Key Words: Writing skill, Index Card Match Method The researcher has some problems in the teaching writing skill at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong such as students’ mark in writing skill were low because the teacher just gives explanation and task, without gave a suitable method in teaching process. It was make some of student could not understand well. Even some students’ mark in writing skill was bad and it under standard mark. The statement of problems of this research were: 1) Can Index Card Match Method improve students’ writing skill in descriptive text at the eighth grade of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong in the 2013/2014 academic year; and 2) How does the implementation of Index Card Match Method improve students’ writing skill in descriptive text at the eighth grade of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong in the 2013/2014 academic year. The purposes of the study of this research were: 1) To know whether the Index Card Match Method improve students’ writing skill in descriptive text at the eighth grade of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong in the 2013/2014 academic year. 2) To describe the implementation of Index Card Match Method to improve students’ writing skill in descriptive text at the eighth grade of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong in the 2013/2014 academic year. The subject of this research was the students of the eighth grade class VIIIA of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong in the 2013/2014 academic year, which consisted of 22 students. The research was started on January 9th, 2014 until January 18th, 2014. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in two cycles. The researcher used three research instruments. They were: observation check list, questionnaire, and test. Based on the result of this research, the implementation of Index Card Match Method can improved students’ writing skill at the eighth grade of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong in the 2013/2014 academic year. It was seen from the improvement of students’ percentage from 31.9% in cycle I up to 100% in cycle 2. The questionnaire result showed that the students were interested in this method. It was seen from the total of questionnaire I was 59.58% and questionnaire II was 86.04%. The observation check list result showed that the students become active during teaching learning process. It was seen from the total of observation checklist cycle I was 55.89% up to 96.10% in cycle II. Finally, the researcher gives suggestion that English teachers can apply Index Card Match Method as alternative method in teaching writing. The next researcher can develop this method by using various kinds of the media to get the better result in teaching learning process

    Using Ant-Word Profiler App to Classify Vocabulary Level for Paragraph Writing among EFL Learners

    There is a vast amount study of vocabulary assessment strategies by professional educators and a number of methods have emerged to gauge vocabulary competence. However, only a limited number of literatures analyze the use of online application to assess EFL students’ vocabulary level, especially in Indonesia. To fill this gap, this study employs Ant-Word Profiler App to classify students’ vocabulary level on final exam in advanced paragraph writing course among Indonesian undergraduate EFL Learners. Drawing on the Laufer Theory (1997) on factors which affect vocabulary learning, this study showcases the group of participants challenge their vocabulary mastery as they were routinely engaged to the writing class. The participants were, second semester students at Indonesia tertiary Institution who enrolled in Advanced Paragraph Writing course range from 19 to 22 years old. This descriptive interview study utilized a corpus-based research in vocabulary context of writing course. The AntWordProfiler app generates lexicon statistics and recurrence about the corpus of the text. The primary categories of the data collected are the overall quantity of running words in a apecific content of the given text. The results demonstrate that students at different stages of writing proficiency used a low percentage of Advanced vocabulary indeed on the final exam of the course. The implication of this study calls for the interactive vocabulary and writing pedagogy to enrich vocabulary mastery for students of language teacher education.

    Background – The merger that was done by BUMN Islamic Banks in Indonesia to form Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) has forced the customers to switch to the new system. This switch may create resistance. As this phenomenon is still new, therefore, there are still very limited studies that investigate it. Aim – This study is aimed to investigate factors that influence customer switching intention to Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). Design / Methodology / Approach – This study collected 106 respondents and the data is analyzed using PLS-SEM. The purposive sampling technique is chosen by creating criteria for the sample, such as ex-Bank Syariah Mandiri, BRI Syariah, and BNI Syariah customers who are forcedly switched to Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). Findings – This study shows that trust has a significant effect on satisfaction, but it does not influence switching intention. Satisfaction is significantly influenced by service quality, but it has a negative effect on switching intention. Interestingly, service quality also does not influence switching intention. Conclusion - This study concludes that customer switching intentions are significantly influenced by customer satisfaction, but not by trust and service quality. Research Implication – The findings of this study are expected to be used by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) managers in designing a customer loyalty program. So that, the customers who are forcedly switched can stay.   Limitations – Most of the respondents in this study are from Java Island. This unbalanced proportion might affect the validity of the findings

    BNCT is a new method in nuclear technology. The aim of BNCT application is to reduce human risk which used to kills cell targeting characteristic. The impact of using this technology should be considered before it is applied, among the effects of radiation on workers and the surrounding environment BNCT pilot plant. A research on modeling of BNCT pilot plant used a collimator for a 30 MeV cyclotron neutron sources which had been designed from the past research. Radiation shielding modeling for treatment room used MCNPX software. The radiation shielding was concrete baryte on each side that includes coated borated polyethylene 2 cm thick and it is featured with a sliding door with dimensions 220 × 87 × 200 cm coated with stainless steels 2 cm thick. Results obtained value equivalent dose rate of neutron and gamma of each 41.5 µSv.h-1 and 2.05 µSv.h-1. Status gizi sangat penting untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak akan teetapi sebagian ibu belu mengerti dan memperhatikan kandungan gizi yang diberikan pada anak. Komprehensif Feeding practice yang dilakukan keluarga dengan benar akan bermanfaat bagi perkembangan fisik, mental, emosi anak. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisa hubungan Komprehensif Feeding Practices Dengan Status Nutrisi Anak Usia Dini Di Desa Cumedak Kabupaten Jember. Desain dari penelitian ini mengunakan desain observasional korelatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Te knik sampling dalam penelitian ini mengunakan non probability sampling. Kuisioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah CFPQ (Comprehensive Feeding Practice Questionery) dan Nilai Z Score. Hasil Uji korelatif menunjukkan dengan  p value sebesar 0,022 (? < 0,05) yang berarti Ha diterima dimana ada hubungan antara  Komprehensive Feeding Practice dengan Status Gizi Anak. Praktik pemberian makan yang optimal oleh orang tua dapat dapat meningkatkan status gizi anak. Status gizi akan mengakibatkan keseimbangan bagi tubuh hal ini dikarenakan makanan yang diserap dan keluar dari tubuh telah diperhatikan. Aims of Research : To study about physiotherapy management in reducing pain, increasing range of motion and increase muscle strength in the case of Frozen Shoulder capsulitis due adhiseva using modalities Ultra Sound (US), Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulatiom (TENS) and Therapeutic Exercise (TL). Results: After terapy for about six times the obtained results of the assessment of T1 motion pain: 8, a T6: 4, tenderness T1: 5, a T6: 3, painful silence T1: 2, a T6 : 1, increase range of motion S: T1: 25-0-95, a T6: 45-0-120, F: T1: 65-0-20, a T6: 80-0-45, R (F = 90 ): T1: 20-0-25, a T6: 40-0-40, an increase in shoulder flexor muscle strength T1: 4-, a T6: 4, shoulder extensors T1: 4-, a T6: 4+, abduktor shoulder T1: 3 , a T6: 4, shoulder adductor T1: 3, a T6: 4, exorotator shoulder T1: 3, a T6: 4, endorotator shoulder T1: 3, to: 4.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji keterbacaan modul terhadap modul TANZPRO-Biodanza yang dibuat oleh Stueck & Villegas pada tahun 1998. Modul asli diujicobakan pertama kali pada tahun 1998 oleh Stueck, Villegas, Schroder, Terren, Toro, Sack, Balzer, Mazarella, dan Toro (. TANZPRO-Biodanza adalah bagian dari konsep School of Empathy, sebuah konsep yang mengintegrasikan tentang konsep komunikasi nonverbal dari Martha Rosenberg dan paradigma biosentris TANZPRO-Biodanza dari Rolando Toro. TANZPRO-Biodanza adalah sebuah pelatihan emosi yang memungkinkan para peserta untuk mengalami pentingnya emosi; khususnya perasaan dan penggunaan emosi untuk mengelola diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain educational research and design (Borg dan Gall dalam Simoneau, 2007). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 anak laki-laki dan perempuan berusia 9-10 tahun. Empat sesi TANZPRO-Biodanza diberikan kepada anak-anak, yaitu Spain, Egypt, Tanzania, dan China. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Hasil uji keterbacaan modul menunjukkan bahwa translasi bahasa termasuk dalam kategori baik (skor 75 – 92.5 dari rentang skor penilaian 0 – 100). Selain itu, sebagian besar sesi dapat diterapkan pada subjek anak-anak Indonesia. Namun masih ada sesi yang perlu disesuaikan dengan budaya Indonesia.     The purpose of this study was to determine student thinking styles in solving mathematical problems in integer count operations material through the Realistic Mathematical Approach (PMRI) assisted by colored paper media. Learning at the primary school level tends to be textbook oriented and conventional so that it requires student learning innovation that can facilitate mathematics learning. The realistic mathematics approach (PMRI) is one of the innovations that connect student real world with learning mathematics in solving mathematical problems. In the world of education, the characteristics of students' thinking styles in learning are not taken into account, which should be considered in learning. Peaget's development theory states that elementary school students fall into the category of concrete operations stages so that researchers use colored paper media to assist students in understanding the operations of addition and subtraction of integers
