Investigation of the effect of space flight factors on chromosomes in seeds
Frequency of mutations in postflight air-dry Crepis capillaris seeds, kept for five days aboard an artificial satellite was 36.0 + or - 1.9%, vs. 19.01 + or - 1.2% for seeds in a similar ground experiment. Both groups of seeds were prepared in identical concentrations and were treated by the same mutagen. The spectrum of mutations in postflight Crepis capillaris seeds contained a large number of chromosome-type mutations and some cells showed multiple alterations. Postflight seeds not treated with mutagens had a slightly higher level of mutability
Proliferative activity in ovarian endometrrioma
Endometriosis shows features similar to neoplasia, which recently increased interest in the monoclonal antigen Ki-67. The aim of the study was to study the expression of Ki-67 in the operated ovarian endometriomas in women of reproductive age. Materials of the study were 32 patients with ovarian endometriomas and 30 patients with tubal infertility in the control group who underwent surgical treatment. Immunohistochemical study was performed by avidin-biotin-peroxidase method according to the standard method. Evaluated the number of positively colored cells using rabbit monoclonal antibodies to Ki-67. In 68.75% of patients with operated endometriomas, active proliferation in ovarian formations is observed, which is manifested by increased expression of oncoprotein Ki-67 in the glandular epithelium, in the cytogenic stroma of the endometrium and in surrounding vessels. There is a direct correlation between the level of Ki-67 expression and the prevalence of the endometriomas
Formation of Consumption Properties of Sweet Pepper (Capsicum Annuum L.) Sauce
The aim of the study is to form consumption properties of a green sweet pepper sauce with a balanced content of macro- and microelements. Due to the use of Xanthium strumarium and chitosan a new product has high organoleptic properties that attract a consumer and increase its competitiveness at the market.Sweet green pepper that relates to most valuable vegetable cultures as to food value and taste was chosen as a main component of a sauce. For giving it a necessary consistence and for decreasing a time of thermal processing, there was used chitosan. According to results of the conducted studies, it was established, that among studied types of chitosan, advantages as to forming a consistence belongs to food acid-soluble chitosan with particle sizes up to 0,5 mm in amount 0,5 %.For preserving the natural green color, pepper fruits were preliminarily processed in 1 % decoction of Xanthium strumarium at temperature 75ΒΊΠ‘ during 15 min. For increasing its food value, the recipe was added with spicy-aromatic vegetable raw materials: garlic, dill, parsley, celery.The sauce quality was formed by mathematical modeling using general criteria of optimization of organoleptic parameters. There were also determined specific criteria of optimization of the recipe composition taking into account their daily need. As a result of the conducted studies the composition of recipe components for the sauce was optimized: sweet pepper 80 %, garlic leaves β 5 %, parsley leaves,dill β 5 %, celery leaves β 5 %, salt β 1,5 %, sugar β 0,5 %, chitosan β 0,5 %.There were studied organoleptic parameters of the developed sauce, characterized by a pleasant bright-green color, homogenous paste-like consistence, pleasant taste and smell. The used stabilizing factors allowed to get the sauce with the increased content of essential factors of nutrition. They participate in the increase of protective forces of the organism, so allow to recommend them in prophylactic, child and dietary nutrition
Advanced standard operating procedures for survey of buildings and structures of metallurgical production
This article presents modern methods for determination of the depth of various types of foundations at the metallurgical industry facilities. It was decided to use modern geophysical research methods, such as seismic exploration methods in order to solve the tasks for determination of depth of pile foundations and deep foundations under conditions of operating production metallurgical site. Geometric parameters of foundations can be measured using engineering seismic equipment, and three-component measurement data shall be processed by means of specific processing flow. The use of coherency procedures makes it possible to separate the dedicated phases of reflection from the foundation bottom in the wave pattern. Reproducibility of results of foundation bottom laying depth with actual depth was checked using engineering seismic recording systems by uncovering of foundation check pit-holes at the blast furnace complex facilities No. 7 of JSC EVRAZ NTMK. The measurement accuracy of pile foundations and spread foundations equal to 0.5 meters was achieved by means of seismic techniques as a result of the measurements conducted at the metallurgical production facilities. Favorable results of laparoscopic operations for colorectal cancer are associated with low traumatic interventions. Laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery is an alternative to traditional operations and can be made in adequate volume. Some novel ways of gastric cancer patients treatment personification
In this paper the authors perform the analysis of molecular and morphological factors
influencing the survival of patients with gastric cancer (n = 221). They analyzed the survival
rate in this group of patients based on the analysis of molecular markers VEGFR, p53, Her2,
Ki-67. Measured role in the survival such factors as the degree of differentiation of primary
gastric tumors, the presence of microscopic tumor involvement of perineural and perivascular
spaces, the degree of invasion to gastric wall by T1 = 1 and to T4a = 4, T4b = 5, number of
regional lymph nodes affected by metastasis, and other factors. As an arbitrator used survival
curves calculated by the method of R. J. Cox, time of lifespan, measured in months, as well as
a comparison of the areas under the curves of survival
