Histomorphological study of ovarian atresia over the reproductive cycle of Octopus vulgaris from Galician waters (NW Spain)

13 páginas, 8 figuras, 1 tablaAtresia has been poorly examined in cephalopods. We here provide a histological description of this process along the whole ovary development for Octopus vulgaris. Additionally, we related its occurrence to morphometric parameters, and its seasonal cycle was further analysed. Atresia occurred all year round in immature and mature females and in previtellogenic and vitellogenic oocytes. However, more mature females were more prone of being atretic. This occurred mainly in spring when females had atretic previtellogenic oocytes in mature macrostages. By contrast, vitellogenic atresia occurred mainly from spawning to post-spawning females. Furthermore, two types of phagocytic cells were identified as responsible for the reabsorption during atresia. The phagocytic follicle cells only occurred in yolk-bearing oocytes; and within the two haemocyte populations only the smaller ones seemed to be involved in engulfing atretic oocytes. Additionally, advanced atresia in post-spawning females showed yellow–brown bodies as a possible result of follicle cell apoptosis and highlighting the end of the reproductive cycle. Given the pattern of atresia, the reproductive strategy of this species is based on an asynchronic ovary development and a synchronous ovulation during spawning. 198 p.El presente trabajo tiene como propósito caracterizar el Discurso Terapéutico Fonoaudiológico en los aspectos pragmáticos y discursivos en una primera sesión de evaluación, entre profesionales fonoaudiólogos que se desempeñan en el Ámbito de Salud versus aquellos que lo hacen en el Ámbito de Educación. Los resultados se obtienen a partir del Análisis de Corpus Lingüísticos, extraídos de la transcripción de los quince primeros minutos de la primera sesión de evaluación de ocho Fonoaudiólogos, cuatro pertenecientes al ámbito salud y cuatro a educación. La importancia de realizar este estudio es que no existen investigaciones que caractericen y comparen el discurso terapéutico fonoaudiológico. Reflexiones sobre el aprendizaje de la guitarra en la Educación Musical española. Propuesta de actuación

Esta comunicación trata de la problemática que se plantea ante la diversidad de roles de los alumnos de guitarra según los distintos centros y niveles, como pueden ser: el alumno-guitarrista de acompañamiento, el guitarrista por cifra o exagrama, el guitarrista de conservatorio, el guitarrista de flamenco y el alumno guitarrista de nuevas músicas (Jazz, Blues, Rock, etc.)Tras este primer análisis plantea distintas propuestas de actuación para la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la guitarra en la formación musical del individuo en los distintos niveles educativos, basándonos en los siguientes puntos:- Es un instrumento polifónico ideal para el acompañamiento de la voz, así como de otros instrumentos melódicos (flauta dulce, melódica, armónica…)- El comienzo de ese aprendizaje se puede dar a la temprana edad de cuatro o cinco años- Fomenta la participación de la música mediante la creación de agrupaciones como las rondallas, tunas, etc…Planteamiento para abordar la problemática de la diversidad- Acercar al alumno profesional a la música popular- Dar un carácter más científico al aprendizaje de la guitarra de acompañamiento- Unificar en cierta forma todos los perfiles mencionado

Multiple colonizations, in situ speciation, and volcanism-associated stepping-stone dispersals shaped the phylogeography of the Macaronesian red fescues (Festuca L., Gramineae)

Whereas examples of insular speciation within the endemic-rich Macaronesian hotspot flora have been documented, the phylogeography of recently evolved plants in the region has received little attention. The Macaronesian red fescues constitute a narrow and recent radiation of four closely related diploid species distributed in the Canary Islands (F. agustinii), Madeira (F. jubata), and the Azores (F. francoi and F. petraea), with a single extant relative distributed in mainland southwest Europe (F. rivularis). Bayesian structure and priority consensus tree approaches and population spatial correla tions between genetic, geographical, and dispersal distances were used to elucidate the phylogeographical patterns of these grasses. Independent versus related origins and dispersal versus isolation by distance (IBD) hypotheses were tested to explain the genetic differentiation of species and populations, respectively. Genetic structure was found to be geographi cally distributed among the archipelagos and the islands endemics. The high number of shared AFLP fragments in all four species suggests a recent single origin from a continental Pliocene ancestor. However, the strong allelic structure detected among the Canarian, Madeiran, and Azorean endemics and the significant standardized residual values obtained from structured Bayesian analysis for pairwise related origin hypotheses strongly supported the existence of three independent continental-oceanic colonization events. The Canarian F. agustinii, the Madeiran F. jubata, and the two sister F. francoi and F. petraea Azorean species likely evolved from different continental founders in their respective archipelagos. Despite the short span of time elapsed since colonization, the two sympatric Azorean species probably diverged in situ, following eco logical adaptation, from a common ancestor that arrived from the near mainland. Simple dispersal hypotheses explained most of the genetic variation at the species level better than IBD models. The optimal dispersal model for F. agustinii was a bidirectional centripetal stepping-stone colonization pattern, an eastern-to-western volcanism-associated dispersion was fa vored for F. francoi, whereas for the recently derived F. petraea a counterintuitive direction of colonization (west-to-east) was suggested. The population-based phylogeographical trends deduced from our study could be used as predictive models for other Macaronesian plant endemics with similar distribution areas and dispersal abilities. Aproximación a la regulación en España de construcciones sostenibles y soluciones eco-eficientes.

Is there any law related to sustainable buildings and eco-efficient solutions in Spain? How harmful effects on the environment caused by the building industry are regulated? The emergence of concepts such as sustainability or eco-efficiency in the mid-twentieth century has caused a deep impact in the building industry, changing traditional techniques, systems and procedures that have promoted research for the use of materials more efficient. All aimed at lessening the harmful effects on the environment. In order to have a better comprehension of the impact caused by the regulation in the construction model we have prepared a comprehensive inventory of the existing regulations in Europe, Spain and Andalusia on sustainable buildings and ecoefficient solutions. All of this allows us to shape the current legal framework and its impact on the eco-efficient building model with the prospect of advancing in the achievement of sustainability objectives and therefore it is crucial to have a fair regulation on this field, adapted to the progress and in the same line with the sustainability objectives established in the European framework¿Existen normas vinculadas a la construcción sostenible y las soluciones ecoeficientes en España? ¿Cómo se regulan los efectos perjudiciales sobre el medio ambiente provocados por el sector de la construcción? La aparición de los conceptos de sostenibilidad y eco-eficiencia a mediados del siglo XX ha supuesto la modificación de hábitos dentro del ámbito de la construcción, regenerando técnicas constructivas, sistemas constructivos y procedimientos que han fomentado la investigación para el uso de materiales más eficientes. Todo ello orientado a aminorar los efectos perjudiciales sobre el medio ambiente. A efectos de una mejor comprensión del impacto normativo en el modelo constructivo hemos elaborado un detallado inventario de las normas aplicables en Europa, España y en Andalucía relativas a las construcciones sostenibles y las soluciones eco-eficientes. [spa] La marca SHEIN ha conseguido en los últimos años posicionarse como unas de las más consumidas en el mercado fast fashion. Su crecimiento y el posicionamiento logrado en poco tiempo, superando a algunos competidores del sector, han puesto el énfasis en las ventajas de su modelo de negocio. El despliegue y desarrollo de la estrategia interna de la empresa ha supuesto un factor clave en su éxito. Pero detrás de ello, hay un coste en la sombra que resulta cuanto menos cuestionable y del que no siempre la clientela es del todo consciente. Tras las críticas por greenwashing, ahora la marca manifiesta su intención de integrarse en la economía circular y hacer su producción más sostenible, pero resulta dubitativo la certeza y efectividad de esta estrategia sin alterar su modelo de negocio. También, por parte de las personas consumidoras que abanderan una ética que no siempre, y en todos los casos, es correspondida con las marcas que consumen debido a la prioridad de obtener un producto a un precio bajo. Es por ello, que el presente estudio busca conocer, analizar y cuestionarse el modelo de negocio de la empresa y sus consecuencias, pero también reflexionar sobre la ética de la clientela en el momento de consumir. El atletismo ecuatoriano cuesta arriba

Ecuador is a country of football. However, his greatest sporting achievements have not exactly been with the ball. The track was the first sport that gave us an Olympic Champion. Jefferson Perez in 1996, in the Atlanta Olympics won gold medal in the 20 km walking contest, and then silver medal in the same event, at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. That achievement made the country proud and people aware that anything is possible. However, no other sportsperson was able to reach this level since then and we have never seen our flag again among the best in the world. Jefferson's retirement has left the country without Olympic medals and the track and field without leader. Ecuador is not a sports power and the case of Pérez was the exception. But why have Ecuadorians not been able to reach another Olympic title? Are we different from athletes of other countries? What do we need? It is necessary to evaluate the Ecuadorian sport and ask what is its situation. Why we have not reached again the highest level? What is missing? What are the problems we face? especially, what must we do be better? Analysis follow.El Ecuador es un país de fútbol. Sin embargo sus mayores logros deportivos no han sido precisamente con la pelota. El Atletismo fue el primer deporte que nos dio un Campeón Olímpico. Jefferson Pérez en las Olimpiadas de Atlanta 1996 ganó medalla de oro en los 20 km marcha, y posteriormente medalla de plata en la misma prueba, en las Olimpiadas de Beijin 2008. Aquel logro enorgulleció y motivó todo un país a superarse, a creer que sí se puede y que los ecuatorianos somos capaces. Sin embargo, ningún otro ecuatoriano ha llegado a tan alto nivel y no hemos vuelto a ver nuestra bandera entre las mejores del mundo. La ida de Jefferson ha dejado al país sin medallas olímpicas y al atletismo estancado. El Ecuador no es una potencia deportiva y el caso de Pérez fue la excepción, más que la regla; pero ¿cuál es la razón de ese estancamiento? ¿Acaso somos diferentes a los demás deportistas del exterior? ¿Qué nos hace falta?
