European Approaches to Fighting Terrorism
PÄ senare tid har smarta mobila enheter fÄtt en allt större roll i vardagen och det finns en uppsjö av applikationer till dessa. Den som Àr uppmÀrksam kan upptÀcka att prestandan och anvÀndarupplevelsen kan variera kraftigt mellan olika applikationer. Prestandaoptimering Àr en viktig del i utvecklingsprocessen för mobila applikationer eftersom mobila enheter ofta har betydligt mer begrÀnsade resurser jÀmfört med till exempel persondatorer. Eftersom prestanda Àr komplext med mÄnga faktorer som spelar in kan man anvÀnda sig av verktyg för att underlÀtta optimeringsarbetet. För att hitta de mest lÀmpliga verktygen för prestandaoptimering av Android-applikationer har en utvÀrdering av en delmÀngd verktyg som finns pÄ marknaden utförts. UtvÀrderingen har fokuserat pÄ verktygens funktionalitet och effektivitet och mÄlet Àr att utifrÄn utvÀrderingsresultatet ge en rekommendation av de verktyg som Àr lÀmpligast att anvÀnda. Resultatet av utvÀrderingen visade pÄ att alla verktyg som utvÀrderats gav goda indikationer och prestandavinster hos testprogramvaran kunde dokumenteras vid anvÀndning av samtliga verktyg. Det verktyg som var mest heltÀckande gÀllande dess funktionalitet var Traceview, ett profileringsverktyg som kunde anvÀndas för att analysera CPU-prestanda, layout-prestanda och svarstids-prestanda. För att utföra en heltÀckande prestandaoptimering krÀvdes dock kompletterande verktyg för optimeringsomrÄdet minnes-prestanda. Genom arbetet och den resulterade rekommendationen kan utvecklare av Android-applikationer förbÀttra sina arbetsmetoder vid prestandaoptimering, genom att anvÀnda sig av lÀmpliga och effektiva verktyg
Coastal tourism. The economy and the environment
The environment is a major component in the tourist production and the tourist product. This is particularly evident in the case of coastal tourism. However, for the natural resources to be part of the tourist product, important transformations are needed in the space. That is why we say that tourist development involves the creation of a tourist territory. However, when the regional transformations define the tourist model and intensity of the natural resources, we also define the model and intensity of the environmental impact of the tourist development, with the subsequent loss in the quality of the tourist product. In front of this loss, any policies aiming at improving the quality of the tourist product must include obligatory regional planning performance, that is, a regional planning policy.
ANALISIS PENGETAHUAN KOMPETENSI ââTEKNIK DASAR MEMASAKâ PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMKN 9 BANDUNG
This research was motivated by the problems found on the competence of the basic cooking technique in culinary basic subjects in SMKN 9 Bandung, that show 40% of students could not follow the course well in practicum class. The purpose of this research to dig up information on the level of students' knowledge on the competence of the basic cooking technique in terms of dry heat and moist heat methods. Descriptive method was used in this research. The study populations were 144 students. Random sampling was used through 36 hospitality student, class of XI. The results showed that the percentage of students' knowledge of basic cooking technique in terms of the method of dry heat are 71% controlled, and 51% sufficiently controlled in method of wet heat. The conclusion is the level of knowledge of students on cooking techniques are quite good ( 57.5%). It is expected that the students should increase their knowledge in basic culinary by watching culinary channel on TV. --- Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah yang ditemukan pada kompetensi teknik dasar memasak pada Mata Pelajaran Boga Dasar di SMKN 9 Bandung yaitu 40% peserta didik belum memahami dengan baik pada saat mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas praktikum. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali informasi mengenai tingkat pengetahuan siswa pada kompetensi teknik dasar memasak ditinjau dari metode panas kering/dry heat dan Panas basah/moist heat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 144 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling dengan jumlah 36 siswa kels XI Jasa Boga, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa presentase pengetahuan siswa berkaitan dengan teknik dasar memasak ditinjau dari metode panas kering berada pada kriteria dikuasai (71%) sedangkan untuk metode panas basah berada pada kriteria cukup dikuasai (51%) kesimpulanya tingkat pengetahuan siswa pada teknik memasak adalah cukup baik (57,5%). Diharapkan agar siswa mengoptimalkan pengetahuan dengan lebih aktif untuk menonton acara TV yang menanyangkan proses pembuatan hidangan untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang teknik dasar memasak
âDESARROLLO TERRITORIAL Y PROCESOS DE INNOVACIĂN: LOS MILIEUX INNOVATEURSâ
Recent theories on regional development emphasize the contribution of endogenous variables. Capacity of generation and transmission of innovations are, in this context, privileged. In this paper variable one of this theoretical perspectives, the milieux innovateurs, is analysed giving special attention to the territorial dynamics of innovation and its role the territorial development process. The objective of this paper is to carry out a critical analysis of this contribution. The concepts of endogenous innovation, the reseaux d'innovation and the milieux innovaters are crucial. Organization plays an important role in the innovation process. And, given the links existing between organization and agglomeration, we can evidence the importance of the territory and of the local variables in the innovation.Las nuevas teorĂas explicativas del desarrollo econĂłmico regional enfatizan la contribuciĂłn al mismo de las variables endĂłgenas. Entre Ă©stas se cita la capacidad de generaciĂłn y transmisiĂłn de las innovaciones de ciertos territorios. En este trabajo se analiza uno de los planteamientos teĂłricos que prestan especial atenciĂłn a la dinĂĄmica territorial de la innovaciĂłn y al papel de la misma en el proceso de desarrollo territorial: los milieux innovateurs. El objetivo de este trabajo es, justamente, realizar una aproximaciĂłn al contenido de esta aportaciĂłn. Dentro de la misma, los conceptos de endogenizaciĂłn de la innovaciĂłn, reseaux d'innovation y milieux innovaters son cruciales. Eco-innovation: Tools to facilitate early-stage workshops
This thesis was submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and awarded by Brunel University.This thesis presents research carried out into the use of creative tools at the early stages of eco-innovation. Eco-innovation is a practical approach aiming to develop new products and processes which significantly decrease our impact on the environment. Designers are trained to develop profitable products that increase production and consumption. Eco-innovation is a new discipline in which designers can radically reduce the environmental burdens of production and consumption through the innovation of new types of products and services.
The main aim of this research was to develop an approach that would promote significant environmental improvements whilst remaining a practical, design-focused discipline. Problems and under-investigated aspects of eco-innovation were identified:
âą Creative approaches at early stages of eco-innovation were under-investigated and few tools had been developed for use at the early stages.
âą Empirical design research techniques had rarely been used to assess new eco-innovation tools or to inform their subsequent development.
The focus of the research work was the development and testing of tools to facilitate workshops at the early stages of eco-innovation. Not only was the goal to facilitate the generation of radical ideas but also to ensure that these were developed into appropriate solutions having the potential to be taken up in industry. The development of the tools was based on literature research, worked examples and interviews. The tools were tested in controlled workshop experiments and the results were analysed using various empirical techniques.
First, an idea-recording technique to improve the efficiency of generating and harvesting ideas in a team design process was developed. This novel tool was called the Product Ideas Tree (PIT) diagram. The tool was tested for its ability to facilitate design workshops. Secondly, a structured approach to innovation - the theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ) - was investigated. Worked examples using some of the tools from TRIZ were presented and a limited number of tools were selected and simplified for testing in team design workshops. The PIT diagram and TRIZ tools experiments established which attributes of the tools and approaches were most beneficial.
The development and testing of these specific tools provided the following general contributions to eco-innovation:
âą A model for eco-innovation that describes the factors influencing the discipline and the attributes of good practice.
âą A recommended process to transform radical ideas into appropriate solutions to improve their potential to be taken up in industry.
âą General insights into the use of tools in early-stage workshops such as: tool selection, integration into existing processes, system-level problem solving and providing thematic information.
âą Suggested improvements for testing tools in controlled workshop experiments.EPSR
Meningkatkan Keterampilan Siswa Dalam Melakukan Operasi Hitung Campuran Dengan Menggunakan Media Stik Es Krim Pada Siswa Kelas III C1 Di Slb-C âYPLBâ Blitar
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahwa penggunaan dan penerapan media stik es krim dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam melakukan operasional hitung campuran sampai 10 pada siswa kelas III C1 di SLB-C âYPLBâ Blitar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian sebanyak 7 siswa kelas III C1 di SLB-C âYPLBâ Blitar pada Semester II. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dan penerapan media stik es krim dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam melakukan operasional hitung campuran sampai 10 pada siswa kelas III C1 di SLB-C âYPLBâ Blitar. Bukti dari peningkatan kemampuan siswa tersebut dapat dilihat pada peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dalam belajar yaitu pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 56,28 dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata 67,00 yang berarti ada peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam belajar
