Reinforced concrete structure of a cottage

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem monolitické železobetonové nosné konstrukce rekreačního objektu a posouzením vybraných nosných částí konstrukce. Objekt je osazen ve svahu. Všechny nosné části konstrukce jsou vzájemně provázány a tvoří tak tuhý celek. Výpočet účinku zatížení byl proveden pomocí softwaru SCIA Engineer 18.1. Vybrané nosné části konstrukce byly posouzeny na mezní stav únosnosti a mezní stav použitelnosti pomocí tabulkového editoru MS Excel. Konečným výstupem je výkresová dokumentace posuzovaných nosných částí konstrukce.The bachelor thesis deals with design of a monolithic bearing structure recreational object and the assessment of selected bearing parts of the structure. The object is placed in the hillside. All bearing parts of the structure are interconnected and thus form a rigid unit. Calculation of load effect was made in SCIA Engineer 18.1. Selected bearing parts of the structure were assessed for the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state using the MS Excel spreadsheet editor. The final output is the drawing documentation of the assessed bearing parts of the structure.

Statics of load-bearing structures of a luxury villa

Úkolem diplomové práce je návrh a statické posouzení předpjaté stropní konstrukce a železobetonové stropní desky. Pro získání vnitřních sil byly vytvořeny modely v programu SCIA Engineer 18.1. Obě části stropní konstrukce byly posouzeny na mezní stav únosnosti a mezní stav použitelnosti. Na závěr práce byla zpracována výkresová dokumentace.The main goal for this thesis was a project and a statical assessment of a prestressed ceiling construction and an iron-concrete ceiling plate. For the gain of inner powers were created models in the program SCIA Engineer 18.1. Both of the parts of the thesis were judged to the limit state of capacity and to the limit state of applicability. As the finishing touch of the work was created a drawing documentation.

The STAP-study: The (cost) effectiveness of custom made orthotic insoles in the treatment for plantar fasciopathy in general practice and sports medicine: Design of a randomized controlled trial

Background: Plantar fasciopathy is a common cause of foot pain, accounting for 11 to 15 % of all foot symptoms requiring professional care in adults. Although many patients have complete resolution of symptoms within 12 months, many patients wish to reduce this period as much as possible. Orthotic devices are a frequently applied option of treatment in daily practice, despite a lack of evidence on the effectiveness. Therefore, the objective is to study the (cost)-effectiveness of custom made insoles by a podiatrist, compared to placebo insoles and usual care in patients with plantar fasciopathy in general practice and sports medicine clinics. Method/design: This study is a multi-center three-armed participant and assessor-blinded randomized controlled trial with 6-months follow-up. Patients with plantar fasciopathy, with a minimum duration of complaints of 2 weeks and aged between 18 and 65, who visit their general practitioner or sport physician are eligible for inclusion. A total of 185 patients will be randomized into three parallel groups. One group will receive usual care by the general practitioner or sports physician alone, one group will be referred to a podiatrist and will receive a custom made insole, and one group will be referred to a podiatrist and will receive a placebo insole. The primary outcome will be the change from baseline to 12 weeks follow-up in pain severity at rest and during activity on a 0-10 numerical rating scale (NRS). Students' awareness about Alzheimer's disease

Práce pojednává o informovanosti studentů o Alzheimerově chorobě. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definici Alzheimerovy nemoci, její příčiny, klinický obraz, diagnostiku a léčbu. Dále se zabývá možnostmi pomoci a podpory osobám s Alzheimerovou nemocí a informovaností. Ve výzkumné části je zpracován přehled o výsledcích dotazníkového šetření informovanosti studentů o Alzheimerově nemoci. Výzkum byl proveden u studentů oboru Zdravotně-sociální pracovník na dvou vysokých školách.This thesis examines the students' knowledge of Alzheimer's disease. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of Alzheimer's disease, its causes, a clinical picture, diagnostics and its treatment. Furthermore, it analyses possibilities of assistence and support for people with Alzheimer's disease and the awareness of the disease. The following research provides an overview of the survey findings concerning the students' knowledge of Alzheimer's disease. Common people and their awareness of the problematics of Alzheimer's disease

This thesis analyses the awareness of Alzheimer's disease among the lay public. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on definition of Alzheimer's disease, is dedicated to Alzheimer's disease in context of social work and in context of awareness. The research part itself includes goals, hypotheses, methodology and presents the results of the questionnaire survey. The final part includes discussion and the conclusion. The goal of the thesis was to find out the extent of awareness of Alzheimer's disease in Jihlava. For evaluation of extent of awareness the range of its evaluation was formed, on whose base a good extent of awareness was found out. The research group consisted of lay public of age 18-40 years in Jihlava. In total 384 respondents participated in this research. One of the goals was to propose some countermeasures to increase awareness of the disease among the public in Jihlava. One of the results of this thesis is a crossword giving useful information about Alzheimer's disease. Quantitative research strategy was applied for the survey. The date were collected using the method of questioning with technology of questionnaire survey and were processed in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and SPSS programs. For testing of the stated hypotheses the Pearson's chi-squared test, Kruskal-Wallis test and correlation analysis were applied. The thesis points out the importance of awareness of Alzheimer's disease and provides overview of awareness of Alzheimer's disease among the lay public. At the same time it can serve as a source of information concerning this disease

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá magnetoviskózním jevem u magnetoreologických kapalin. V úvodu jsou popsány jejich vlastnosti a možné praktické aplikace a konstrukční řešení magnetoreologických spojek.
