Bares 2.0 wave buoy and sustainable buoy network
The aim of this article is to show the operation of the Bares 2.0 wave buoy
and the Bares network developed by HCTech. In the marine sector it is highly important
to know the state of the sea for applications such as the construction of ports,
the study of the impact of waves in coastal areas, the development and calibration
of forecasting wave models, the knowledge of the state of the maritime navigation
channels, etc. Some of the great difficulties that exist in order to obtain the information
of ocean waves is the high cost of the buoys, installation and maintenance. The
Bares network aims to cover areas of high oceanographic interest, the target is a
sustainable network of buoys that facilitate the access to wave data. The features
of this network are the optimized cost, high reliability and reduced maintenance.Peer Reviewe
Strain mapping and nanocrystallite size determination by neutron diffraction in an aluminum alloy (AA5083) severely plastically deformed through equal channel angular pressing
Six specimens of an aluminum alloy (AA-5083) extruded by Equal Channel Angular Pressing following two different routes plus a blank sample were examined with a neutron radiation of 1.5448 Å. Macrostrain maps from the (311) reflection were obtained. A clear difference about accumulated macrostrain with the extrusion cycles between the two routes is shown. The diffraction data of annealed specimens did permit to estimate crystallite sizes that range between 89 nm and 115 nm depending on the routes
Marginal Fermi liquid behavior from 2d Coulomb interaction
A full, nonperturbative renormalization group analysis of interacting
electrons in a graphite layer is performed, in order to investigate the
deviations from Fermi liquid theory that have been observed in the experimental
measures of a linear quasiparticle decay rate in graphite. The electrons are
coupled through Coulomb interactions, which remain unscreened due to the
semimetallic character of the layer. We show that the model flows towards the
noninteracting fixed-point for the whole range of couplings, with logarithmic
corrections which signal the marginal character of the interaction separating
Fermi liquid and non-Fermi liquid regimes.Comment: 7 pages, 2 Postscript figure
High redshift AGNs from the 1Jy catalogue and the magnification bias
We have found a statistically significant (99.1 \%) excess of red ()
galaxies with photographic magnitudes , taken from the APM Sky
Catalogue around radiosources from the 1Jy catalogue. The amplitude,
scale and dependence on galaxy colours of the observed overdensity are
consistent with its being a result of the magnification bias caused by the weak
gravitational lensing of large scale structures at redshift
and are hardly explained by other causes, as obscuration by dust.Comment: uuencoded file containing 3 ps files: the main text, a table and a

Impact of the Deficiency of Micronutrients on Patients with HIV/Aids
Introduction: HIV-AIDS is an infectious disease that damages the immune system, putting you at risk of serious infections and certain types of cancer. Micronutrient deficiency varies widely, depending on the population and stage of the disease. It can contribute to the weakening of the immune state and the worsening of the physical condition. Objective: To identify through the collection of nutritional information the consequences produced by the lack of micronutrients in patients with HIV-AIDS. Methodology: It was carried out through bibliographic reviews, scientific articles in order to find true and proven information on the effect that micronutrient deficiency has on people with HIV/AIDS. Results: It is shown that clinical deficiencies of some nutrients occur rapidly in response to dietary deficiencies, malabsorption, or altered metabolism, while those nutrients that have reserves in the body take longer to deplete. Discussion: The acquired immunodeficiency virus that causes AIDS; is associated with weight loss due to malnutrition. There are foods that can counteract many of the symptoms of the patient with HIV/AIDS, hence the importance of their knowledge. Conclusion: Micronutrient deficiency influences the immune system, accentuating the immunodeficiency that leads to AIDS. People living with this disease should have a balanced diet with Vitamins A, B, zinc and iron to strengthen the immune system, these offer a safe and economical treatment to slow the progression of the infection.

Modeling Adaptation with Klaim
In recent years, it has been argued that systems and applications, in order to deal with their increasing complexity, should be able to adapt their behavior according to new requirements or environment conditions. In this paper, we present an investigation aiming at studying how coordination languages and formal methods can contribute to a better understanding, implementation and use of the mechanisms and techniques for adaptation currently proposed in the literature. Our study relies on the formal coordination language Klaim as a common framework for modeling some well-known adaptation techniques: the IBM MAPE-K loop, the Accord component-based framework for architectural adaptation, and the aspect- and context-oriented programming paradigms. We illustrate our approach through a simple example concerning a data repository equipped with an automated cache mechanism
Preliminary Results from the 96 Spanish Bottom Trawl Survey in the NAFO Regulatory Area for Divisions 3NO
As the last year a stratified-random bottom trawl survey was performed in NAFO Regulatory Area (Divisions 3NO) during May: 7th to 24th. The survey, wich covered offshore areas of the Grand Bank, was conducted following the sames procedures and the same vessel and gear of the 1995 survey (Paz, et al, 1995). The area and strata to be covered by the survey were based on the stratification charts and tables in Bishop (1994)
