Exploitation of Floral Resources and Niche Overlap within an Oil-collecting Bee Guild (Hymenoptera, Apidae) in a Neotropical Savanna

Oil bees exploit host plants for resources to feed the adults and offspring, as well as for the construction of their nests. The aim of the current study is to investigate how the species in this guild distribute their foraging effort, and the range in their niche overlap levels. The bees were sampled for six months, during their visits to the flowers in a savanna (“cerrado”). These oil-bee species explored the floral resources provided by 13 plant species. The trophic niche of the most abundant species, Centris aenea Lepeletier, was relatively narrow, similarly to those of Epicharis species. Low overlap of trophic niches (TrNO≤30%) was most commonly found. The distribution of bee visits to the host plants revealed redundancy in the floral resource exploitation. However, the foraging concentration levels in some key plants were different for distinct oil-bee species, and it contributed to the low overlap of niches between many pairs of specie

El uso de redes sociales en la práctica educativa de una asignatura de postgrado: una investigación sobre el uso de las TRIC

This research aims to investigate the use of Information and Communication, Relationship and Technologies (ICRT) in a discipline of the Postgraduate Program of the Faculty of Education in Brazil. The ICRTs were used systematically in the meetings of the discipline and with social networks being the only environment used for communications and pedagogical practices. Online meetings were carried out in a synchronous manner and so that all students could communicate and interact in the virtual environment in a democratic way. The teacher applied three techniques, which he considered essential for the proper development of activities, they are: calibration, variability and collaboration. This study presents the results and perceptions about the use of ICRTs in a teaching-learning process that used technologies to promote an education that can really make a difference for our students. The methodology of the research carried out in the study was that of action research, in which the teacher uses the teaching-learning process as a research activity, ceasing to be a passive observer of the execution of the proposed activities to assume a participation position, reflection and constant change in the way it acts.Este artículo tiene por objetivo investigar el uso de las Tecnologías de la Relación, la Información y la Comunicación (TRIC) en una asignatura del Programa de Postgrado de la Facultad de Educación en Brasil. Las TRIC se utilizaron sistemáticamente en los encuentros de la asignatura, y las redes sociales constituyeron el marco utilizado para las comunicaciones y prácticas pedagógicas. Los encuentros online se realizaron de forma síncrona para que todos los alumnos pudieran comunicarse y relacionarse de forma democrática. El profesor aplicó tres técnicas, las cuales consideró imprescindibles para el buen desarrollo de las actividades: calibración, variabilidad y colaboración. Este estudio presenta los resultados y percepciones sobre el uso de las TRIC en un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje que utilizó las tecnologías para promover una educación que realmente pueda marcar la diferencia para nuestros alumnos. La metodología de la investigación realizada en el estudio fue la de investigación-acción, en la cual el profesor utiliza el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje como una actividad de investigación, y deja de ser un observador pasivo de la ejecución de las actividades propuestas para asumir una postura de participación, reflexión y de constante modificación en la forma en que actúa

Os Saberes Matemáticos na Formação de Professores Efetivos no Paraná da Primeira República

Nos estudos aqui apresentados interessou-nos saber que saberes matemáticos o curso primário proporcionava a esses futuros professores efetivos durante a Primeira República. Amparados na história cultural, buscamos respostas nos documentos oficiais pertinentes, em especial, nos Programas de Ensino. O estudo evidencia para os professores efetivos da Primeira República uma formação geral, com os saberes necessários a ensinar, carecendo em grande medida, dos saberes para ensinar matemática. As mudanças ocorridas nos Programas buscavam sustentar a finalidade do ensino primário, sem proporcionar a formação para ensinar, visto não ser essa a sua finalidade

TIME SERIES ANALYSIS OF LAND USE AND OCCUPATION IN PERMANENT PRESERVATION AREAS OF THE PARAÍBA RIVER BASIN

Any alteration caused in riparian areas of hydrographic basins directly causes changes in the dynamics of rivers, lakes, and urban areas with the elements of energy flow, dissolved material and sediments. Better planning, management and protection of natural resources in the areas of a river basin require knowledge of the characteristics of water courses, vegetation and land use and occupation. The present work aimed to analyze a time series of land use and occupation data in Permanent Preservation Areas (PPAs) of the Paraíba River Basin according to the precepts of the Brazilian Forest Code and with the aid of geoprocessing tools and the Pettitt test and Mann-Kendall test statistics. The Pettitt test showed a temporal change in the average natural cover starting in 2007, with an increase of 4.2%. Based on the Mann-Kendall test, there was a downward trend in the cover of riparian forests in 36.72% of the PPAs, prevailing over PPAs with upward trends, in the period from 1985 to 2006, demonstrating greater degradation of riparian forest areas during this period, mainly in the Middle and Lower Paraíba River regions. For the period from 2006 to 2020, there was a significant change in areas with upward trends in land with natural cover (28.31%), with an increase of 12.5% compared to the previous period.

In this paper, we prove that if ψ is a radially symmetric, signchanging stationary solution of the nonlinear heat equation (NLH) u - ∆u = │u │ α u, in the unit ball of RN, N=3, with Dirichlet boundary conditions, then the solution of (NLH) with initial value λψ blows up infinite time if │λ - 1│ > 0 is sufficiently small and if α > 0 is sufficiently small. The proof depends on showing that the inner product of ψ with the first eigenfunction of the linearized operator L= - ∆ - (α + 1) │ψ│α is nonzero

Diretrizes para o parcelamento do solo urbano

Os dados geométricos do Cadastro Territorial e do Registro de Imóveis, do parcelamento do solo urbano no Brasil, são provenientes dos projetos aprovados pelo setor de engenharia das prefeituras, podendo ser por meio digital ou analógico, observando a dinâmica da ocupação territorial urbana ao longo do tempo, bem como a legislação e pesquisas realizadas neste tema. Percebeu-se que a principal função do cadastro territorial de garantia geométrica através dos pontos limites legais das parcelas não está sendo atendida. Portanto, definiu-se uma diretriz para o parcelamento do solo urbano, a qual poderá ser aplicada nas prefeituras para compor os procedimentos e as normas técnicas específicas para o sistema básico do CTM, de modo a atender às exigências da Portaria 511 (2009) do Ministério das Cidades e o Art. 30 da Constituição Federal (1988).
