Salud pública y multiculturalidad: inmunización poblacional y seguridad alimenticia

En sociedades multiculturales caracterizadas por una significativa pluralidad de grupos religiosos, el ejercicio de la libertad religiosa puede entrar en colisión con las normas que pretenden garantizar y proteger la salud pública. Dos ámbitos resultan especialmente relevantes en esta temática. En primer lugar, la inmunización de la población y las objeciones de conciencia a la vacunación que se suscitan por parte de determinados colectivos religiosos. Y, en segundo lugar, la confrontación de determinadas prescripciones alimenticias religiosas con las normas que pretenden garantizar la seguridad alimentaria y el bienestar animal. La motivació del mestre i de l'alumne, des de la pedagogia agustiniana

La motivació és un dels elements per excel·lència de l'educació convertint- se en la ferramenta essencial per a aconseguir que l'alumne o el receptor aconseguisca comprendre el que escolta per a obtindre el tan gastat aprenentatge significatiu. Trobem nombroses definicions que conclouen a dir que en la motivació influïxen tant factors o variables personals com contextuals. Tractant-se, doncs, d'un element essencial en l'educació hem volgut tornar la nostra mirada als segles iv i v i, més concretament, al pedagog, teòleg, filòsof i mestre de retòrica Sant Agustí de Hipona. Els motius que ens han portat a fixar-nos en esta figura és per la seua aportació al desenrotllament i a la fonamentació, que nombrosos investigadors defenen, al món occidental. Potser un dels aspectes menys coneguts de l'hiponense siga el de l'educació i, especialment, el de les qualitats que definixen un bon mestre des de la pedagogia augustiniana. Hem pretés realitzar esta reflexió completant i analitzant les propostes que apareixen en els escrits de les seues principals obres pedagògiques per a contrastar-les amb les valoracions més recents que es tenen sobre el terme motivació. Thirty Years without a Register for gametes donors and still waiting

En este estudio planteamos la necesidad de un registro de donantes de gametos y presentamos las claves de por qué no existe aún en España un registro de estas características. Frente a las consecuencias negativas que se pueden derivar de la inexistencia de este tipo de registro, reflexionamos sobre la conveniencia y oportunidad de crear una red de registros de donantes para la medicina del siglo XXIIn this study it is stated the idea that a register for gametes donors is necessary and we identify the key points explaining why such a register does not exist in Spain. Business Process Management for optimizing clinical processes: A systematic literature review

Business Process Management is a new strategy for process management that is having a major impact today. Mainly, its use is focused on the industrial, services, and business sector. However, in recent years, it has begun to apply for optimizing clinical processes. So far, no studies that evaluate its true impact on the healthcare sector have been found. This systematic review aims to assess the results of the application of Business Process Management methodology on clinical processes, analyzing whether it can become a useful tool to improve the effectiveness and quality of processes. We conducted a systematic literature review using ScienceDirect, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and Springer databases. After the electronic search process in different databases, 18 articles met the pre-established requirements. The findings support the use of Business Process Management as an effective methodology to optimize clinical processes. Business Process Management has proven to be a feasible and useful methodology to design and optimize clinical processes, as well as to automate tasks. However, a more comprehensive follow-up of this methodology, better technological support, and greater involvement of all the clinical staff are factors that play a key role for the development of its true potential.This work was supported by the Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad of the Spanish Government (ref. Percepción social de acoso sexual en el trabajo

The sexual harassment in the work, is a social phenomenon that is going out to the light in the last years. The statistics inform about the shortage of denunciations that they take place in spite of being a phenomenon that every time becomes more visible in our company. The aim of the present study is to analyze the perception and information that exists related to the phenomenon of the sexual harassment as relevant variable for the accomplishment of programs of prevention both in professional futures and in the professionals who form a part of a job environment. One administered a questionnaire to a sample of 65 pupils / aces of the Qualifications of Psychology and 15 pupils / aces of the University of Huelva, and 44 persons who are immersed in the labour world. The results indicate lack of formation and information about the phenomenon of the sexual harassment as well as of awareness specially towards the victim.El acoso sexual en el trabajo, es un fenómeno social que está saliendo a la luz en los últimos años. Las estadísticas informan sobre la escasez de denuncias que se producen a pesar de ser un fenómeno que cada vez se hace más visible en nuestra sociedad. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar la percepción e información que existe relacionado con el fenómeno del acoso sexual como variable relevante para la realización de programas de prevención tanto en futuros profesionales como en los profesionales que forman parte de un entorno laboral. Se administró un cuestionario a una muestra de 65 alumnos/as de la Titulación de Psicología y 15 alumnos/as de la Titulación de Ciencias del Trabajo de la Universidad de Huelva, y 44 personas que se encuentran inmersos en el mundo laboral. Los resultados indican falta de formación e información sobre el fenómeno del acoso sexual así como de sensibilización especialmente hacia la víctima

Meloe (Mesomeloe) coelatus Reiche, 1857 (Coleoptera: Meloidae): first record for the fauna of Qatar and COI mtDNA data

We report the discovery of the blister beetle, Meloe coelatus Reiche, 1957, in Qatar. According to the Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera there is no record for the genus Meloe in Qatar, although the genus is well represented in other areas of the Arabian Peninsula. M. coelatus is a rare species, that is present along a wide area of Northern Africa and Western Asia. Our findings bridge the current geographic gap in the known distribution of the species from Saudi Arabia to Iran. We believe the Coleoptera fauna of Qatar might be underestimated. A thorough field survey is recommended in order to document the presence of other species of this family, and also to complete the catalogue of Coleoptera for the State of Qatar.We also thank the constructive comments of the reviewers. Tractant-se, doncs, d’un element essencial en l’educació hem volgut tornar la nostra mirada als segles IV i V i, més concretament, al pedagog, teòleg, flòsof i mestre de retòrica Sant Agustí de Hipona. Els motius que ens han portat a fxar-nos en esta fgura és per la seua aportació al desenrotllament i a la fonamentació, que nombrosos investigadors defenen, al món occidental. Potser un dels aspectes menys coneguts de l’hiponense siga el de l’educació i, especialment, el de les qualitats que defnixen un bon mestre des de la pedagogia augustiniana. Tratándose, pues, de un elemento esencial en la educación es importante volver nuestra mirada a los siglos IV y V y, más concretamente, al pedagogo, teólogo, flósofo y maestro de retórica San Agustín de Hipona. Los motivos que nos han llevado a fjarnos en esta fgura es por su aportación al desarrollo y a la fundamentación, que numerosos investigadores defenden, al mundo occidental. Quizás uno de los aspectos menos conocidos del hiponense sea el de la educación y, especialmente, el de las cualidades que defnen a un buen maestro desde la pedagogía agustiniana. Se pretende realizar esta refexión completando y analizando las propuestas que aparecen en los escritos de sus principales obras pedagógicas para contrastarlas con las valoraciones más recientes que se tienen sobre el término motivación. Comprobaremos que existe una gran conexión con este concepto entre investigadores más recientes, la incipiente neuroeducación y la visión pedagógica agustinana de su época lo que nos dice que los elementosque componen el acto educativo ya se trabajaban en los siglos IV y V.Motivation is one of the most important elements in education becoming in an essential tool for the student or the receiver to get understand what is he hearing to achieve meaningful learning. We found many concepts that conclude in saying that the motivation is infuenced by personal and contextual variables. To analyse this essential element in education we are going to refect including the concept of motivation at the IV and V centuries and, more specifcally, the pedagogue, theologian, philosopher and teacher of rhetoric Saint Augustine. The main reason is for his contribution to development and to the foundation, that many researchers argue, to the Western world. Perhaps one of the least known aspects of the Bishop of Hipona is the education and especially about the qualities that defne a good teacher from the augustinian pedagogy. We have tried to make this refection completing and analyzing the proposals contained in the writings of its main works to contrast them with the most recent works that are taken on the motivation term. We fnd that there is a great connection with this concept among latest researchers, neuroeducation emergin theory and Augustine’s pedagogical vision of his time which tells us that this element of the education already was being worked in the fourth and ffth centuries too.Educació
