The Higgs Sector and electron electric dipole moment in next-to-minimal supersymmetry with explicit CP violation
We study the explicit CP violation of the Higgs sector in the
next--to--minimal supersymmetric model with a gauge singlet Higgs field. Our
numerical predictions show that electric dipole moment of electron lies around
the present experimental upper limits. The mass of the lightest Higgs boson is
quite sensitive to the CP violating phases in the theory. It is observed that
as the vacuum expectation value of the singlet gets higher values, CP violation

Financial Innovation, the Discovery of Risk, and the U.S. Credit Crisis
Financial innovation and overconfidence about asset values and the riskiness of new financial products were important factors behind the U.S. credit crisis. We show that a boom-bust cycle in debt, asset prices and consumption characterizes the equilibrium dynamics of a model with a collateral constraint in which agents learn \by observation" the true riskiness of a new financial environment. Early realizations of states with high ability to leverage assets into debt turn agents overly optimistic about the persistence probability of a high-leverage regime. Conversely, the first realization of a low-leverage state turns agents unduly pessimistic about future credit prospects. These effects interact with the Fisherian deflation mechanism, resulting in changes in debt, leverage, and asset prices larger than predicted under either rational expectations without learning or with learning but without Fisherian deflation. The model predicts a large, sustained increase in net household debt and in residential land prices between 1997 and 2006, followed by a sharp collapse in 2007.
Two-color QCD at high density
QCD at high chemical potential has interesting properties such as
deconfinement of quarks. Two-color QCD, which enables numerical simulations on
the lattice, constitutes a laboratory to study QCD at high chemical potential.
Among the interesting properties of two-color QCD at high density is the
diquark condensation, for which we present recent results obtained on a finer
lattice compared to previous studies. The quark propagator in two-color QCD at
non-zero chemical potential is referred to as the Gor'kov propagator. We
express the Gor'kov propagator in terms of form factors and present recent

Evanescent incompressible strips as origin of the observed Hall resistance overshoot
In this work we provide a systematic explanation to the unusual non-monotonic
behavior of the Hall resistance observed at two-dimensional electron systems.
We use a semi-analytical model based on the interaction theory of the integer
quantized Hall effect to investigate the existence of the anomalous, \emph{i.e}
overshoot, Hall resistance . The observation of the overshoot resistance
at low magnetic field edge of the plateaus is elucidated by means of
overlapping evanescent incompressible strips, formed due to strong magnetic
fields and interactions. Utilizing a self-consistent numerical scheme we also
show that, if the magnetic field is decreased the decreases to its
expected value. The effects of the sample width, temperature, disorder strength
and magnetic field on the overshoot peaks are investigated in detail. Based on
our findings, we predict a controllable procedure to manipulate the maxima of
the peaks, which can be tested experimentally. Our model does not depend on
specific and intrinsic properties of the material, provided that a single

B_s ---> \gamma \gamma decay in the model III and 3HDM(O_2) with CP violating effects
We analyse the CP asymmetry for B_{s} -->\gamma\gamma in the two Higgs
doublet model with tree level flavor changing currents (model III) and three
Higgs doublet model with O_2 symmetry in the Higgs sector, including O_{7} type
long distance effects. Further, we study the dependencies of the branching
ratio Br(B_{s} --> \gamma\gamma)$ and the ratio of CP-even and CP-odd amplitude
squares, R=|A^{+}|^2/|A^{-}|^2, on the CP parameter sin \theta. We found that,
there is a weak CP asymmetry, at the order of 10^{-4}. Besides, the branching
ratio Br(B_{s} --> \gamma\gamma), and also R ratio, is not sensitive to the CP
parameter for |\frac{\bar{\xi}^{U}_{N,tt}}{\bar{\xi}^{D}_{N,bb}}|<1.Comment: 17 pages, 11 figure

Dominant currency paradigm†
We propose a “dominant currency paradigm” with three key features: dominant currency pricing, pricing complementarities, and imported inputs in production. We test this paradigm using a new dataset of bilateral price and volume indices for more than 2,500 country pairs that covers 91 percent of world trade, as well as detailed firm-product-country data for Colombian exports and imports. In strong support of the paradigm we find that (i) noncommodities terms-of-trade are uncorrelated with exchange rates; (ii) the dollar exchange rate quantitatively dominates the bilateral exchange rate in price pass-through and trade elasticity regressions, and this effect is increasing in the share of imports invoiced in dollars; (iii) US import volumes are significantly less sensitive to bilateral exchange rates, compared to other countries’ imports; (iv) a 1 percent US dollar appreciation against all other currencies predicts a 0.6 percent decline within a year in the volume of total trade between countries in the rest of the world, controlling for the global business cycle. We characterize the transmission of, and spillovers from, monetary policy shocks in this environment
B_{s,d}\to \gamma\gamma decay in the model with one universal extra dimension
We estimate the beyond the Standard Model (SM) contribution to the B_{s,d}
\to \gamma\gamma double radiative decay in the framework of the model with one
universal extra dimension. This contribution gives a \sim 3 (6)% enhancement of

The Topological Unitarity Identities in Chern-Simons Theories
Starting from the generating functional of the theory of relativistic spinors
in 2+1 dimensions interacting through the pure Chern-Simons gauge field, the
S-matrix is constructed and seen to be formally the same as that of spinor
quantum electrodynamics in 2+1 dimensions with Feynman diagrams having external
photon lines excluded, and with the propagator of the topological Chern-Simons
photon substituted for the Maxwell photon propagator. It is shown that the
absence of real topological photons in the complete set of vector states of the
total Hilbert space leads in a given order of perturbation theory to
topological unitarity identities that demand the vanishing of the
gauge-invariant sum of the imaginary parts of Feynman diagrams with a given
number of internal on-shell free topological photon lines. It is also shown,
that these identities can be derived outside the framework of perturbation
theory. The identities are verified explicitly for the scattering of a
