Rapport sur la bibliographie présenté à la Convention nationale, le 22 germinal an II (1794)

« Document numérisé pour l\u27ENSSIB » - Ce document officiel est destiné à des professionnels. Présenté lors de la Convention nationale en 1794, il fait état de la situation des collections et des bibliothèques au sortir de la Révolution, pointant leur diversité et leur abondance. Il explique ensuite le projet de la Bibliographie française, son caractère indispensable, ses objectifs, ses conséquences positives en terme de valorisation des collections. Il insiste sur les difficultés rencontrées face à l\u27ampleur de la tâche, notamment les réticences des administrations locales, les problèmes financiers et le temps requis. Ce rapport est suivi du Décret de la Convention nationale visant les administrations de district. Ce dernier les oblige à rendre compte rapidement du travail effectué sur les catalogues des bibliothèques de leur arrondissement. L\u27intérêt de ce document est d\u27ordre historique, permettant d\u27appréhender la mise en oeuvre d\u27une politique de traitement des documents et d\u27une volonté de centraliser ces informations pour créer un outil de travail pertinent et efficace

Germline mutation in the RAD51B gene confers predisposition to breast cancer.

International audienceBACKGROUND: Most currently known breast cancer predisposition genes play a role in DNA repair by homologous recombination. Recent studies conducted on RAD51 paralogs, involved in the same DNA repair pathway, have identified rare germline mutations conferring breast and/or ovarian cancer predisposition in the RAD51C, RAD51D and XRCC2 genes. The present study analysed the five RAD51 paralogs (RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D, XRCC2, XRCC3) to estimate their contribution to breast and ovarian cancer predisposition. METHODS: The study was conducted on 142 unrelated patients with breast and/or ovarian cancer either with early onset or with a breast/ovarian cancer family history. Patients were referred to a French family cancer clinic and had been previously tested negative for a BRCA1/2 mutation. Coding sequences of the five genes were analysed by EMMA (Enhanced Mismatch Mutation Analysis). Detected variants were characterized by Sanger sequencing analysis. RESULTS: Three splicing mutations and two likely deleterious missense variants were identified: RAD51B c.452 + 3A > G, RAD51C c.706-2A > G, RAD51C c.1026 + 5_1026 + 7del, RAD51B c.475C > T/p.Arg159Cys and XRCC3 c.448C > T/p.Arg150Cys. No RAD51D and XRCC2 gene mutations were detected. These mutations and variants were detected in families with both breast and ovarian cancers, except for the RAD51B c.475C > T/p.Arg159Cys variant that occurred in a family with 3 breast cancer cases. CONCLUSIONS: This study identified the first RAD51B mutation in a breast and ovarian cancer family and is the first report of XRCC3 mutation analysis in breast and ovarian cancer. It confirms that RAD51 paralog mutations confer breast and ovarian cancer predisposition and are rare events. In view of the low frequency of RAD51 paralog mutations, international collaboration of family cancer clinics will be required to more accurately estimate their penetrance and establish clinical guidelines in carrier individuals

Sistematización del proceso participativo para la creación de la política de innovación en la UNED

Las universidades, como organizaciones sociales requieren transitar en un proceso de transformación que les permita repensar su quehacer y, alcanzar una mayor cercanía a las comunidades educativas, por medio del trabajo en sus áreas sustantivas. La innovación, se constituye en este contexto, en un acicate para la educación superior; que invoca cambio y transformación profunda en lo que hace y en las formas, procesos y herramientas que emplea para lograrlo. Esta concepción de innovación va más allá de lo que se considera en estos días y en diferentes contextos, reducida al uso intensivo de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación. La necesidad de sistematizar y generar conocimiento que permitiera comprender y fortalecer las capacidades innovadoras en la UNED, propició que un grupo interdisciplinario, conformado por decisión abierta e individual de sus integrantes y, con representación de las distintas Vicerrectorías de la universidad, se organizara y conformara el Nodo de Innovación. Este grupo asumió la tarea de investigar el quehacer innovador de la institución y el estudio de distintos marcos de referencia teórico-conceptuales sobre la innovación y la organización para ofrecer a las autoridades universitarias y la comunidad educativa en general, un diseño de sistema de innovación particular orientado a la UNED; sustentado en la aprobación de una política institucional y su respectivo plan de implementación. Esta ponencia explica la sistematización diseñada especialmente por el Nodo de Innovación, en la definición de esa propuesta de la política de innovación como sistema y que desde el mes de julio del 2017, se encuentra en discusión dentro de dos comisiones del Consejo Universitario, con la intención de ser llevada y aprobada al seno del plenario de ese órgano político colegiado

The two parallel biographies, the Syriac Life of Peter the Iberian, the Georgian prince who converted to Christianity, and the Life of Melania the Younger, the Roman patrician, have come down to us through a manuscript tradition and attest to the spread of monastic practices in Palestine around the 5th century. The texts allow us to investigate this phenomenon through the interpretation of selected passages which show how the common narrative of some certain significant events attests to the existence (and the fervent activity) of monastic circuits in Gaza, marked by particular lifestyles and guided by doctrinal choices. This inquiry, as well as providing important information on a certain kind of monasticism, offers the chance to make useful comparisons with the other forms of monasticism that enlivened the East in Late Antiquity
