Double fermiophobic Higgs boson production at the LHC and LC
We consider the phenomenology of a fermiophobic Higgs boson (h_f) at the
Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and a e+e- Linear Collider (LC). At both machines
the standard production mechanisms which rely on the coupling h_fVV (V=W,Z) can
be very suppressed at large tan beta. In such cases the complementary channels
pp to H^\pm h_f, A^0 h_f and e+e- to A^0 h_f offer promising cross-sections.
Together with the potentially large branching ratios for H^\pm to h_fW* and A^0
to h_fZ*, these mechanisms would give rise to double h_f production, leading to
signatures of gamma gamma gamma gamma, gamma gamma VV and VVVV.Comment: 19 pages, 9 figures, expanded discussion, fig.1 changed slightly,

Aceite de oliva y cáncer
In the last years, numerous studies have examined the association of dietary fat and cancer. Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) from n-6 family display a strong promoting effect, this may be partially due to the especially prone to lipid peroxidation of
PUFA that leads to formation of aldehydes, which react with DNA bases, forming genotoxic exocyclic etheno(epsilon)-adducts. On the contrary, there are growing evidences that monounsaturated oils, like olive oil, may be associated with a decreased risk of some cancers. However, the epidemiological data do not fully
agree with the experimental ones previously published. Minor compounds from (extra virgin) olive oil, mainly phenolics like
hydroxytyrosol and tocopherol, are antioxidants and radical scavenging. They can minimize the amount of reactive oxygen
species (ROS) generated by fatty acid peroxidation and in the case of monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) the DNA damage can be reduced by a lower lipid peroxidation. The authors would like to acknowledge to the

As provas no discurso. Estabelecer os limites
Despite the extensive search that has been done on the phenomenon of
evidentiality in the discourse, i.e. the coding of the information source, there
are still terminological and conceptual discrepancies that need to be laid out.
The present paper presents a theoretical framework of evidentiality. It starts
with an examination of the scope of evidentiality in terms of grammar and
semantics, ending up with a full understanding of the notion as a functionalconceptual
domain. The discussion also focuses on the relationship between
evidentiality and epistemic modality since this is still an open-ended issue in
the field. We support that a thorough study of particular evidential forms, such
as reportative evidential, would be needed as a vibrant continuation of this
discussion théorique sur la force probante.

Phenomenological methodology for assessing the influence of flow conditions on the acoustic response of exhaust aftertreatment systems
[EN] The increasing limits of standards on aerosol and gaseous emissions from internal combustion engines have led to the progressive inclusion of different exhaust aftertreatment systems (EATS) as a part of the powertrain. Regulated emissions are generally abated making use of devices based on monolithic structures with different chemical functions. As a side effect, wave transmission across the device is affected and so is the boundary at the exhaust line inlet, so that the design of the latter is in turn affected. While some models are available for the prediction of these effects, the geometrical complexity of many devices makes still necessary in many cases to rely on experimental measurements, which cannot cover all the diversity of flow conditions under which these devices operate.
To overcome this limitation, a phenomenological methodology is proposed in this work that allows for the sound extrapolation of experimental results to flow conditions different from those used in the measurements. The transfer matrix is obtained from tests in an impulse rig for different excitation amplitudes and mean flows. The experimental coefficients of the transmission matrix of the device are fitted to Fourier series. It allows treating the influence of the flow conditions on the acoustic response, which is manifested on changes in the characteristic periods, separately from the specific properties of every device. In order to provide predictive capabilities to the method, the Fourier series approach is coupled to a gas dynamics model able to account for the sensitivity of propagation velocity to variations in the flow conditions.
We present the news on Palaeolithic art of Gorham’s cave. In paragraph of mobiliary art, we discuss a multidisciplinary approach in
analyzing the petrographic, depositional, diagenetic, taphonomic and anthropic (technical or iconographic) data identified of two
plaquettes of portable art. The Gorham’s cave art expands with the paintings located in the gallery located at the end of the cave. In both
cases, the stratigraphic provenance or stylistic features allow its attribution to the Magdalenian
