Australia’s Parental Leave Pay Scheme: Temporal Disruption and ‘Genuine’ Attachment to Waged Work

Australia’s parental leave provisions were enacted to provide both leave and pay for new parents, with the intent of promoting economic gender parity and softening the financial burden of motherhood. This paper investigates the structure of Australia’s parental leave pay (PLP) scheme, particularly its work-test eligibility requirement, and considers the consequences of this requirement for women excluded from PLP benefits by virtue of their attachment to waged work being deemed disingenuous (ie, not ‘genuine’). Földbeásott építmények a Felső-Tisza-vidék középső újkőkori telepein/Sunken buildings on the Middle Neolithic settlements of the upper Tisza region

A szerző a Felső-Tisza-vidék középső neolitikus településeink földbeásott, korábban „gödörházként”, vagy „putriként” emlegetett építményeit vizsgálja. Első lépésként áttekinti a gödrök alaprajzát, méretét, s kiválasztja azokat a sajátosságokat és szerkezetre utaló nyomokat, amelyek jelentőséggel bírhatnak a különböző típusú építmények elkülönítése és szerkezeti rekonstrukciója során. Bemutatja Nagykálló-Harangod esztári település építményeit, amelyek a korábbiaktól eltérően nagyobb ásatási felületen, más telepjelenségekkel együtt kerültek elő. A település szerkezeti elemzése során arra a következtetésre jut, hogy ezek a felszín alá mélyülő építmények a „soros” települési struktúrában, a házaktól nem nagy távolságra, a tárolók által elfoglalt gazdasági zónában helyezkedtek el. Hisztamin hatása a sejtdifferenciációra, összehasonlító vizsgálatok tumor - és embrionális őssejteken = Effect of histamine on cell differentiation, comparative study of tumor-and embronic stem cells

Célkitűzésünk a genetikailag hisztamin hiányos és WT dermatofibrosarcoma tumorsejtek és embrionális őssejtek differenciációs markereinek összehasonlítása volt. Az indukált tumorokból alapított sejttenyészetekből tumor spheroid formájában fenntartható klónokat hoztunk létre, melyek jellemzőikben hasonlítottak az embrionális testet (EB) képző őssejtekre. A továbbiakban microarray analízissel a letapadó, illetve spheroidként/EB-ként növő sejtek génexpressziós mintázatát vizsgáltuk, különös tekintettel az egyedfejlődésben szerepet játszó, és a sejt önmegújulásért felelős transzkripciós faktorokra. Mivel az array adatok igen nagyszámú gén aktivitásában mutattak különbséget, ezért az Ingenuity pathway analízis nyomán csak a Wnt jelátviteli útra koncentráltunk a továbbiakban. Az így kiemelt Id2, Sox2, Nestin, Col2A1 génhálózat expressziós tendenciáit real-time PCR-rel és Western blottal próbáltuk validálni, azonban a 3 módszerrel detektált változások tendenciái nem vagy csak részben mutattak egyezést. Mivel a spheroid- és EB-képzésben a sejt-mátrix kapcsolatoknak is szerepe van (erre utalhat a Col2A1) ezért ebbe az irányba terjesztettük ki kutatásainkat, az adherens és spheroid/EB sejtek adhéziós viselkedését vizsgálva, különös tekintettel egy másik (a hisztaminnal összefüggésben már igazolt szerepű) mátrix komponensre, a fibulin5-re. A HDC KO sejtek fokozottabb adhézióval és fibulin5 expresszióval rendelkeznek, ez összhangban áll a korábban melanoma sejteken tett megfigyelésünkkel. | Our aim was to compare the differentiation markers of BalB/c WT and HDC KO dermatofibrosarcoma tumor cells and embryonic stem cells with the same genetic background. From the induced tumors cell cultures and non-adhesive spheroid forming clones were established, which were similar embryoid bodies (EBs). Subsequently microarray analyses on Agilent platform were carried out to determine the gene expression patterns of the adherent and spheroid or EB forming cells. We focused our interest to those transcription factors involved in cellular self-renewal and in early embryogenesis. As the array data showed differences in hundreds of genes, we concentrated our efforts - after using Ingenuity pathway analysis - the Wnt pathway, important in self-renewal and tumorigenesis. Id2, Sox2, Nestin and Col2A1 elements of this network were used for validation via real-time PCR and Western blotting. Unfortunately the tendencies observed here did not fit well the data derived from microarray analysis. Since cell-matrix connections are important in both spheroid and EB formation (reflected by the Col2A1 expression, too) we expand our efforts to study the adhesive behaviour of adherent and spheroid/body forming cells in connection with an other matrix component fibulin5, its role related to histamine has been proven earlier by us. The HDC KO cells had better adhesion characteristics and increased FBLN5 expression, which is in good correlation our earlier observations made on melanoma cells

INSTAGRAM SEBAGAI INOVASI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA BERBASIS BLENDED LEARNING: KAJIAN PENDAHULUAN

Media pembelajaran sejatinya sangatlah berperan penting untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran secara berbavariasi selain dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik juga dapat membuat pembelajaran lebih bermakna. Saat ini, dunia tengah memasuki era revolusi industri 4.0. Seluruh kegiatan manusia juga bersinggungan dengan platform digital, tak terkecuali dunia pendidikan. Di era sekarang, rata-rata siswa telah memakai gawai pintar dan sebagai pendidik kita harus piawai memanfaatkan peluang tersebut dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Salah satu aplikasi dalam gawai pintar yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran ialah Instagram. Tentunya instagram tidak hanya dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar bertatap muka, namun juga kegiatan belajar mengajar kombinasi (model blended learning). Sejauh ini, banyak akun-akun instagram yang menyebarkan informasi pada khalayak ramai dan berperan sebagai media pembelajaran serta sarana diskusi online. Jadi, yang menjadi fokus pembahasan makalah ini ialah instagram sebagai inovasi media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis blended learning. Besedilni svet romana Vojak s cvetlico madžarskega pisatelja Nándorja Giona kopiči bogato krajevnozgodovinsko, kulturnozgodovinsko, narodopisno in antropološko gradivo. Razprava se v prvi vrsti loteva razkrivanja vidikov, ki se uveljavljajo pri prevajanju romana v srbski, nemški in slovenski jezik. Osredotoča se na prevajanje kulturnih posebnosti in pri tem izhaja iz dejstva, da prevod ni samo akt gramatike in besednega zaklada dveh jezikov, temveč medkulturna komunikacija oziroma kulturna menjava, pri kateri je z različnimi prevajalskimi postopki in metodami »prevedljiv« vsak del resničnosti. Prevedeno delo namreč v veliki meri prenaša tudi kulturo, iz katere izhaja, tako da je bistveni element medkulturnega stika. The current research focuses above all on the aspects of translations into Serbian, German, and Slovene. The analysis focuses on the translation of culturally specific details with attention to the notion that a translation is not merely a function of grammar and vocabulary of both languages, but an intercultural communication, i.e., a cultural exchange. In the intercultural translation any aspect of reality can be “translated” by implying various translation trategies. A translation is a carrier of the source culture and as such should be considered a significant element of intercultural communication. As the culture is an organized system of symbols, the carriers of meanings, it is on the one hand a “model of reality” and on the other a “model of truth” (Iser)

TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI DALAM KOMENTAR NETIZEN DI FORUM BUKALAPAK.COM: KAJIAN PRAGMATIK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya modus penipuan yang bermunculan di situs belanja online. Salah satu situs belanja online yang diduga terjadi modus penipuan adalah Bukalapak.com. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, mendorong peneliti untuk meneliti penggunaan bahasa yang dipakai oleh netizen dalam berkomentar di forum Bukalapak.com. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam forum Bukalapak.com; (2) Implikatur yang terdapat dalam forum Bukalapak.com; dan (3) mengukur tingkat validitas yang terdapat dalam forum Bukalapak.com. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan komentar netizen dalam forum Bukalapak.com dalam kurun waktu dari tahun 2016 – Januari 2018. Objek kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah tindak tutur ilokusi dalam komentar netizen di forum Bukalapak.com terkait kasus penipuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, klasifikasi data, analisis serta pembahasan, dan terakhir penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan jenis tindak tutur ilokusi asertif/representatif berimplikasi keluhan dan menyarankan. Tindak tutur direktif berimplikasi memohon dan menasihati. Tindak tutur ilokusi yang paling sering digunakan oleh netizen dalam berkomentar di forum Bukalapak.com adalah tindak tutur asertif/representatif berimplikasi keluhan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa banyaknya kasus penipuan di situs belanja online Bukalapak.com sehingga netizen banyak mengeluhkannya melalui forum Bukalapak.com. Implikatur yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini dari 21 data semuanya implikatur konvensional yang artinya semua tuturannya memiliki pesan yang langsung diperoleh dari makna kata tidak didasarkan pada prinsip kerja sama atau maksim-maksim. Validitas tuturan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini yang paling dominan adalah tuturannya tidak valid karena kurangnya bukti dan penutur kurang bersungguh-sungguh dalam menuturkan kalimatnya.;--- This research is motivated by the existence of fraud mode that popping up on online shopping sites. One of the online shopping sites suspected of fraud mode is Bukalapak.com. Based on this, encouraging researchers to examine the use of language used by netizens in commenting on the forum Bukalapak.com. This study aims to describe (1) the type of speech act of illokusi contained in Bukalapak.com forum; (2) Implications contained in the Bukalapak.com forum; and (3) measure the validity level contained in the Bukalapak.com forum. Subjects in this study is a netizen comment in Bukalapak.com forum in the period from 2016 to January 2018. The object of study in this study is the act of speech illokusi in netizen comments in Bukalapak.com forum related fraud case. The method used in this study using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques conducted in this study include data reduction, data classification, analysis and discussion, and finally the conclusion. The results of this study found that the type of actuative assertive speech acting / representative implicated the complaint and suggest. Actions directive directive implies pleading and counseling. The most commonly used illuminant actors used by netizens in commenting on the Bukalapak.com forum are actificative / representative speech acts implicated in complaints. This indicates that the number of fraud cases on online shopping site Bukalapak.com so many netizens complained through the forum Bukalapak.com. The implicatures in this study of 21 data are all conventional implicatures which means that all speeches have messages directly derived from the meaning of words not based on the principle of cooperation or maxim-maxim.
