Current women playwrights and stage-side written theatre in Spain: El meu avi no va a Cuba, by Victoria Szpunberg

Desde la llegada de la democracia se han producido cambios en el sistema teatral que han afectado a las formas de entender la autoría dramática. En el caso concreto de las dramaturgas, es posible observar que las generaciones nacidas a partir de 1960 cuentan con una mayor formación y profesionalización escénica que sus predecesoras y compaginan la escritura con la dirección de escena, la interpretación y/o la producción teatral. Una de las peculiaridades de los nuevos modelos de autoría teatral reside en la interacción entre la labor de escritura y la creación escénica, que se ha visto promovida por iniciativas como el Projecte T6 del TNC, el ETC de la Sala Cuarta Pared o «Escritos en escena» del CDN. Como ejemplo de este modelo de escritura escénica, analizo El meu avi no va a Cuba, de Victoria Szpunberg, en el contexto de un teatro transcultural y de indagación ética y formal.Since the arrival of democracy, changes on the theatre system have affected the way we understand theatrical authorship in Spain. In the case of women playwrights, it is possible to observe that the generations who were born after 1960 have a deeper scenic education and professionalisation than their predecessors and combine writing with their work as directors, actors and/or production managers. One of the peculiarities of the new model of theatrical authorship lies in the interaction between the dramatic writing process and the stage, which has been promoted by initiatives such as the TNC’s Projecte T6, the ETC of the Sala Cuarta Pared or «Escritos en la escena» of the CDN. La ficción explorativa en la filmografía de Christopher Nolan

El estudio aborda el filme Interstellar (2014), del director británico Christopher Nolan, desde la perspectiva narratológica de la “ficción explorativa” aplicada al Séptimo Arte. Para ello se consideran desde el punto de vista del género tres hitos en la filmografía del cineasta: se trata de Memento (2000), Origen (2010) y la citada Interstellar, filme este último en el que la optatividad del relato implica al espectador. Fanny y Alexander como recurso didáctico para la lectura de Shakespeare en el aula

El presente estudio recoge una propuesta didáctica para trabajar en el aula, de forma independiente pero complementaria a la programación, la lectura del célebre Hamlet de William Shakespeare a través del visionado de la película de Ingmar Bergman Fanny y Alexander —1982—, considerada una de las obras maestras de la historia del cine. Solo desde la profunda imbricación de este cineasta con el arte teatral puede comprenderse la trascendencia que adquiere el Príncipe de Dinamarca en la vida de los dos niños protagonistas del filme. En este orden de cosas, la interrelación literatura/cine —o viceversa— se presenta como un recurso didáctico de primera magnitud para acercar a los alumnos no solo a unos conocimientos literarios que el currículo deja al descubierto, sino también a una cultura audiovisual que cada vez cobra mayor protagonismo en el mundo que nos rodea.This study includes a teaching strategy for working in class, independently but complementary to the programming, the reading of the famous Hamlet by William Shakespeare through the viewing of Ingmar Bergman’s film Fanny and Alexander —1982—, considered one of the masterpieces in History of Cinema. Only from the profound interweaving of this filmmaker with the theatrical art you can understand the significance acquired by the Prince of Denmark in the lives of the two children who have the leading role in the film. In this vein, the interdisciplinary relationship Literature/Cinema —or vice versa— is presented as a teaching resource of prime importance for bringing pupils not only a literary knowledge which the curriculum does not provide, but also a media culture that has an increasing role in the world around us

Rayman: Interoperability use of Meteorological Observation

The observation of atmospheric phenomena enables generating of knowledge about the weather and meteors occurrence in a region. When this information is georeferenced it becomes useful for a great number of professional and public activities in the field of e.g. building, infrastructures, aeronautics, biota, tourism, agriculture and energy. At the present time access to that information is limited. Few meteorological agencies apply geo-Standards, hindering the development of GIS tools for monitoring, threshold alerts and decision support helping. This work describes how public agencies publish meteorological data and the solution developed at the Spanish Electrical Network (REE) to store the information provided by the Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET). The implemented solution enables the access to the weather observations collected by the meteorological agency and the rays captured by the detection network in a interoperable way and the exploitation, by as well a desktop GIS capable of connecting with Oracle-Spatial database as through the interfaces of the OGC standardized services (WMS, WFS and SOS)

Femtosecond laser thinning for resistivity control of tungsten ditelluride thin-films synthesized from sol-gel deposited tungsten oxide

In this work we present a route for fabricating WTe2 thin-films together with femtosecond laser post processing, enabling to finely control the conductivity. First, we produce amorphous films of WO3 on Si by spin-coating a sol-gel precursor followed by a consolidating annealing and a reduction process in partial H2 atmosphere, leading to porous metallic tungsten cluster layers. To achieve WTe2, the films were exposed to the chalcogen vapours by isothermal closed space vapor transport. The formation of a tungsten ditelluride film composed of piled crystals could be confirmed and a gradient of surface rich Te identified through hard X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Finally, it is demonstrated that resistivity can be changed from 0.2 mΩ.m to 1 mΩ.m, while keeping the material characteristics. An anisotropic conductivity can be induced by direct selective thinning with fs laser writing (350 fs pulse duration, 515 nm laser wavelength) of 1D stripes. La transición energética de China : perfiles y propulsores internos

China está pasando, desde principios de los años noventa, por lo que puede calificarse como una transición energética. El creciente aprovisionamiento de hidrocarburos en los mercados internacionales es quizás el rasgo más llamativo de esta transformación, por lo que el análisis del sistema energético chino frecuentemente conduce a estudios de geoestrategia. En este trabajo se analizan, por una parte, los rasgos que caracterizan la transición energética china -y no sólo la dependencia de mercados exteriores de petróleo- destacando (/cuatro) líneas de continuidad con el esquema tradicional y (siete) líneas de ruptura con dicho esquema. Por otra parte, se estudia la influencia determinante que sobre esos cambios energéticos estén ejerciendo tres rasgos de la actual fase de desarrollo: i) el fuerte crecimiento y la transformación de la especialización industrial, ii)el impulso de los transportes y iii) las nuevas pautas sociales derivadas del proceso de urbanización y de los hábitos de consumo. Por tanto, si éstos fueran en efecto los factores propulsores de la transición energética y si persistieran en el tiempo, cabría esperar la continuidad de las tendencias actuales de la transición energética, incluyendo la creciente dependencia de mercados exteriores.______________________________Since the beginning of the 1990s, China has been undergoing what could be termed as an energy transition. The increasing provisioning of hydrocarbon in international markets is perhaps the most striking feature of this transformation. Therefore, analysis of the Chinese energy system frequently leads to geostrategic studies. In this article we analyze, on the one hand, the features that define the energy transition in China –not exclusively its dependence on foreign oil markets– highlighting (four) continuities and (seven) ruptures with the traditional scheme. On the other hand, we study the relation between those energy transformations and three elements of China’s current development phase: i) strong growth and changes in industrial specialization, ii) transportation expansion, and iii) new social patterns deriving from urbanization and consumption habits. Therefore, if these three elements of development actually are drivers for China’s energy transition and if they persist, the current features of the energy transition, including the growing dependence on external markets, will prevail in the near future

Norms and genres?: performativity in Judith Butler and cyberfeminist theory

[Resumen] El presente trabajo intenta realizar un paralelismo entre la concepción de la performatividad del género en Judtih Butler, y cómo es comprendida, analizada y/o materializada por grupos, sectores, asociaciones, artístas, activistas y teóricas o teóricos ciberfeministas. El punto de partida en esta reflexión es el de la teórica de género basada en la parodia y la performatividad de Butler. Posteriormente se lleva a cabo un análisis comparativo entre, la teórica de la performatividad y la parodia de género y la teoría/práctica ciberfeminista.Se citará en esta comparativa a la ontología Cyborg (Haraway), a la significación semiótico-social del Net.art -o Net art- y el activismo social web de grupos y activistas ciberfeministas.La finalidad de esta aproximación exploratoria no es otra que la de analizar la si la teoría, en este trabajo expuesta, puede materializarse en la cibersociedad.El escenario social virtual precisa de una metodología como la etnografía digital -inductiva-, utilizando el análisis de contenidos y del discurso cualitativo como técnicas. Los objetos de estudio son obras Naet art, comics online, vídeos ciberfeministas y webs temáticas. Muestra intencional estratégica que nos permite ver cómo la teoría en este trabajo se materializa en la cibersociedad[Abstract] This paper to draw a parallelism between the conception of gender performativity in Judith Butler and how it is understood, analyzed and / or come true by cyberfeminist groups, associations, artists, activists and theoreticians. The starting point in this reflection is the gender theoric based on Butler's parody and performativity. Subsequently a comparative analysis between the performativity theory and the gender parody and the cyberfeminist theory / practice is carried out. In this comparison, the Cyborg ontology (Haraway, 1995), the social-semiotic significance of Net.art-or Net art-and the social activism of cyberfeminist groups and activists will be cited. The purpose of this exploratory approach is to analyze if the theory in this work exposed, can materialize in cybersociety analisated. The virtual social scenario requires a methodology such as digital ethnography, using content analysis and qualitative discourse as techniques. The objects of study are Net art works, online comics, cyberfeminist videos and themed websites. Strategic intentional sample that allows us to see how the theory in this work materializes in cybersociety

Implementing the EHEA in the Spanish University: a case study on the use of methodologies 2.0 in new degrees.

La implantación del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES) supone un reto para la universidad española. Supone la utilización de nuevas metodologías docentes por profesores y alumnos no habituados a las mismas. Este artículo muestra el resultado del uso de metodologías participativas y de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones (TIC) en algunas asignaturas de los nuevos títulos de grado. En concreto, se analiza el uso de blogs y wikis en la adquisición de competencias básicas y específicas, y en su posterior evaluación. El artículo concluye discutiendo las potencialidades y dificultades del uso de estas metodologías.The implementation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) represents a challenge for the Spanish university. It involves the use of new teaching methods by teachers and students that are not used to them. This paper shows the result of using participatory methodologies and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in some subjects of the new degrees. Specifically, it discusses the use of blogs and wikis in the acquisition of basic and specific skills, and its further evaluation. The paper concludes by discussing the potential and pitfalls of using these methodologies
