An approach to the study of Content Management Systems for their significance since they are a key sector in the current Information Society. A CMS is an integrated website which allows the full realization of the documentation process, i.e. the acquisition, development, and dissemination of information in digital format, and of course permits communication between all users of the system. Furthermore, it allows content management to be carried out uniformly, and in an easily, accessible and user-friendly way. Since the adoption of the Bachelor's Degree in Information and Documentation by ANECA and its incorporation into faculties around Spain CMSs have become part of our University, their purview including the aforementioned qualification in the training of librarians, archivists, documentalists, and, for the first time, content managers
A small set of five dirhams from the Emirate period is presented, located inside the late rural church of El Rebollar (El Boalo, Madrid). This ecclesiastical building can be dated from the grave goods of the tombs and from the C14 analysis applied to the bone samples from the individuals buried between the second half of the viith century and the beginning of the viiith century. The coins have a closing date that refers to the period of government of al-Hakam I (180-206 h./ad 796-822). The study of this numismatic set in its context, the reading without difficulty of the legends which allow us to deduce variations in the coins and the analysis of their composition, which we present in this study, provide data which contribute to a better understanding of the production and circulation of emerald money in the central area of the Iberian Peninsula.

Providing an in vitro depiction of microglial cells challenged with immunostimulatory extracellular vesicles of Naegleria fowleri
Naegleria fowleri is the causative agent of primary amoebic meningoencephalitis,
a rapid and acute infection of the central nervous system with a fatal outcome
in >97% of cases. Due to the infrequent report of cases and diagnostic gaps that
hinder the possibility of recovering clinic isolates, studies related to pathogenesis
of the disease are scarce. However, the secretion of cytolytic molecules has
been proposed as a factor involved in the progression of the infection. Several
of these molecules could be included in extracellular vesicles (EVs), making
them potential virulence factors and even modulators of the immune response
in this infection. In this work, we evaluated the immunomodulatory effect of
EVs secreted by two clinic isolates of Naegleria fowleri using in vitro models.
For this purpose, characterization analyses between EVs produced by both
isolates were first performed, for subsequent gene transcription analyses post
incubation of these vesicles with primary cultures from mouse cell microglia
and BV-2 cells. Analyses of morphological changes induced in primary culture
microglia cells by the vesicles were also included, as well as the determination
of the presence of nucleic acids of N. fowleri in the EV fractions. Results revealed
increased expression of NOS, proinflammatory cytokines IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-23,
and the regulatory cytokine IL-10 in primary cultures of microglia, as well as
increased expression of NOS and IL-13 in BV-2 cells. Morphologic changes from
homeostatic microglia, with small cellular body and long processes to a more
amoeboid morphology were also observed after the incubation of these cells
with EVs. Regarding the presence of nucleic acids, specific Naegleria fowleri
DNA that could be amplified using both conventional and qPCR was confirmed
in the EV fractions. Altogether, these results confirm the immunomodulatory
effects of EVs of Naegleria fowleri over microglial cells and suggest a potential
role of these vesicles as biomarkers of primary acute meningoencephalitis.

In this work we present the results of pollen analysis of the Medieval archaeological site of Navalvillar (7th-8th centuries AD; Colmenar Viejo, Madrid). The site is a Visigoth rural village on the southern slopes of the Guadarrama range. The results demonstrate the existence of a dehesa landscape with cattle vocation, very plentiful of anthropozoogenous taxa and coprophilous fungi related to such activity. Economic activities of this site within the Visigoth settlement in Madrid are discussed. Exploring Honeybee Abdominal Anatomy through Micro-CT and Novel Multi-Staining Approaches
Continuous improvements in morphological and histochemical analyses of Apis mellifera
could improve our understanding of the anatomy and physiology of these insects at both the cellular
and tissue level. In this work, two different approaches have been performed to add new data on the
abdomen of worker bees: (i) Micro-computed tomography (Micro-CT), which allows the identification
of small-scale structures (micrometers) with adequate/optimal resolution and avoids sample damage
and, (ii) histochemical multi-staining with Periodic Acid-Schiff-Alcian blue, Lactophenol-Saphranin
O and pentachrome staining to precisely characterize the histological structures of the midgut
and hindgut. Micro-CT allowed high-resolution imaging of anatomical structures of the honeybee
abdomen with particular emphasis on the proventriculus and pyloric valves, as well as the connection
of the sting apparatus with the terminal abdominal ganglia. Furthermore, the histochemical analyses
have allowed for the first-time description of ventricular telocytes in honeybees, a cell type located
underneath the midgut epithelium characterized by thin and long cytoplasmic projections called
telopodes. Overall, the analysis of these images could help the detailed anatomical description of
the cryptic structures of honeybees and also the characterization of changes due to abiotic or biotic
stress conditions.Spanish Government PGC2018-098929-A-I
Professional development of the students of Pedagogy through the practices
de 30 alumnos/as, 16 profesores/as académicos, así como 26 tutores/as profesionalesUniversity teachers have to train professionals to perform a social function and
the practical component of the curriculum plays a leading role, therefore, the practices
and the Practicum play a key role in the development of skills of our pupils that allows
them the transference and mobilization of the knowledge acquired to work situations.
Based on these considerations, we have developed a project in which we have
involved the Department of Didactics and Educational Organization and to the
Department of Theory and History of the Education and Social Pedagogy; continuing
the work of coordination initiated between the University and the centers of practices
within the Own Plan of Teaching Innovation and educational improvement during
course 2008/09, with the aim of improving the development of the Practicum. The
project has been developed through pupils who have taken the subject denominated
“Practicum II” of Pedagogy during his period of practices, under the guidance of the
academic professors of these departments and in coordination with the professional
tutors of the centers where the pupils develop his practices; taking part in the study a
total of 30 students, 16 professors, as well as 26 professional tutors
