Se busca maestros. Recompensa ¡premios y honores!
Early stimulation intends to offer a stimulating reinforcement through a range of educational and therapeutic iniciatives for children with special needs and their families. This paper presents an intervention in a unique case in order to maintain psychomotor and socio-affective skills, stimulate the adaptive response of a child with Lennox Syndrome. Also this intervention promotes his social inclusion and remove his environmental barriers. This is enabled by an early stimulation programme. Despite the challenges, the results has been successful, therefore, at the end of the intervention it is recommended to continue with the proposed program. However, there are other issues to be reinforced so is recommended to send the child to an additional service

The heritage school in the Asturias museums
In this article we analyze the safeguard process of Asturian educational heritage, which began at the eighties of the 20th century. For reaching this purpose, we have rebuilt its first steps, described the evolution and actual situation from the consolidated museographic collections and the possible effects that they have onto the territory and culture of this region. The exhibited collections have mainly ethnographic character, are settled in a rural habitat and show furniture and basic tools used in the primary education during the 20th century. The analysis recognizes the contributions made by the historians of education as reference knowledge for the school heritage, and suggests the need so that future investigations deal, in a deeper way, with the representation of the objects used in the teaching.
Resorting to periodic publications in historical research has become common in recent decades; however, the information supplied by ecclesiastical bulletins — the broadcasting organ of the Catholic Church’s official directives— has not been used sufficiently as a tool for understanding the connections and relationships between the church and the state as regards teaching. This article aims to point out the potential that these bulletins have for education historians. In this regard, we first set out to synthesize the legal framework and the church’s doctrine — beginning with the birth of the periodic publication in the mid-19th century up to the third decadfe of the 20th century — and we outline the relationship that church and state maintained during this period. Then we characterize the ecclesiastical bulletins and take note of those educational issues related to primary education that are addressed in them and that would be useful, in some cases, to contrast and compare information that comes from other sources —the control that church and state exerted on the teachers in relation to the catholic practices that they should conduct with the students, for example— and, in others, to investigate little known aspects —the catholic teachers’ group of associations, as another example—, contributing, thus, to the construction of a more complete history of primary education.
Recycling Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste: Systematic Literature Review and Bibliometric Analysis of Research Trends
The authors appreciate the support of the research group TEP-968 (Technologies for Circular
Economy) of the University of Granada. The organic fraction is usually the predominant fraction in municipal solid waste, so its
recycling is a potential alternative to disposal in landfill sites, as well as helping to reach targets
included in the European Circular Economy Package. The existing body of knowledge in this
research field is very large, so a comprehensive review of the existing scientific literature has been
considered of interest to provide researchers and professionals with a detailed understanding of
the status quo and predict the dynamic directions of this field. A systematic literature review and
bibliometric analysis have been performed to provide objective criteria for evaluating the work
carried out by researchers and a macroscopic overview of the existing body of knowledge in this field.
The analysis of 452 scientific articles published from 1980 to 2019 has shown that the application
of composting technologies is relevant, especially since 2014, when policies aimed at reducing
emissions to the atmosphere were increased and focused on the use of this waste fraction to produce
biogas. Nevertheless, the scientific field is still evolving to impose a model of a circular economy;
in fact, emerging studies are being conducted on the production of biomethane, contributing to the
decarbonised energy system.Research group TEP-968 (Technologies for Circular Economy) of the University of Granad
Addition of microencapsulated PCM into single layer mortar: physical and thermal properties and fire resistance
The energy consumption in buildings has increased in the last years due to the energy demand
for thermal comfort. The improvement of thermal properties in building materials is one of the
key points to achieve a reduction of the energy demand. Thermal energy storage (TES) is an
alternative to save energy that has been investigated extensively in recent years. The addition of
phase change materials (PCM) in a material increases its thermal inertia because PCM are able
to store and release energy in sensible and latent heat. In this paper coatings used in the outer
walls of buildings are studied, in particular single layer mortar. Microencapsulated paraffin
PCM is added into the material to improve the thermal properties of the building envelope. The
use of PCM combined with thermal insulation can reduce the energy consumption of buildings
by absorbing heat gains and reducing the heat flow. Two types of single layer mortar
Weber.Therm.Mineral commerzialized by Weber Saint Gobain incorporating different
percentages of microencapsulated PCM type Micronal® DS5001 (20%, 10% and 0%) in their
formulations are studied in this paper. The main objective of this work is to analyze the effect of
PCM addition on the properties of two single layer mortars. Fresh mortar properties, as well as
fire behavior, physical, mechanical and thermal properties of hardened mortar have been
evaluated. The results show that physical and mechanical properties of single layer mortar are
affected by the addition of microencapsulated PCM. Compressive strength decreases 60% with
the addition of 20% of PCM in the formulation while the formulation with 10% of PCM has
approximately the same compressive strength than a single layer mortar without PCM. The
addition of PCM in the formulation decreases in 35% the adherence of the single layer mortar to
a concrete surface. The presence of PCM in the mortar formulation worsens the fire behavior,
due to the organic, and therefore flammable, composition of Micronal® DS5001. Flammability
increases according to the percentage of PCM added. As a general conclusion, physical and
mechanical properties of the single layer mortar become worse when the percentage of the
added microencapsulated PCM is increased. Nevertheless, an improvement of thermal
properties is expected and the quantification will be done that could justify the addition of PCM
to some extent.Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version
