Epistemologias situadas e engajadas no Sul: ações coletivas latino- americanas e novas propostas éticas e epistêmicas

1º Congresso Internacional Epistemologias do Sul: perspectivas críticas - 7 a 9 de novembro de 2016, realizada pela Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana (UNILA).Esta apresentação pretende compartilhar indagações e percursos de pesquisa que surgem do trabalho de articulação de vertentes teóricas e propostas ético- epistêmicas de ações coletivas em curso na América Latina. Essas reflexões fazem parte de pesquisas, ainda e fase de elaboração, 4 e também são fruto de experiência pedagógica recente na pós-graduação. No mesmo período que iniciava as pesquisas de pós- doutorado comecei a ministrar a disciplina “Epistemologias situadas e engajadas - corpos, contextos e políticas na produção de conhecimentos e futuros possíveis” junto ao Programa de Mestrado em Divulgação Científica e Cultural (MDCC/UNICAMP)

The use of the Problem Based Learning and podcast in the learning of the curricular component philosophy in high school

The issue that guided the development of this study was: Does the utilization of Problem Based Learning (PBL), involving the resolution of everyday problems and philosophical themes, presented in podcast format, potentialize the learning of Philosophy for high school students? Based on this research issue, the general objective was drawn: to analyze the potential of PBL and podcast media for the meaningful learning of the Philosophy component in High School. The instruments used for data collection were: a preliminary questionnaire with students, records made through Google docs, during the application of the seven steps of PBL, production and recording of podcasts and comments made to t hem. In addition, a self-assessment and peer assessment were carried out with the students, culminating in a round of conversation. An interview with the teacher was also carried out to analyze the process experienced. Data analysis was performed from two categories that emerged from the theoretical framework and data obtained. It was evidenced that, in the application of PBL combined with the construction of a podcast, in the discipline of Philosophy, in High School, students exercised their protagonism and learned to work collaboratively with their peers

Open Skies Agreement Between Brazil and the United States: Regulations, Alliances, Economic Impacts and a General Long Term Projection

This research has been developed based on the new United States and Brazil open skies agreement signed in 2018 with the goal to analyze regulations, alliances, economic impacts and a general long term projection. As a result, the model proposed indicates 14 potential new routes, 6 coming from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and 8 from other cities. The new routes create a new axis of air transport, with new direct flights programmed for the northeast, center-west and south regions. These new weekly frequencies allow an increase of 151 weekly frequencies between the two countries, going from the current 196 weekly frequencies to a total of 347, reaching a growth of 77% compared to the current levels. Based on the analysis of civil aviation market information between Brazil and the United States, the following proposals are consolidated and presented: investment in tourism promotion by the Ministry of Tourism of Brazil in the United States, investment in tourism promotion of the central and west coast of the United States in the Brazilian media and tour operators, facilitation of the North American visa process for Brazilians, concession of benefits and reduction of taxes on domestic flights (international feeders) and rapid analysis and approval of proposals for joint ventures between Brazilian and North American airlines

EDUCAÇÃO MORAL REAL PARA UMA JUVENTUDE VIRTUAL

The present article reflects young the moral attitude of front to the virtualenvironment. The reflection on our object of study imposes to define them who is thisyoung influenced for the virtual, present world in the pertaining to school banks, andalso demands that if it evaluates which the responsibility of the school in the formationof the technological being. As referencial theoretician we use Morin, for the definitionof the social being and Piaget, for the concepts of autonomy and heteronomia. Based inthese theories we initiate the field research observing one hundred young while theywere in two locus virtual: in the games and the InterNet. The choice for these locus wasgiven therefore has a bigger frequency of the virtual young in the same ones. As resultof our research we can perceive that during the computer games the young does notinteract, but has only one reactivity, therefore the determined relation action-reaction orsame adequacy has a limitation inputs that they necessarily generate always and outputs.It does not have an exchange situation that allows acting criticamente, making possiblea bidirecionalidade in the communication process, thus inexisting the interatividade,base for the desirable moral development: the autonomous worker. In relation to locusInterNet, that theoretically makes possible an interaction, therefore he has a reciprocalrelationship, what he exists, in he practises, it is the anonymity, blocking suchpossibility. Still in relation the InterNet one another negative aspect to point out is that itdoes not have conditions so that the procedures of construction of the moral autonomyif carry through, because the activities, the reactions already are foreseen in theprogramming.O presente artigo reflete a atitude moral de jovens frente ao ambiente virtual.A reflexão sobre nosso objeto de estudo impõe-nos definir quem é este joveminfluenciado pelo mundo virtual, presente nos bancos escolares, e exige também que seavalie qual a responsabilidade da escola na formação do ser tecnológico. Como referencialteórico utilizamos Morin, para a definição do ser social e Piaget, para os conceitos deautonomia e heteronomia. Baseados nestas teorias iniciamos a pesquisa de campoobservando cem jovens enquanto estavam em dois locus virtuais: nos jogos e na internet. Aescolha por estes locus deu-se pois há uma maior freqüência do jovem virtual nos mesmos.Como resultado de nossa pesquisa podemos perceber que durante os jogos de computadoros jovens não interagem, mas tem apenas uma reatividade, pois há uma limitação a relaçãoação-reação ou a adequação a inputs determinados que geram sempre e necessariamente osmesmos outputs. Não há uma situação de troca que permite o agir criticamente,possibilitando uma bidirecionalidade no processo de comunicação, inexistindo assim ainteratividade, base para o desenvolvimento moral desejável: o autônomo. Em relação aolocus internet, que teoricamente possibilita uma interação, pois há um relacionamentorecíproco, o que existe, na pratica, é o anonimato, bloqueando tal possibilidade. Ainda emrelação a internet um outro aspecto negativo a salientar é que não há condições para que osprocedimentos de construção da autonomia moral se realizem, porque as atividades, asreações já estão previstas na programação

Natural stings: selling distrust about vaccines on brazilian youtube

In this study, we investigate misinformation and disinformation (M&D) about vaccines using a case study approach to understand how M&D about vaccines circulate on YouTube in Portuguese, and who are the channels creating and disseminating this kind of content. The World Health Organization considered vaccine hesitation as one of the greatest threats to global health in 2019. Researchers associated this hesitation to a strengthening of the anti-vaccination movements, suggesting that social media is currently the main spreader of this position. YouTube increasingly becomes a matter of concern, since its recommendation system is identified as a promoter of misinformation and extreme content. Despite YouTube's statements, M&D about vaccines continue to be disseminated in videos in Portuguese, reaching a large audience. We found 52 videos containing M&D about vaccines. The main M&D were the claim of dangerous ingredients in vaccines, the defense of self-direction—freedom of choice, independent research—, the promotion of alternative health services, the myth that vaccines cause diseases, conspiracy theories, and the allegation of vaccine's severe collateral effects. We identified 39 brands advertising on 13 videos of our M&D sample. Although the YouTube Partner Program is an important source of income, the channels use different economic strategies, such as the selling of courses, and therapies and the use of fundraising platforms. We also found that alternative health channels spread distrust about traditional institutions to promote themselves as trusted sources for the audience and thereby profit with alternative health services5This research was funded in part by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation through Grant GBMF3834 and by the Alfred P. El rol estatal en sectores estratégicos. La industria naval pesada en Argentina y Brasil

El artículo se dedica al análisis del rol del Estado como uno de los elementos claves que explica la divergente trayectoria seguida por la industria naval en Argentina y Brasil. Se describe el desarrollo y evolución reciente del sector naval en ambos países, destacándose históricamente el origen, crecimiento y apogeo del sector, además de las transformaciones ocurridas a partir de la década de 1990. Por otra parte, se realiza un balance del papel de la intervención estatal en la dinámica adquirida por la industria naval de estos dos países latinoamericanos. El desarrollo de la industria naval en Argentina y Brasil presenta importantes similitudes en sus inicios, fundamentalmente en lo que respecta a las políticas estatales de promoción puestas en práctica, y algunas divergencias actuales entre las que sobresale el disímil rol de las empresas estatales de cada país en cuanto generadoras de la principal demanda del sector

Tecendo identidades abertas: a experiência do Laboratório de Comunicação Intercultural e suas redes na Panamazônia

Em 2006, teve início o programa de extensão universitária Laboratório de Comunicação Intercultural em Tefé (AM) que, em parceria com o coletivo Centro de Mídia Independente de Tefé, tem o objetivo de promover a comunicação horizontal. Com o tempo, a colaboração em rede aumentou com outras instituições, movimentos e coletivos do Médio Solimões e de outras regiões do Brasil e da Panamazônia. Este texto analisa essas experiências e suas dificuldades, dialogando com referências heterodoxas e propondo o conceito de “identidades abertas” para pensar táticas de promoção da dialogicidade, interculturalidade e construção do bem viver

As performances da rádio Xibé e a metáfora do espectro

Resumo crítico sobre a tese "Inventando autonomias no Médio Solimões: uma etnografia dialógica da rádio Xibé e suas redes", defendida no Museu Nacional da UFRJ em 2015. Aborda a trajetória do pesquisador, a formulação de uma antropologia dialógica da mídia inspirada nas teorias pós-coloniais e na antropologia do colonialismo, a elaboração de um conceito de performance que ajuda a pensar a resistência nas práticas e narrativas dos participantes da rádio Xibé, a tecedura de uma narrativa polifônica da história da Xibé, a etnografia virtual das relações e percepções sobre a rádio por parte de militantes que interagiram com ela à distância pela internet, e a revisão crítica da história do rádio e da sua importância nas lutas contemporâneas por autonomia.
