    Network attributes' evaluation by stakeholder groups concerned to the Agri-food sector in Hungary

    As a consortium partner, University of Debrecen, Hungary, has been conducting a European four-year project with the acronym NetGrow financed within the Framework Program 7 under the auspices of the EU focusing on network behaviour of food SMEs and the performance of networks. The overall objective is to reveal more evidences and facts on innovation, learning, and networking in the food sector of the EU. Whithin the scope of the project, special attention was paid to reveal how network attributes were evaluated by the main four stakeholder groups of the food sector such as food SMEs, public bodies, research institutions, and network management organisations. The respondents differ in ranking the attributes, while but we got a clear order of attributes, of which the top five can be explicitly selected. Taking the next three ranks into consideration, the attributes behind them have clear meanings and they seem to be complementary for the top five. The stakeholder groups were significantly differ in scoring openmindedness and external relations, the importance of network rendered services, and the goals relevance of the network to the firms

    [EN] Within the Faculty of Economics and Business (UD) our research group focuses on Lifestyle and Health Sciences. We define health as a complex psycho-bio and social phenomenon and the overall goal is to promote, assist and implement Sustainable Lifestyle. However Sustainable Lifestyle has many corresponding scientific sub-categories, beyond our activities we concentrate on (1) the present trends and future potential of sustainable food consumption, covering special consumer demands on functional food, organic, ethical , fairly traded, LOHAS and local products, plant-based diet and cultured (lab-grown) meat, Sustainable European traditional pig (Fatty Pig) etc., (2) Short Food Supply Chain, (3) renewable energy, and (4) the economic, social, health preserving effects of physical activity. Our aim is to run professional lifestyle studies focusing on actual research issues of Health Industry. Within the scope of Sustainable Lifestyle we wish to contribute to general awareness-raising about Health Economy with a special attention on social health-consciousness. Our proposal initiates seek future collaborations with CARPE members due to 1. Organisation of joint educational (bachelor, master and PhD) events; 2. Exchange of students; 3.     Is the 100-week egg production cycle a sufficient breakthrough opportunity on the commodity market in the light of the economic turnmoils of 2021-2022?

    In times of accelerated economical changes dominated by technology, the values of scheduled and completed agricultural innovations need to be evaluated in the light of new trends and challenges.Our data generated in the past years shows great results, but the often-exponential changes may override the meaning of these values. However, new times opens new opportunities: this 100-week egg production technology, designed and developed on firm with excellent economic result provides additional economical and social opportunities fulfilling an important role in an ever-changing environment.The technology described in the thesis with its particular parameters highlights the importance of long-term, uncompromised, natural pattern based approach. This approach opens positive value innovation and development circles and enables such technological approach, that ensures continuous improvement, sustainable operation meeting also the social requirements.The demonstrated results from the presented study are excellent, but in terms of other revenues it is necessary to establish complete systems and to carry out appropriate verification audits before their practical application
