    Research of multi-response optimization of milling process of hardened S50C steel using minimum quantity lubrication of Vietnamese peanut oil

    This study aims to build a regression model when surveying the milling process on S50C steel using Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) of Vietnamese peanut oil-based on Response Surface Methodology. The paper analyses and evaluates the effect of cutting parameters, flow rates, and pressures in minimum quantity lubrication system on cutting force and surface roughness in the milling process of S50C carbon steel materials after heat treatment (reaching a hardness of 52 HRC). The Taguchi method, one of the most effective experimental planning methods nowadays, is used in this study. The statistical analysis software, namely Minitab 19, is utilized to build a regression model between parameters of the cutting process, flow rates and pressures of the minimum quantity lubrication system and the cutting force, surface roughness of the part when machining on a 5-axis CNC milling machine. Thereby analyzing and predicting the effect of cutting parameters and minimum quantity lubrication conditions on the surface roughness and cutting force during machining to determine the influence level them. In this work, the regression models of Ra and F were achieved by using the optimizer tool in Minitab 19. Moreover, the multi-response optimization problem was solved. The optimum cutting parameters and lubricating conditions are as follows: Cutting velocity Vc=190.909 m/min, feed rate fz=0.02 mm/tooth, axial depth of cut ap=0.1 and nozzle pressure P=5.596 MPa, flow rate Q=108.887 ml/h. The output parameters obtained from the above parameters are Ra=0.0586  and F=162.035 N, respectively.     Mobile Services Meet Distributed Cloud: Benefits, Applications, and Challenges

    As the explosive growth of smart devices and enormous new applications, the variety of corresponding cloud services has been growing quickly. The conventional centralized cloud was faced with an overhead on backhaul links and high latency. Accordingly, a decentralized cloud paradigm including edge computing, mobile edge computing, cloudlet, and so on, was introduced to distribute cloud services to the edge network which located in proximity to mobile devices few years ago. However, this paradigm was not paid attention at that time since cloud technology and mobile network communication were immature to motivate mobile services. Recently, with the overwhelming growth of mobile communication technology and cloud technology, distributed cloud is emerging as a paradigm well equipped with technologies to support a broad range of mobile services. The 5G mobile communication technology provides high-speed data and low latency. Cloud services can be automatically deployed in the edge networks quickly and easily. Distributed cloud can prove itself to bring many benefits for mobile service such as reducing network latency, as well as computational and network overhead at the central cloud. Besides, we present some applications to emphasize the necessity of distributed cloud for mobile service and discuss further technical challenges in distributed cloud

    Factors affecting green food purchase intention in Ho Chi Minh City

    This study adopts Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to measure factors affecting green food purchase intention in Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC). The survey data was collected from 197 students during the period of 1st to 20th September, 2017. Testing the conceptual model by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), we find that perceived usefulness of green food and perceived ease of purchase impact on attitudes towards green food purchase. We also find that subjective norm, perceived usefulness of green food, attitudes towards green food purchase are positively associated with green food purchase intention. From the research findings, some recommendations are proposed accordingly
