Transverse momentum dependent distributions in e+e−e^+e^- and semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering using jets

The extraction of transverse momentum dependent distributions (TMDs) in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering (SIDIS) is complicated by the presence of both initial- and final-state nonperturbative physics. We recently proposed measuring jets (instead of hadrons) as a solution, showing that for the Winner-Take-All jet axis the same factorization formulae valid for hadrons applied to jets of arbitrary size. This amounts to simply replacing TMD fragmentation functions by our TMD jet functions. In this paper we present the calculation of these jet functions at one loop. We obtain phenomenological results for $e^+e^- \to$ dijet (Belle II, LEP) and SIDIS (HERA, EIC) with a jet, building on the arTeMiDe code. Surprisingly, we find that the limit of large jet radius describes the full $R$ results extremely well, and we extract the two-loop jet function in this limit using Event2, allowing us to achieve N$^3$LL accuracy. We demonstrate the perturbative convergence of our predictions and explore the kinematic dependence of the cross section. Nongauge bright soliton of the nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation and a family of generalized NLS equations

We present an approach to the bright soliton solution of the NLS equation from the standpoint of introducing a constant potential term in the equation. We discuss a `nongauge' bright soliton for which both the envelope and the phase depend only on the traveling variable. W-boson production in TMD factorization

At hadron colliders, the differential cross section for $W$ production can be factorized and it is sensitive transverse momentum dependent distributions (TMD) for low boson transverse momentum. While, often, the corresponding non-perturbative QCD contributions are extrapolated from $Z$ boson production, here we use an existing extraction (based on the code Artemide) of TMD which includes data coming from Drell-Yan and semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering, to provide checks and predictions for the $W$ case. Including fiducial cuts with different configurations and kinematical power corrections, we consider transverse momentum dependent cross sections within several intervals of the vector boson transverse mass. We perform the same study for the $p_T^{W^-}/p_T^{W^+}$ and $p_T^Z/p_T^W$ distributions. We compare our predictions with recent extractions of these quantities at ATLAS and CMS and results from TeVatron. Los claroscuros de la sincronización internacional de los ciclos económicos: evidencia sobre la manufactura de México

Se analiza la sincronización de las fluctuaciones cíclicas de la división manufacturera de México con el ciclo estadounidense. Se utiliza el enfoque tradicional de los ciclos de crecimiento para el periodo 1980-2004 en submuestras de cinco años que se desplazan en el tiempo, lo cual permite estudiar la evolución temporal del proceso. Los resultados sugieren que la sincronización se ha incrementado sustancialmente en el marco del TLCAN, pero ha sido heterogénea, pues el comercio exterior puede haber sido un mecanismo de transmisión fundamental en el proceso. También se muestra que las actividades más integradas al exterior son más vulnerables a los choques externos, lo cual puede constituir una debilidad de la nueva estrategia de desarrollo

Among the conclusions and for the purpose of this study, it is intended to subject the social interests over the private interests of the Private Law of the "autonomy of the Will", to seek the benefit of the interests of the whole society.En este artículo vemos como el Liberalismo es el que fundamento las codificaciones del orden ideológico y socioeconómico del siglo XIX, en donde el Estado asuma una postura diferente ante la economía de mercado debido a los cambios surgido. Causando el abandonó del iusnaturalismo que da lugar al positivismo del Derecho Estatal. Entre los objetivos de la investigación tenemos el que podamos establecer que la libertad y la igualdad no se dieron de manera espontánea, sino que vienen a ser un deber ser. Se buscará la realización de la justicia a través del Derecho Privado, el cual no debe limitarse la actividad individual a través del Estado Social, representa una escisión entre el Estado y la sociedad. El análisis histórico- doctrinal del tema lo hicimos utilizando el método inductivo.
