La relación metodológica entre las webquest y el portafolio para la educación en valores

El presente trabajo expone la experiencia con las WebQuest como una metodología alternativa de enseñanza, aprendizaje y evaluación centrada en el estudiante de Educación Primaria. Este estudio forma parte de un proyecto financiado por la Fundación Marcelino Botín, desarrollado en Cantabria, en el que se pretende investigar de forma intensiva diversos recursos y estrategias didácticas para promover el desarrollo de valores en la población escolar. Las autoras crean un Programa de Educación Musical y Valores: "¿Escuchar te importa? Moviliza tus valores", diseñando y aplicando WebQuest como recurso didáctico para fomentar el trabajo cooperativo y acercar las nuevas tecnologías a los escolares.The present work exposes the experience with the WebQuest as an alternative methodology of education, learning and evaluation centred on the student of Primary Education. On the occurrence of egg masses of the diamondshaped squid Thysanoteuthis rhombus Troschel, 1857 in the subtropical eastern Atlantic (Canary Islands). A potential commercial species?

8 páginas, 2 figuras, 1 tablaData on opportunistic sightings of diamond-shaped squid Thysanoteuthis rhombus egg masses in the Canary Islands (Atlantic Ocean) are presented. A total of 16 egg masses of this species were recorded and photographed from 2000 to 2010 around the western islands of the archipelago (El Hierro, Tenerife and La Gomera). These data reveal the existence of an important spawning area for diamond-shaped squid around the Canary Islands, in subtropical east Atlantic waters. Subcellular forms and biochemical events triggered in human cells by HCV polyprotein expression from a viral vector

To identify the subcellular forms and biochemical events induced in human cells after HCV polyprotein expression, we have used a robust cell culture system based on vaccinia virus (VACV) that efficiently expresses in infected cells the structural and nonstructural proteins of HCV from genotype 1b (VT7-HCV7.9). As determined by confocal microscopy, HCV proteins expressed from VT7-HCV7.9 localize largely in a globular-like distribution pattern in the cytoplasm, with some proteins co-localizing with the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and mitochondria. As examined by electron microscopy, HCV proteins induced formation of large electron-dense cytoplasmic structures derived from the ER and containing HCV proteins. In the course of HCV protein production, there is disruption of the Golgi apparatus, loss of spatial organization of the ER, appearance of some "virus-like" structures and swelling of mitochondria. Biochemical analysis demonstrate that HCV proteins bring about the activation of initiator and effector caspases followed by severe apoptosis and mitochondria dysfunction, hallmarks of HCV cell injury. Microarray analysis revealed that HCV polyprotein expression modulated transcription of genes associated with lipid metabolism, oxidative stress, apoptosis, and cellular proliferation. Our findings demonstrate the uniqueness of the VT7-HCV7.9 system to characterize morphological and biochemical events related to HCV pathogenesis

We understand that financial decisions in world ambit play a fundamental role inside the diverse aspects of finances. These aspects are being integrated inside a field that every time is enlarged more, putting emphasis on improvement of taking of decisions that without doubts consumes part of the time of businessmen in the entire world. Projects evaluation has become a high-priority instrument among the economic agents that participate in the assignment of resources to implement investment initiatives, this technique should be taken as a possibility of providing more information to who should decide, it makes possible to reject a non-profitable project and to accept one profitable. The objective the present article is to explain the study of projects evaluation in the ambit of science and technology and to embrace aspects on public administration, as social unit whose essential purpose is the creation of public value, to make possible and fruitful the human coexistence, based on its relationship and coincidence with managerial tools, with projects evaluation and the Square of Integral Control.Entendemos que las decisiones financieras en el ámbito mundial juegan un rol fundamental dentro de los diversos aspectos de las finanzas. Oxidative stress is tightly regulated by cytochrome c phosphorylation and respirasome factors in mitochondria

Respiratory cytochrome c has been found to be phosphorylated at tyrosine 97 in the postischemic brain upon neuroprotective insulin treatment, but how such posttranslational modification affects mitochondrial metabolism is unclear. Here, we report the structural features and functional behavior of a phosphomimetic cytochrome c mutant, which was generated by site-specific incorporation at position 97 of p-carboxymethyl-l-phenylalanine using the evolved tRNA synthetase method. We found that the point mutation does not alter the overall folding and heme environment of cytochrome c, but significantly affects the entire oxidative phosphorylation process. In fact, the electron donation rate of the mutant heme protein to cytochrome c oxidase, or complex IV, within respiratory supercomplexes was higher than that of the wild-type species, in agreement with the observed decrease in reactive oxygen species production. Direct contact of cytochrome c with the respiratory supercomplex factor HIGD1A (hypoxia-inducible domain family member 1A) is reported here, with the mutant heme protein exhibiting a lower affinity than the wild-type species. Interestingly, phosphomimetic cytochrome c also exhibited a lower caspase-3 activation activity. Altogether, these findings yield a better understanding of the molecular basis for mitochondrial metabolism in acute diseases, such as brain ischemia, and thus could allow the use of phosphomimetic cytochrome c as a neuroprotector with therapeutic applications.España, Junta de Andalucía BIO-198España MINECO BFU2015-71017/BM

Danio Rerio as Model Organism for Adenoviral Vector Evaluation

Viral vector use is wide-spread in the field of gene therapy, with new clinical trials starting every year for different human pathologies and a growing number of agents being approved by regulatory agencies. However, preclinical testing is long and expensive, especially during the early stages of development. Nowadays, the model organism par excellence is the mouse (Mus musculus), and there are few investigations in which alternative models are used. Here, we assess the possibility of using zebrafish (Danio rerio) as an in vivo model for adenoviral vectors. We describe how E1/E3-deleted adenoviral vectors achieve efficient transduction when they are administered to zebrafish embryos via intracranial injection. In addition, helper-dependent (high-capacity) adenoviral vectors allow sustained transgene expression in this organism. Relación de la lealtad y la confianza en los usuarios de servicios móviles en tiempos de pandemia

Recordemos que los conceptos de lealtad y confianza son de los temas más tratados dentro de la mercadotecnia, pero son estudiados por ser temas complicado que no tiene un concepto unificado sobre su definición y medición (Colmenares & Saavedra, 2007). El objetivo de este trabajo es dar a conocer la relación existente entre la confianza y la lealtad de los consumidores de servicios móviles de la Zona Noreste de México comprendido entre los estados de Tamaulipas y Nuevo León, cuando estos presentan escenarios de fallo en tiempos difíciles como la pandemia, con ello ayudar a entender a los empresarios, como el consumidor se comporta cuando existe esa relación, con ello se ayudará a implementar estrategias que contribuyan al desarrollo de las organizaciones. El siguiente estudio es un estudio cuantitativo empírico con un alcance correlacional explicativo, no experimental, donde se aplicó un cuestionario como instrumento de recolección de datos a una muestra de 356 participantes, mayores de 18 años y usuarios de telefonía móvil, utilizando una técnica estadística de Ecuaciones Estructurales, los resultados encontrados se explica que la lealtad tiene una relación significativa, directa con atribuciones positivas en la confianza de los consumidores, reduciendo expectativas negativas de la experiencia del servicio del client
