Well-Founded Fear in International Refugee Law: A Feminist Approach
International Refugee Law, as a matter of human rights, is in continuous evolution. This article aims to capture what the main advances in gender human rights have been in the regime of well-founded fear of persecution that is entitled by the 1951 Geneva Convention on the Status of Refugees. Thus, this article will expose what is the classic literature around the conceptualization of the well-founded fear of persecution, including what the iusfeminist critical doctrine has contributed. Subsequently, it will be shown how to improve the evaluation process of the two elements that make up the well-founded fear of persecution, namely the subjective and objective elements. Followed by a detail of the main stumbling blocks that such an evaluation has in terms of gender blindness. Finally, this article will venture to make some legal proposals to overcome such gaps
CALI, CALICO, CALT, CAT, CBT, CMC o
robots. The main focus of this paper is on the advancement
of technologies in Computer-Assisted Language
Learning (CALL) from a historical perspective.
The review starts by defining CALL and its related
terminology, highlighting the first CALL attempts
in 1950s and 1960s, and then moving to other
decades of mainframes and microcomputers.
At the final step, emerging technologies in 21st
century will be reviewed

Acidification of musts in warm regions with tartaric acid and calcium sulfate at industrial scale
Acidification of musts is necessary in warm areas where high temperatures during ripening accelerate breathing combustion
of tartaric acid and, in particular, malic acid in the berries. L(+) tartaric acid, L(-) or D,L malic acid and lactic acids are
the only chemical acidifiers authorized by the OIV and European Community regulations. The use of calcium sulfate (gypsum:
CaSO4·2H2O) is also authorized in the European Community as a complementary acidifier in generous and generous liquor
wines from Spain (a practice known as plastering), provided that the residual sulfate content in the wine does not exceed 2.5 g/L
expressed as potassium sulfate. However, this practice is not yet approved by OIV. To predict the effect on pH of different acidifiers,
several chemical modeling approaches have been described in the literature, in particular a simplified model where the
acidity of wine is considered to be due to a monoprotic acid. The aim of this work is to verify this model at pilot and industrial scale in the acidification of musts with tartaric and calcium sulfate, added either individually and in combination, using doses up to 3 g/L and to study the modifications that these practices produce on the compositions of the resulting wines. This work supplies useful information to study this practice in OIV in order to consider its approval
Does video self-analysis influence pre-service language teachers’ position within CLIL settings?
Positioning theory helps to understand pre-service teachers’ performance and their professional identity. In the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach, studying teachers’ praxis from the positioning theory is relevant as integrating language and content is problematic for both in-service and pre-service teachers. Moreover, positioning theory could help teachers understand their teaching position. Video technology, as a valuable tool for teacher training, facilitates teachers’ analysis of their own teaching praxis and more importantly, it can help develop teaching awareness. However, scarce literature is found on how video-analysis from the positioning theory may benefit teachers in CLIL contexts. The objective of this paper is to analyse the influence of self video-analysis on pre-service teachers’ positions within CLIL settings. To conduct this research, pre-service teachers recorded and analysed a simulated CLIL lesson. Interviews were designed and administered to know the influence of video on participating teachers’ positions. Video supported pre-service teachers noticing their praxis and the meaning of CLIL while operating changes on their positions. Knowing the evolution of pre-service teachers’ positioning may contribute to, on the one hand, understanding professional identity and, on the other hand, to implement video-technology actions in pre-service programmes to support pre-service teachers’ noticing.
Colour Changes of Acetal Resins (CAD-CAM) In Vivo
To quantify the discolouration of the temporary acetal resins in vivo, based on the weeks
of follow-up and the salivary pH in the three thirds of the tooth. To find out if the final CIELAB
coordinates can be predicted from the initial colour coordinates, the salivary pH, the situation (in
thirds) and the weeks of follow-up. Colour coordinates (L, C, and h) were recorded by spectrophotometry
in 13 participants fitted with hybrid provisional complete dentures made of acetal resin.
Colour recordings were made on the day of placement and after several weeks of follow-up (6 to
31 weeks). Salivary pH was also measured as a predictor variable for colour change. The ANOVA
statistical test and regression models have been used. The highest colour difference according to
DEab* was 27.46 units after 15 weeks of follow-up and the lowest was 7.34 units after 17 weeks of
follow-up. Neither in the cervical nor in the middle third any regressor variable (initial L*, initial C*,
initial h*, salivary pH and weeks of follow-up) was able to significantly predict any of the final colour
coordinates (p > 0.05). The colour change of the temporary acetal resins used exceeds the threshold
of clinical acceptability, and it is not acceptable to maintain satisfactory aesthetics. The weeks of
follow-up and the salivary pH are not capable of satisfactorily predicting the final color coordinates
of the acetal resins
