    Pola Retorika Abstrak dan Pendahuluan Artikel Jurnal Litera dan Relevansinya dengan Pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Perguruan Tinggi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola retorika (1) bagian Abstrak dan (2) Pendahuluan artikel dalam jurnal Litera dan (3) relevansinya dengan pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Perguruan Tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah teks berupa abstrak dan pendahuluan artikel ilmiah yang terkumpul dalam jurnal Litera dari volume 13 Nomor 01 yang terbit tahun 2014 hingga volume 14 Nomor 01 tahun 2015. Teknik pengumpulan data yang berupa teks dilakukan dengan teknik analisis dokumen, teknik baca catat, dan teknik kepustakaan, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang berupa hasil wawancara dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis teks interaktif yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman berdasarkan teori CARS yang dikemukakan oleh Swales (1990) dan teori 4 Move Abstrak oleh Bhatia (1993). Validitas data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber atau data. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) bagian Abstrak dalam jurnal Litera tidak memiliki kelengkapan struktur seperti yang dikemukakan Bhatia (1993), dari dua puluh empat artikel, hanya delapan artikel yang memiliki pola retorika Abstrak yang lengkap dan sisanya sebanyak enam belas artikel tidak memiliki move yang lengkap (2) bagian Pendahuluan dalam jurnal Litera juga tidak menunjukkan adanya kelengkapan struktur seeprti yang dikemukakan Swales (1990), dari dua puluh emapt artikel hanya tiga Pendahuluan yang memiliki pola yang lengkap, (3) hasil wawancara dengan dosen pengajar dan isi silabus MKU Bahasa Indonesia di UNS, menunjukkan bahwa penelitian ini relevan dengan pengajaran mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia.     Tata cara pelaksanaan serta prosedur pemidanaan pelatihan kerja sebagai sanksi pidana terhadap anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum tidak terdapat penjelasannya secara mendalam di dalam undang-undang maupun peraturan yang ada. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah penjatuhan sanksi pidana pelatihan kerja terhadap anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum di Balai Perlindungan dan Rehabilitasi Sleman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah normatif yaitu jenis penelitian yang bersumber dari bahan hukum primer yang terdiri dari undang-undang, bahan hukum sekunder yang terdiri dari doktrin, hasil penelitian, serta jurnal, dan dilakukan wawancara kepada Kepala Seksi Perlindungan dan Rehabilitasi Sosial di BPRSR Sleman yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil dari penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penjatuhan sanksi pidana pelatihan kerja terhadap anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum itu di lakukan dengan cara melatih anak untuk terjun bekerja secara langsung bukan di latih untuk ketrampilan. Kesimpulannya adalah penjatuhan sanksi pidana pelatihan kerja terhadap anak yaitu anak di latih untuk bekerja dan untuk menyelesaikan pidana tersebut dibantu oleh pekerja sosial.Kata kunci       : Anak Yang Berhadapan Dengan Hukum, Pelatihan Kerja, Tujuan Pemidanaan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model keterkaitan Memorable Tourist Experience, Experiential Marketing dan Tourist Value terhadap Revisit Intention wisatawan nusantara pada destinasi wisata di Kota Padang. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Memorable Tourist Experience, Experiential Marketing dan Tourist Value berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Revisit Intention. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa Memorable Tourist Experience, Experiential Marketing dan Tourist Value menjadi daya tarik tersendiri untuk melakukan Revisit Intention pada destinasi wisata di Kota Padang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 175 wisatawan nusantara yang sudah dua kali mengunjungi destinasi wisata di Kota Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode descriptive survey dan explanatory survey. Tipe penyelidikan dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe kausal dan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling dengan cakupan waktu bersifat cross section/ one shot, sedangkan pengolahan data menggunakan software SPSS 16.0 dan Smart-PLS 2.0.     Influence of Exposing Root Canal Dentin to Calcium Hydroxide on Its Flexural Strength

    Calcium hydroxide has been used extensively in endodontic treatments, for instance as an intra-canal dressing; however, the exposure of root canal dentin to calcium hydroxide may affect its flexural strength and could have important clinical implications for endodontic treatment. The purpose of this in vitro study was to investigate the influence of calcium hydroxide on the flexural strength of root canal dentin.Seventy-two extracted single-rooted human mandibular premolars were used in this study. Each tooth was instrumented using crown-down technique and was irrigated using sterile saline. The teeth were assigned into three groups of 24 each. The prepared root canal system of each tooth was filled with calcium hydroxide mixed with sterile saline (group 1), a calcium hydroxide commercially available product (UltraCal®) (group 2) or saline solution (group 3, as control). The apices and access opening were sealed using composite resin, and the teeth were immersed in artificial saliva. After 7, 14 and 30 days of immersion, the inner root canal dentin of 8 teeth respectively from each group were sectioned to create dentin bars (1 X 1 mm, with 7 mm in length). Each dentin bar then was subjected to a three-point bending flexural test using MTS (Universal Testing Machine). Data gathered were then analyzed using two-way ANOVA, followed by Tukey's test with the level of significance of 95%. The results showed that exposure to calcium hydroxide either using calcium hydroxide mixed with sterile saline or UltraCal® for 14 and 30 days can reduce flexural strength of root canal dentin compared to control group (p0.05). It can be concluded that calcium hydroxide reduced the flexural strength of root canal dentin. The longer the exposure to calcium hydroxide would produce a greater effect on flexural strength of root canal dentin

    This developmental research aims to produce Musschenbroek's apparatus with practice’s guidance that not only can be utilized to determine compare coefficient effervesces length an object but can also be utilized to account coefficient point effervesces length and build inquiry’s student. Development that doing based on ADDIE'S model. Procedure of this research and development is consisting of five phases, which is analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Result of this development is acquired Musschenbroek's apparatus that can applicable to account coefficient point effervesces length and practice’s guidance that can build inquiry’s student. Musschenbroek's apparatus that designing is interesting, easy, and very helpful for student bases on the result of field test. Developed practice’s guidance have also interesting, easy, and helpful. Practice's guidance load learning steps that corresponding to build inquiry’s student with pretty good category, which is on aspect makes hypothesis, collecting data, testing hypothesis, and formulates conclusion. Learning used Musschenbroek's apparatus and practice’s guidance effective to increase student learning result with category moderate (n-gain = 0,57)

    The effect of different drying methods on cuspal displacement resulting from stress-induced shrinkage of demineralized dentin

    Bonding pada restorasi dengan bahan resin komposit biasanya memerlukan prosedur pengeringan pada permukaan dentin, akan tetapi prosedur pengeringan itu sendiri kemungkinan dapat menyebabkan matriks kolagen dalam dentin mengalami kolaps, yang selanjutnya dapat mengakibatkan dentin yang telah didemineralisasi mengalami pengkerutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bebeberapa macam cara pengeringan yaitu blot, mildly dan strongly terhadap pergeseran kuspal gigi yang disebabkan oleh adanya tekanan pengkerutan pada dentin yang telah didemineralisasi. Pada penelitian ini digunakan 30 gigi premolar yang utuh dan bebas karies. Gigi disillJpandi dalam larutan Chloramin T 1%. Akar gigi dipotong 3 mm di bawah cemento-enamel junction (CEJ). Kemudian dilakukan preparasi kavitas MOD. Untuk mengukur besarnya pergeseran kuspal gigi digunakan Direct Current Diferential Transformers (DCDTs). Setiap gigi dilakukan pengetsaan selama 15 detik dengan asam phosphoric 37,5% dan kemudian dicuci selama 10 detik dengan semprotan air. Pengukuran pergeseran kuspal gigi dilakukan pada waktu baseline (5 menit) dan pada waktu prosedur pengeringan (20 detik). Data kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis varians satu jalur diikuti oleh test Tukey\u27s. Pergeseran kuspal gigi mencapai 6.5 µm terjadi pada waktu dilakukan prosedur pengeringan.     Effect of antioxidants on the shear bond strength of composite resin to enamel following extra-coronal bleaching

    Recently patients need faster treatments, and delaying restoration is not possible following bleaching treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of antioxidants, namely 10% sodium ascorbate, 10% alpha-tocopherol, 10% green tea and 10% Aloe vera extract on the shear bond strength of composite resin to enamel following extra-coronal bleaching using 40% hydrogen peroxide. Seventy premolars were randomly assigned into 7 groups of 10 each. Group 1: bleaching treatment and no antioxidants application. Group 2: composite was built-up immediately after bleaching. Group 3: bleached specimens received composite build-up delayed by 2 weeks. Group 4, 5, 6 and 7: bleached specimens received an application of 10% sodium ascorbate, 10% alpha-tocopherol, 10% green tea, and 10% Aloe vera before composite build-up. Specimens were immersed in artificial saliva, stored in an incubator 37°C (24 hours), thermocycling, and tested using a universal testing machine. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and Tukey?s test with 95% level of significance. Bleaching caused significantly reduced shear bond strength (p0.05). Application of antioxidants increased the shear bond strength of composite resin to enamel following extra-coronal bleaching using 40% hydrogen peroxide. 10% sodium ascorbate, 10% alpha-tocopherol, 10% green tea and 10% Aloe vera extracts produced the same effect on the shear bond strength of composite resin to enamel following extra-coronal bleaching using 40% hydrogen peroxide

    The effect of sisal (Agave Sisalana) nanofiber in epoxy resin sealer on root canal obturation’s push-out bond strength

    Sisal nanofiber can be used as an additional filler to increase the adhesion strength of the resin epoxy sealer. The aim of this study was to observe the effect of sisal nanofiber addition to epoxy resin sealer on push-out bond strength of root canal obturation material against the root canals. Twenty-five mandibular premolars (n= 25) were prepared until file F3 and obturated using 0%, 0.25%, 0.5%, 0.75%, and 1% sisal nanofiber sealer. After the specimens were stored at incubator, they were horizontally sectioned at apical third. Root sections were tested with push-out technique, and observed under a stereo microscope to determine the failure type. Data were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and LSD pos hoc at 95% confidence level (α=0.05). A one-way ANOVA test revealed that the addition of sisal nanofiber in epoxy resin sealer had a significant effect on the push out bond strength of the obturation material against the root canals. The failure type was observed predominantly in the cohesive type and the lowest in the adhesive type. The addition of sisal nanofiber to the epoxy resin sealer could increase the push-out bond strength of the obturation material against the root canals. Epoxy resin sealers with the addition of sisal nanofiber at a concentration group of 0.75% resulted in the highest push-out strength of root canal obturation materials followed by 0.5% concentration group

    Functional Crown Lengthening: Biological Width Correction

    Introduction: Functional crown lengthening is one of the most common surgical procedures that facilitating restorative treatment. It was done on teeth with inadequate clinical crowns in the presence of deep and subgingival pathologies. Inadequate clinical crowns defined as tooth with less than 2 mm cervico-incisal of sound. Case Report: The 32 years old female patient complained on broken restoration on upper left anterior tooth since one week ago. He also complained about upper right anterior tooth that turned brown. The tooth had received root canal treatment with direct composite restoration since 3 years ago, but the restoration on tooth 11 and 21 was broken. The remaining crown on tooth 11 and 21 was less than 2 mm. The periapical radiograph examination showed tooth 11 and 21 was non-hermetic obturation. Functional crown lengthening and root canal treatment was performed on teeth 11 and 21, with porcelain crown restoration and fiber post. Conclusion: Functional crown lengthening result affects the quality of post retreatment restoration. The success of functional crown lengthening is marked by no recurrent gingival hyperplasia after functional crown lengthening
