Influence of store attributes on shopping intentions in factory outlet malls

This paper examines the effect of eight types of consumer decision-making styles and shopping behaviour on future shopping intentions at factory outlet malls. Results indicate that six out of eight decision-making styles are positively related of future shopping intentions. Conclusions drawn from the current study's findings and their implications for consumer decision-making and shopping behaviour are discussed

Calibration and accuracy assessment of Leica ScanStation C10 terrestrial laser scanner

Requirement of high accuracy data in surveying applications has made calibration procedure a standard routine for all surveying instruments. This is due to the assumption that all observed data are impaired with errors. Thus, this routine is also applicable to terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) to make it available for surveying purposes. There are two calibration approaches: (1) component, and (2) system calibration. With the intention to specifically identify the errors and accuracy of the Leica ScanStation C10 scanner, this study investigates component calibration. Three components of calibration were performed to identify the constant, scale error, accuracy of angular measurement and the effect of angular resolution for distance measurement. The first calibration has been processed using closed least square solutions and has yielded the values of constant (1.2 mm) and scale error (1.000008879). Using variance ratio test (F-Test), angles observation (horizontal and vertical) for Leica C10 scanner and Leica TM5100A theodolite have shown significance difference. This is because the accuracy of both sensors are not similar and these differences are 0.01 and 0.0075º for horizontal and vertical measurements, respectively. Investigation on the resolution setting for Leica C10 scanner has highlighted the drawback of the tilt-and-turn target. Using the highest resolution, Leica Cyclone software only able to recognize the tilt-and-turn target up to 10 m distance compare to 200 m for the black and white target

Implementasi Algoritma Genetika untuk Memprediksi Waktu dan Biaya Pengerjaan Proyek Konstruksi

Pada beberapa proyek konstruksi yang dikerjakan oleh beberapa Perusahaan memiliki tahapan dalam pengerjaannya. Dalam pengerjaan proyek tentu akan mengalami banyak kendala baik berasal dari internal atau dari eksternal. kendala yang dihadapi adalah waktu dan biaya penyelesaiannya. Untuk menyelesaikan persoalan tersebut maka dip erlukannya sebuah aplikasi yang dapat memprediksi penggunaan biaya dan waktu sehingga proyek yang dikerjakan sesuai dengan harga dan waktu yang telah disepakati. Algoritma yang digunakan untuk membangun aplikasi yang dapat memprediksi waktu dan biaya pengerjaan proyek konstruksi adalah algoritma genetika. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah 98.72% keakuratannya dalam memprediksi waktu dan biaya pengerjaan proyek konstruksi yang dimana aplikasi ini dapat memberikan output berupa hasil prediksi waktu dan biaya pengerjaan proyek konstruksi berdasarkan luas tanah yang di input dan pemilihan kromosom. Kromosom yang dimaksud adalah salah satu pekerjaan dari masing - masing proyek, yang memiliki luas tanah dengan selisih 5 angka dari luas tanah yang di input. Hasil ini didapat dengan total pengujian sebanyak 25 kali pengujian

Fuzzy production planning models for an unreliable production system with fuzzy production rate and stochastic/fuzzy demand rate

In this article, we consider a single-unit unreliable production system which produces a single item. During a production run, the production process may shift from the in-control state to the out-of-control state at any random time when it produces some defective items. The defective item production rate is assumed to be imprecise and is characterized by a trapezoidal fuzzy number. The production rate is proportional to the demand rate where the proportionality constant is taken to be a fuzzy number. Two production planning models are developed on the basis of fuzzy and stochastic demand patterns. The expected cost per unit time in the fuzzy sense is derived in each model and defuzzified by using the graded mean integration representation method. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the optimal results of the proposed fuzzy models
