaran 2013/2014

    Dinas Tenaga Kerja (DISNAKER) Kota Samarinda merupakan salah satu Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) yang bertugas untuk melayani masyarakat pada bidangnya. Salah satu layanan di DISNAKER yaitu pembuatan peraturan perusahaan, dimana proses pembuatannya masih secara manual. Diawali perusahaan membawa berkas-berkas yang diperlukan ke DISNAKER, kemudian perusahaan menunggu sekitar 3-4 hari atau bahkan lebih yang dikarenakan tertumpuknya berkas-berkas. Jika dikabarkan kekurangan berkas atau revisi, maka perusahaan tersebut perlu melengkapi atau merevisi dan memberikan kembali ke DISNAKER. Hal ini tentunya membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam proses pembuatan peraturan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Pembuatan Peraturan Perusahaan (3P) berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Metode RAD memiliki 4 fase dalam pembangunan sistem yaitu, fase perencanaan syarat-syarat, fase desain pengguna, fase konstruksi, dan fase pelaksana. Sistem yang telah dibuat berhasil membuat surat keputusan sesuai dengan perusahaan yang mengajukan, dimana surat keputusan merupakan surat yang menyatakan peraturan perusahaan tersebut telah disetujui. Dengan demikian sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam pembuatan peraturan perusahaan tanpa datang ke DISNAKER dan mengurangi biaya mencetak berkas serta dapat membantu DISNAKER mempercepat pembuatan peraturan perusahaan

    Brayat Minulya Hospital is a privately owned hospital engaged in health care services for the general public. In the patient service process, the hospital has used an information system called Graphasoft which is used for outpatient and inpatient services. Currently the outpatient information system (SiRajal) has been running computerized, where all the processes associated with the patient have been input into the system, but there are still obstacles with the slow performance of patient registration on SiRajal and not yet the implementation of monitoring and evaluation process on SiRajal so it is not known whether the system runs in accordance with the hospital's business plan. From these problems, it is necessary to evaluate the outpatient information system using a method that refers to the IT Governance standard that is using the COBIT framework (Control Objectives For Information And Related Technology). The COBIT framework used is version 4.1, with the domain focus of ME (Monitor and Evaluate) on the ME1 subdomain (Monitor and Evaluate IT Performance). Acquisition of data to be processed taken by interview method, questionnaire, analysis of evaluation framework COBIT 4.1. The results of data analysis showed that obtained the calculation of the mean value of maturity of CO ME1 that is at maturity level 2 (Repeatable but Intuitive). still far below the expectations of management. For that recommendation of improvement of findings of the analysis of the results of the Institution is expected to make the work program appropriately, effectively and efficiently to set standards, policies, and procedures on monitoring IT performance optimally, so that SiRajal performance can run smoothly in the future.Keywords : Information System, Framework COBIT 4.1, Maturity Leve
