    The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction between the application of learning systematic problem solving solutions and Wanket-Oreovocz. Experimental and demonstration methods have different effects. The number of students in this study were 70 students who were divided into two classes, namely the application of systematic problem solving strategy learning which amounted to 34 students and the application of the Wanket-Oreovocz problem solving strategy class totaled 36 students in terms of the application of experiments and demonstrations. learning methods. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling technique. The research design used in this study is a factorial design. Data analysis using Anova technique with SPSS software version 16.0..Research results of data analysis in this research used to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes in terms of application of learning systematic troubleshooting strategy and demonstration method obtained 0.59 which was in moderate “category”, the application of Wanket-Oreovocz troubleshooting strategy and experimental methods obtained 0.56 which was in moderate “category”. Wanket-Oreovocz troubleshooting strategy that obtained 0.61 was also obtanined 0.61. Results hypothesis showed that there is difference in cognitive learning outcomes between the application of learning systematic troubleshooting strategy and Wanket-Oreovcz (sig-value 0.854 > 0,05); there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes between the application of experimental method and demonstration method (sig-value 0.035 < 0.05);and there is no interaction between systematic troubleshooting strategy and Wanket-Oreovcz, which demonstration method was better used than experiment method

    This research is a quantitative research using survey method. The locations of the research are in the three tourist objects including Goa Cemara Beach, Kuwaru Beach, and Pandansimo Baru Beach. This study aims to analyze the tourist characteristics in the three research location and to learn how to formulate a plan for the most appropriate for tourism products at three locations sights. The approach used to analyze the tourist characteristics is the four elements of market segmentation: geographic, socio- demographic, psychographic, and behavioral. The samples of the research are 156 respondents with the margin of error 8% done using purposive sampling technique during March to April 2015 in the three research locations. The data collection was taken by questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Once the data is collected and processed with quantitative analysis using statistical tools, frequency distribution, and cross table (crosstabs). The result shows that the geographic characteristics of tourists in the three locations are balanced between tourists from outside and inside Bantul Regency. Then, the socio- demographic characteristics of tourists in Goa Cemara Beach and Pandansimo Baru Beach are dominated by private employees/BUMN(state-owned corporation), aged 22-60 years old, married and repeater tourist, while tourists in Kuwaru Beach are dominated by students, under 22 years old, single status and first comer tourists. Furthermore, in terms of psychographics, tourists in the three locations who have psychocentric characteristics prefer to get something plural, popular, and like to do common activities with the frequency of short stay visit. Lastly, the behavior of tourists in the three research locations is dominated by doing recreation or having leisure time to enjoy the main attractions of coastal landscape. The results of tourist characteristics of these three locations are used as the basis for planning of thematic tourism products in accordance with the character of the three research objects. This research is a kind of quantitative research with survey research method. The research location in 10 tourism destination in Bantul: Banyunibo Waterfall in Pajangan, Mangunan, Pine Forest, Siluk Suspension Bridge in Imogiri, Geospatial Coastal Dune Sand in Parangtritis, Becici Hill in Dlingo, Pulosari Waterfall in Pajangan, Watu Lumbung in Parangtritis, Tri Panjung Hill in Dlingo, Lepo Lake in Dlingo, and Mangunan Hill in Dlingo. Sampling using non probbably sampling technique because the population in this research is not known for certain.     Tidak berhasilnya tujuan dari pendidikan Islam salah satunya karena kurangnya perhatian baik kepada pemahaman atas tujuan pendidikan Islam, kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, ataupun konsep guru itu sendiri. Tujuan tulisan ini untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan pemikiran pendidikan Islam perspektif Ibnu Sina dan Fazlur Rahman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan serta analisis terhadap isi baik dari buku ataupun artikel ilmiah dalam kurun waktu penerbitan 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara pendidikan perspektif Ibnu Sina dengan Fazlur Rahman keduanya saling bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi secara keseluruhan peserta didik. Akan tetapi, dari Ibnu Sina lebih memberikan penekanan terhadap pendidikan akhlak sedangkan dari Fazlur Rahman lebih memberikan penekanan terhadap pendidikan moral. Dari aspek kurikulum Ibnu Sina terdapat pembagian berdasar usia peserta didik sedangkan Fazlur Rahman lebih kepada pengaitan terhadap gerakan ganda dan bahasa. Dari aspek metode untuk Ibnu Sina seperti metode pembelajaran pada umumnya sedangkan Fazlur Rahman lebih kepada analisis dan pemahaman secara konteks. Dari aspek konsep guru, baik dari Ibnu Sina ataupun Fazlur Rahman guru harus mencerminkan akhlak mulia sedangkan perbedaannya terdapat pada perspektif Ibnu Sina yang mendominakan bahwa guru harus laki-laki

    Integrasi Sains-Islam: Telaah Kritis Epistemologi Ziauddin Sardar dan Relevansinya bagi Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri Indonesia

    Differences in views cause the need for scientific integration to create harmony. This is one of the efforts that need to be discussed and realized to minimize a dichotomy of science. This paper aims to analyze the integration of Islamic-science through a critical review of Ziauddin Sardar and its relevance in PTKIN. This paper includes the type of literature research with the acquisition of data collected through primary sources derived from Ziauddin Sardar's: "How Do You Know?: Reading Ziauddin Sardar on Islam, Science, and Cultural Relations" and a translated book by AE Priyono entitled " Jihad Intelektual: Merumuskan Parameter-Parameter Sains Islam", and supported by other sources with similar discussions. Data analysis is carried out based on the content and conclusions after the data is collected. The results showed that the purpose of Islamic-science is not to search for truth, but the Islamic ethos based on the Qur'an is used as a reference in science research and is also based on the will of the Muslim community. Sardar's principles of Islamization include Islam should be seen as an ethical framework rather than a state, the Qur'an should be viewed as an interpretive methodology to deal with contemporary issues, and Muslims should be active truth seekers rather than passive. The development of various PTKIN in the current era based on science integration shows that there is relevance or no rejection of the concept of Islamization of science

    ON THE ASSOCIATION OF IRANIAN EFL TEACHER’S IDENTITY STYLE, RELIGIOUS IDENTITY, AND IDENTITY COMMITMENT

    The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship among EFL teacher’s identity style, religious identity, and identity commitment. The data was collected from 88 EFL teachers teaching at different English language learning institutes in Ilam province- Iran. Two questionnaires were used, including Dollinger’s (2001) Brief Religiosity Scale (BRS-6) and Berzonsky’s (1992) Identity Style Inventory, the revised version (ISI3). Results suggested that EFL teacher’s identity style and their commitment were positively correlated (r = 0.350). There was also a significant positive correlation between EFL teacher’s religious identity and their commitment (r = 0.312). A significant positive correlation was also found between EFL teacher’s identity style and religious identity (r = 0.367).  The results of one-way ANOVA indicated that there was a statistically significant difference in identity style scores, identity commitment scores, and religiosity scores for four groups. The results of independent t-test analysis indicated that there was no significant difference in identity style, identity commitment, and the religiosity scores of the two groups of participants. Finally, the implications and limitations of the study were also discussed
