    Kesediaan Menempuh Alam Keibubapaan di Kalangan Pasangan Muda Islam Daerah Hulu Langat Selangor Darul Ehsan

    Pasangan muda Islam hari ini merupakan ibu bapa yang akan berperanan mendidik dan membentuk generasi remaja akan datang. Gejala sosial di kalangan remaja Muslim kini amat membimbangkan, dan ban yak pihak mengaitkannya dengan kegagalan institusi keluarga khususnya ibu bapa tidak memainkan peranan dengan sebaiknya. Membaiki fungsi institusi kekeluargaan dalam masyarakat merupakan langkah pencegahan paling berkesan. Oleh kerana kesediaan memikul tanggungjawab keibubapaan merupakan langkah awal kepada perlaksanaan tugas keibubapaan, maka usaha mengenalpasti tahap kesediaan di kalangan pasangan muda perlu dilakukan. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahap kesediaan keibubapaan pasangan muda Islam menempuh alam keibubapaan dari perspektif Islam. Untuk itu, kajian ini melihat kesediaan keibubapaan di kalangan 180 orang responden yang terpilih (90 pasangan suami isteri) di Daerah Hulu Langat, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Data kajian dikumpulkan menggunakan borang soal selidik dan dianalisis menggunakan Pakej Statistik untuk Sains Sosial (SPSS) bagi mendapatkan maklumat tentang peratusan, purata dan sisihan piawai. Ujian-t, Ujian Anova dan Ujian Korelasi juga digunakan dalam kajian ini untuk melihat perkaitan dan perbezaan.Hasil dari kajian ini mendapati 1) tahap kesediaan keibubapaan responden adalah tinggi; 2) tahap pengetahuan responden mengenai ilmu-ilmu kekeluargaan dan keibubapaan juga berada di tahap yang tinggi; 3) hampir kesemua responden bersikap positif terhadap peranan keibubapaan; 4) hampir kesemua elemen-elemen pengetahuan keibubapaan mempunyai perkaitan dengan elemen-elemen sikap terhadap peranan keibubapaan; 5) faktor-faktor demografi seperti jantina, tempat tingga/ dan pendidikan agama tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dengan kesediaan keibubapaan; manakala faktor pendidikan akademik dan pekerjaan didapati mempunyai perbezaan yang bermakna; dan 6) faktor pendapatan, tahap pengetahuan dan sikap didapati mempunyai perkaitan yang bermakna dengan kesediaan keibubapaan; manakala faktor umur didapati sebaliknya

    Dewasa ini, adakalanya pesakit yang mengalami penyakit kronik seperti Diabetes dan lain-lain, kadang-kala berjaya diubati apabila pesakit mencuba Kaedah Rawatan Alternatif. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti dari aspek jati diri terhadap pesakit dan kaitannya dengan elemen fizikal, minda, rohani dan emosi serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memberi kesan positif kepada penyembuhan penyakitnya. Kajian ini menggunakan metodologi “Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP)” daripada Thomas (2008) sebagai satu kaedah membuat keputusan. Kajian ini diolah dari data temu bual bagi 10 responden pesakit. Kajian ini dilakukan di Pusat Terapi Pyra Cosmic, Subang Jaya. Hasil kajian ini mendapati bahawa ketika seorang itu sakit, elemen fizikal memperolehi 29.95 peratus dan tertinggi berbanding dengan elemen-elemen yang lain manakala bagi aspek Jati Diri pesakit pula, elemen Rohani memperolehi 28.78 peratus yang merupakan elemen yang penting dalam proses penyembuhan

    My3s (Malaysian Soft Skills Scale) Strategies for Soft Skills Development Through the Fostering of Entrepreneurial Skills: An Analysis

    This study is done to look into the formation of 'human capital' among students of Higher Leaming Institutes in Malaysia, through the fostering of entrepreneurial skills. The study sample of 480 first degree students from the sixth semester are taken from the Malaysian Technical University Network or MTUN comprising of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM) and Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNiMAP). In the meantime, researchers have used the three-layer group sampling. Then, the study data were analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 19.0 in order to obtain the value of the mean, standard deviation and Pearson's Correlation. The study outcome points to the moderately strong relationship, significant between the value of trust with the mastery of entrepreneurial skills.Meanwhile, accountability shows a very strong significance with the entrepreneurial skills. Finally, the study outcome demonstrates the level of mastery of students' entrepreneurial skills remains at a high level. All in all, this study concludes that there exists a significant correlation between the human capital with the mastery of entrepreneurial skills which needs to be given due attention to elevate the performance of the university and students' potential

    Pembangunan insan adalah antara misi utama ajaran Islam. Hijrah Rasulullah SAW ke kota Madinah adalah untuk melakukan satu anjakan paradigma bagi melakukan pembangunan insan dalam pelbagai bentuk dan dimensinya. Islam mendukung penuh usaha membentuk dan membangunkan manusia berkualiti bahkan konsep kualiti itu sendiri adalah unik dalam Islam kerana ia merangkumkan kedua-dua aspek fizikal dan rohani, dunia dan akhirat. Makalah ini sedaya upaya cuba mengupas pandangan Hasan al-Banna dalam penulisan Majmu’at al-Rasail yang telah mengemukakan 3 elemen pembangunan insan dalam pembentukan individu Muslim, keluarga Muslim dan masyarakat Muslim menerusi penulisannya. Justeru, motivasi diri dalam ‘Majmu’at al-Rasail’ telah menyumbang kepada aspek pembangunan insan itu sendiri.     This article discusses Jami 'al-Azhar as a center for the knowledge study and the holistic interaction of teacher-student relationships. On the other hand, the position of teachers continues to be marginalized in the digital era. Hence, it is pivotal to look back at the teacher-student relationship that has prevailed in the history of Islamic education, especially in Jami 'al-Azhar. The research methodology employed literature review with a historical approach through primary and secondary source analysis. This study found that Jami 'al-Azhar was a center for the Islamic studies and study of science, initially aimed as propaganda for the Kingdom of Fathimiyah to perpetuate Shi'i understanding. However, the rank continued to develop to give a role as a center of thought and knowledge that gave birth to scholars from various schools of thought. One of its uniqueness as a center for the study of science is to perpetuate the interaction of teacher-student relationships in various traditions. Among the most prominent traditions are sanad, ijazah, suhbah, and talaqqi.     A high incidence of rape and incest is emerging in Malaysia, especially among middle and lower income families in remote rural and coastal communities.The researchers have abided by the legal definition of rape in Malaysia, in which rape is defined as the forced penetration of a penis into vagina. This means that cases or forced oral or anal penetration (generally categorized by the police, courts etc as ‘molest’ or ‘outrage of modesty’), or in which that attacker used an object such a stick to rape the victim (which in many countries would be classified as rape. Incest, defined as sexual relationship between closely related persons forbidden by law to marry, incest , however is more often a case of the male adult forcing himself on a minor relative, in many cases a child. The impact of rape and incest is widespread, affecting the victim, family, friends, and society. While the prevalence of them has become part of Malaysian consciousness in recent years, the Malaysian remains less aware that a large number of these abusive acts are perpetrated within familial relationships. These cases are some of the most extreme examples of violence against girls and women (VAW). So, shocking and disturbing were they that they grabbed headlines and sparked public outrage throughout the nation. Malaysia Police statistic for 2006 show that 581 cases of rape from January to April that increased around 127 cases from last year. The trauma of victims has been such that many have attempted suicide or run away. The most visible emotional scar, often for life, is the victim’s difficulty in trusting and building relationships with other people. Most important, society must report and act on such happenings. But sex is not a subject that easily discussed in Malaysia even between husband and wife

    DESIGNING AND ASSESING AN ISLAMIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION MODEL FOR ISLAMIC HIGHER EDUCATION (IHE)

    The implementation of entrepreneurship course can be carried out by integrating the tridharma of higher education (the threefold missions of higher education) simultaneously in learning, for which a guideline is needed for its implementation. This study aims to design and assess the Islamic Entrepreneurship Education (IEE) model in the tridharma in Islamic Religious Universities (PTKI) in Aceh. This research was conducted through Design-Based Research (DBR) involving 3 experts and 6 lecturers. The research instrument used was a questionnaire which was analyzed statistically descriptively, while the qualitative data used interviews and were analyzed with an interactive model. The results of the design of the IEE model has produced three aspects along with four elements for the dimensions of education and teaching, research, and community service. These three aspects are inter-curricular activities, co-curricular activities, and extra-curricular activities, while the four elements are the objectives of implementing entrepreneurship education learning activities, entrepreneurial learning materials/content, using entrepreneurship learning methods, and implementing evaluations of entrepreneurship learning. The design of this model has the description for the implementation procedure. This design of IEE model can be used by lecturers as a model for implementing IEE in Islamic Religious Universities

    Educational Activity: A Preliminary Review and Some International Experiences

    This paper reviews the history of the educational activity which was entered through John Dewey’s Experimental School, founded in 1896, the first school to use the activity curriculum. It sheds the light on the stages that activity has gone through till today. The Islamic view and a number of quotes from a number of Islamic thinkers and educators also were reviewed. The importance of the activity, its basics, functions, types and classifications were also discussed. The research concluded with a number of international experiences which gave great importance to the activity in their curricula and educational plans. The most important recommendations are: 1) Offering advanced training programs for teachers on educational activity; 2) Adding educational activity as an independent material in educational colleges; 3) Expanding the scope of study for international experiences in educational activity; and 4) Making use of technology and employing it in the educational activity

    Pemulihan akhlak di pusat perlindungan wanita: kajian di Baitul Ehsan dan Dar Assaadah

    Dalam konteks Malaysia, masyarakat kini sememangnya sedang bergelut dengan masalah keruntuhan akhlak yang begitu membimbangkan khususnya membabitkan golongan remaja, antaranya masalah kehamilan luar nikah. Hakikatnya, perbincangan mengenai topik akhlak telah mengisi hampir satu pertiga daripada kandungan al- Quran. Selain itu, matlamat Nabi Muhammad SAW diutuskan juga adalah untuk memperbaiki akhlak manusia. Bertitik tolak dari kesedaran pelbagai pihak terhadap keutamaan akhlak sebagaimana yang ditekankan oleh Islam, maka usaha-usaha pemulihan akhlak kini giat dijalankan. Pusat perlindungan wanita menjadi antara institusi penting yang diwujudkan secara khusus bagi menjalankan proses pemulihan akhlak remaja bermasalah, sebagai contoh pusat perlindungan wanita Baitul Ehsan (BES) dan Kompleks Dar Assaadah (KDS). Justeru, satu kajian dijalankan bagi melihat sejauh manakah kedua-dua pusat perlindungan ini komited dalam menjalankan usaha-usaha pemulihan akhlak remaja bermasalah. Kajian kualitatif ini menggunakan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data iaitu dokumentasi, pemerhatian serta temu bual ke atas 6 orang kakitangan dari kedua-dua pusat perlindungan tersebut. Hasil kajian mendapati BES dan KDS memanfaatkan tempoh perlindungan pelatih dengan mewujudkan beberapa platform penting bagi tujuan pemulihan akhlak iaitu penganjuran kelas pemantapan ilmu agama dan kemahiran, pelaksanaan aktiviti berbentuk kerohanian dan ketahanan fizikal serta penguatkuasaan peraturan. Ringkasnya, kajian juga mendapati kesemua platform yang digunakan selari dengan konsep penyucian jiwa (tazkiyat al-nafs) sebagaimana yang disarankan oleh Islam bagi tujuan memperbaiki akhlak manusia ke arah yang lebih baik

    Mapping TPACK Components in Implementing Edupreneur-Profiled Curriculum at Teacher Training and Education Institutions in Aceh

    This research aims to explore the mapping of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) components of instructors in implementing the Edupreneur-profiled curriculum in Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) in Aceh. The researchers employed interview methods, observations, and document reviews involving three heads of study programs and six instructors from three PTKIs (Islamic Higher Education Institutions) in Aceh, namely UIN Ar-Raniry, IAIN Lhokseumawe, and STAIN Teungku Dirundang Meulaboh. The data analysis was conducted interactively. Instructors teaching Edupreneurship-profiled courses have successfully integrated Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Technological Knowledge (TK), Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TCK), and Technological Content Knowledge (TPK) as components of TPACK in their teaching practices. This research contributes to mapping these components, thereby aiding instructors in effectively implementing the entrepreneurship-profiled curriculum. In conclusion, this research provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of Open Educational Resources (OER) on creative thinking within the context of science subjects, filling a notable gap in the existing literature and offering a foundation for further exploration in educational practices
