    Pertumbuhan, Produksi, Dan Kualitas Bawang Merah Di Tanah Pasir Kuarsa Pedalaman Luar Musim : The Growth, Production, and Quality of Shallot at Back Quartz Sands in The Off Season

    The development of shallot cultivation at back quartz sand during onion rainy or off season can be considered as new innovation. The objectives of this study is to obtain shallot varieties that are adaptive in terms of the growth, production, and quality parameters. The experimental design used in this research is randomized block design (RBD) 4x3 with 4 treatments of varieties (Maja Cipanas, Tajuk, Bauji and Bima Brebes), and 3 replication for each treatment. The results showed that soil bulk density increased with the deepening of the soil, however soil water content decreased. Based on growth parameter, Tajuk showed the best results and significantly different comparing to Bima Brebes. For production parameter, the weight of varieties of Maja Cipanas, Bauji dan Bima Brebes is 10 grams more than Tajuk with weight is 6,97 grams only. The production of Bauji showed the highest dry production of 22.4 ton/ha although it is not significantly different with Maja Cipanas that can produce 18.49 ton/ha. For quality parameter, the varieties of Bima Brebes showed the optimum results in terms of parameter of hardness of tubers and total dissolved solids (TDS) with the value of 4.9 kg / cm2and 16,42 % respectively. Pengembangan bawang merah di tanah pasir kuarsa pedalaman di luar musim atau musim hujan merupakan hal baru. Tujuan penelitian ini mendapatkan varietas bawang merah yang adaptif ditinjau dari parameter pertumbuhan, produksi, dan kualitas. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan RAK4x3 (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) dengan 4 perlakuan varietas (Maja Cipanas, Tajuk, Bauji dan Bima Brebes), setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bobot isi tanah meningkat dengan makin dalamnya tanah, namun kadar air tanah sebaliknya makin menurun. Pada parameter pertumbuhan nampaknya Tajuk terbaik dan berbeda nyata dibandingkan Bima Brebes. Pada parameter produksi ternyata Maja Cipanas, Bauji dan Bima Brebes memiliki berat 10 g lebih, sedangkan Tajuk hanya 6,79 g. Produksi varietas Bauji adalah terbaik dengan produksi kering sebesar 22,4 t/ha meskipun tidak berbeda nyata dengan Maja Cipanas 18,49 t/ha. Pada parameter kualitas maka Bima Brebes cukup baik ditinjau dari parameter kekerasan umbi dan Total Padatan Terlarut (TPT) berturut-turut 4,9 kg/cm 2 dan 16,42 %

    The Characteristic of Groundwater Table and Subsidence of Degraded Peatland in Ex ICCTF Plot Central Kalimantan

    Degraded peatlands typically have been cultivated by communities for agriculture. Ex ICCTF plot in Jabiren is considered as a degraded peatland since the area has been cultivated and drained for smallholder plantation. This study aimed to characterise the groundwater level and peat subsidence periodically over seven months of observation. It has been found that the groundwater level fluctuated from 50 cm to 150 cm below the peat surface, implying the deterioration of peat ecosystem. Based on the transect observation, the groundwater table seems to form a dome shape with the deeper level existed adjacent to the canal. The average peat subsidence was around 27 to 39 cm in cumulative since the subsidence stick installation. However, in the range of ten-month of observation, the peat subsidence was around 8.5 cm. The subsidence was higher on the location adjacent to the canal (25 m) compared to the farther one (100 m). The subsidence also fluctuated, notably in the wet season, indicating the influence of rain event to peat subsidence.  Rewetting peatland was likely to result in reducing peat subsidence suggesting the importance of water management in peatland to recover degraded peatland

    Papaya fruit (Carica papaya L.) is  classified as having high economic value and is being developed by many farmer.  A common problem is the papaya variety that farmer \s develop usually from careless seeds, so the production and quality are low.  The aim of this research is to introduce superior papaya and have good quality. Three varieties papaya are used in this study, namely: Merah Delima, Jupe, and Madu.The research location is located in the dry land of Banturung, Palangka Raya City.  The result that the land suitability class of the study site included S3wa,on, which is Marginal Suitability with the heaviest inhibiting factors of water availability and oxygen availability. On Growth parameters, then Merah Delima has the largest stem circumference  of 10,1 cm althought it is not significantly different from other varieties 8,8 cm.  While the plant height is the best Merah Delima  papaya and signficantly different from Madu. Interms of Productioan Jupe has a number of Fruits (38 fruits/tree) that are significantly different from Madu, and the weight of fruit (1,2 kg/fruit) is significantly different from Merah Delima., and fruit weight per tree 34,1 kg is significantly different from the other two varieties.  Base on the sweetness level, the sweetest Merah Delima reaches 9,1 oBrix significantly different from Jupe (6,9 oBrix) and Madu (6,6 oBrix).  Parameters of growth, productionand quality of papaya can still be improved by improving the management of inhibiting factors

Job factors are breadth, stress, work style, leadership style, relationships between employees, opportunities to develop, reward / incentive systems, group norms work, and commitment to the organization. Impotence behavior developed from low work morale in organizational processes for work is also low, in addition to things that cannot be avoided (sickness, traffic trauma). PT. Aneka Tuna Pasuruan is one of the exporters of canned tuna in Indonesia, which has hundreds of employees, also inseparable from labor issues. In several years at PT.     The utilization of sago waste as a source of organic material, namely compost will provide positive values for both plants and soil productivity and reduce the cost of purchasing chicken manure which is increasingly expensive. Research conductedon dry land in the dry seasonat a land plot of header/ tajuk varieties red onionusing the treatment of sago waste compost dosage. The treatment of sago waste compost doses, among others KS 0 = control, KS 1 = 35 t/ha, KS 2 = 70 t/ha dan KS 3 = 105 t/ha. The results showed no significant differences between treatments on the growth parameters of red onion aged 2 MST and 4 MST. However, the dry production parameters show that KS treatment differs only with KS 0. Respectively 11,56 t/ha compared to 9,61 t/ha. The treatment of sago waste compost dosage also has a good effect on decreasing the value of soil bulk density, increasing soil water content and also soil porosity. It is associated with the increased dose of sago waste compost then further increase the number of earthworm populations at different depths in the soil. At a depth of 0-15 cm the highest population of earthworms at KS 3 reached 1,077/ 2m2while KS 0 is only 309/2m2

    Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan wilayah, peran Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru, pariwisata, dan pembangunan proyek Gerbang Wisata Bromo Tengger Semeru di Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Pengembangan wilayah diukur dari faktor seperti kesempatan kerja, peningkatan populasi penduduk, pendapatan, dan nilai tambah industri. Tujuan pengembangan wilayah meliputi aspek sosial dan ekonomi. Pengembangan wilayah dapat dilakukan dari bawah dengan melibatkan lembaga-lembaga setempat atau dari atas dengan kebijakan yang ditentukan oleh pemerintah. Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru memiliki peran penting dalam pelestarian flora dan fauna, kegiatan penelitian, pendidikan, rekreasi, dan budidaya. Pariwisata merupakan sektor penting dalam perekonomian suatu wilayah, membuka lapangan kerja, dan meningkatkan pendapatan negara. Kabupaten Probolinggo sedang mengembangkan potensi wisata Gunung Bromo sebagai objek wisata unggulan. Pemerintah akan membangun empat gerbang wisata menuju Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional (KSPN) Bromo Tengger Semeru, dilengkapi dengan rest area dan fasilitas pendukung lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi literatur dengan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber sekunder seperti jurnal, dokumen, dan website.     Pengaruh Varietas dan Paket Pemupukan pada Fase Produktif terhadap Kualitas Melon (Cucumis melo L.) di Quartzipsamments

    ABSTRACTMelon (Cucumis melo L.), one of the high-value fruits, has been started to expand by farmers but the heterogeneity in quality may constrain the development. This study aimed to improve the quality of melon in quartz-sand soil (Quartzipsamments). A field experiment based on the split-plot design was conducted on April to June 2016 in Kotawaringin Timur Regency, Central Kalimantan Province, using two factors comprising melon varieties and on-productive-stage fertilization. The varieties consist of Rio F1 (V1), Action 434 F1 (V2), Madesta F1 (V3), Dewo F1 (V4), Gracia F1 (V5), and Okasa F1 (V6). While four fertilization packages which have different dosage on each were tested, including control (P0), low (P2), medium (P3), and high (P3). The result indicated that either varieties or fertilizing significantly affected growth, yield, and the quality of melon. There was a significant interaction between varieties and fertilizing toward yield and quality. Madesta F1 is the only varieties which showed positive response along with increasing fertilizer dosage, and the highest weight (4.55 kg) occurred on the high fertilizing level (P3). While in regard to sweetness level, Rio F1 showed a positive response until medium fertilizing dosage (P2) and resulted in the highest sweetness level by 13.05 oBrix but decreased on the higher dosage (P3). The fruit weight slightly-negative correlated with total sweetness level where the increase in weight may reduce the sweetness level.Keywords: lowland, quartz sand, sweetness levelABSTRAKMelon (Cucumis melo L.) sebagai salah satu komoditas bernilai ekonomis tinggi mulai dikembangkan banyak petani, namun terkendala dengan kualitas buah yang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu buah melon di tanah pasir kuarsa (Quartzipsamment). Percobaan lapangan dengan Rancangan Petak Terbagi dilakukan pada bulan April hingga Juni 2016 di Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, dengan menggunakan dua faktor, yaitu varietas dan dosis pemupukan pada fase produktif. Faktor varietas terdiri atas: Rio F1 (V1), Action 434 F1 (V2), Madesta F1 (V3), Dewo F1 (V4), Gracia F1 (V5), dan Okasa F1 (V6). Sedangkan faktor pemupukan pada fase produktif terdiri atas: kontrol (P0), rendah (P2), sedang (P3), dan tinggi (P3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor varietas maupun pemupukan berpengaruh terhadap peubah pertumbuhan, hasil, maupun kualitas. Terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara varietas dan pemupukan terhadap peubah hasil maupun kualitas buah. Madesta F1 adalah satu-satunya varietas yang menunjukkan respon positif dengan meningkatnya dosis pemupukan, dengan bobot buah tertinggi sebesar 4.55 kg dicapai pada perlakuan dosis tinggi (P3). Untuk kemanisan buah, varietas Rio F1 menunjukan respon positif dengan adanya peningkatan dosis hingga dosis sedang (P2) dengan nilai kemanisan tertinggi di antara yang lain (13.05 oBrix), namun menurun pada dosis yang lebih tinggi (P3). Bobot buah berkorelasi negatif yang tidak terlalu erat dengan tingkat kemanisan total buah, semakin tinggi bobot cenderung menurunkan tingkat kemanisan buah.Kata kunci: dataran rendah, pasir kuarsa, tingkat kemanisa

    ABSTRACT PT. Wings Surya pays attention to the work environment and compensation to improve employee performance. This study examines the influence of the work environment (X1) and compensation (X2) on employee performance (Y) in the laboratory division of PT. Wings Surya. This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and compensation on employee performance. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection methods used were distributing questionnaires and recording documents. Data analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis which is processed using a computer with the SPSS 20 for Windows program. Based on the results of research testing can be drawn two conclusions that Work environment (X1) and compensation (X2) affect simultaneously (simultaneously) on employee performance in the laboratory division of PT. Wings Surya (Y) because the Fcount value is 51,548> Ftable 3,172. Among the work environment (X1) and compensation (X2) the more dominant variable significantly influences the employee's performance on the laboratory division of PT. Wings Surya is Compensation (X2) because the regression coefficient is biggest that is 0,481 .. Researcher suggest to Human Resources Department PT. Wings Surya pays attention to the work environment and compensation. In order for employees of laboratory division of PT. Wings Surya (Y) karena nilai Fhitung 51,548 > Ftabel 3,172. Diantara lingkungan kerja (X1) dan kompensasi (X2) variabel yang lebih dominan secara signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan pada divisi laboratorium PT. Wings Surya adalah Kompensasi (X2) karena koefisien regresinya paling besar yaitu 0,481.. Peneliti menyarankan kepada bagian Human Resources Departement PT. This type of research is pure descriptive research or survey. The population in this research are customers of Serambi dana koperasi who are 134 permanent members. The results of this research indicate that service quality partially influences consumer interest in Serambi dana koperasi Surabaya, Then it can be concluded that the brand awareness variable has a significant effect on the consumer interest variable partially.     Pengaruh Strategi Diferensiasi Dan Hargaterhadap Keunggulan Bersaing Elzatta Royal Plaza Surabaya

    ABSTRACT  The research objective was to determine the effect of differentiation strategies and prices on the competitive advantage of Elzatta Royal Plaza Surabaya. The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive research method using questionnaire techniques in data collection. The population in this study were all visitors who came and bought Elzatta products at the Royal Plaza Surabaya. The number of samples is 100 respondents. Data processed using the SPSS program. The results of hypothesis testing, based on the F test conducted can be seen that differentiation strategies and prices simultaneously influence competitive advantage. The results of the t test in this study indicate that the strategy of product differentiation, service quality, and price has a partial effect on competitive advantage. Whereas, image differentiation strategies and distribution channel differentiation strategies have no effect on competitive advantage. Hasil pengujian hipotesis, berdasarkan uji F yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa strategi diferensiasi dan harga secara simultan mempengaruhi keunggulan kompetitif. Hasil uji t dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi diferensiasi produk, kualitas layanan, dan harga memiliki pengaruh parsial terhadap keunggulan kompetitif. Sedangkan, strategi diferensiasi gambar dan strategi diferensiasi saluran distribusi tidak berpengaruh pada keunggulan kompetitif.
