    Get PDF
The purpose of this study is to show how ensemble learning-driven machine learning algorithms outperform individual machine learning algorithms at predicting ovarian cancer on a biomarker dataset. Additionally, this study provides model explanations using explainable Artificial Intelligence methods, The method involved gathering and combining 49 risk factors from 349 patients. We hypothesize that ensemble machine learning systems are superior to individual Machine Learning systems in predicting ovarian cancer. The Machine Learning system consists of five individual Machine Learning and five ensemble Machine Learning systems were trained using K-10 cross validation protocols. These training models were then used to predict the development of benign ovarian tumors and ovarian cancer tumors patients. The AUC and Accuracy metrics for ensemble machine learning increased by 19% and 16%. The MCC and Kappa scores for ensemble Machine Learning also increased over individual machine learning by 29% and 33%, respectively. As a result, we draw the conclusion that ensembled-based algorithms outperform individual machine learning in terms of ovarian carcinoma prediction

    Get PDF
This paper numerically explores the effect of heat transfer on Jeffrey fluid flow over a horizontal stretching sheet in the absence of magnetic field and under chemical reaction. The governing coupled nonlinear momentum, thermal, concentration boundary layer equations are rendered into a system of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations through similarity transformation with suitable boundary conditions. The obtained fourth order and second order differential equations are reduced to first order ordinary differential equations using shooting method then it is numerically solved using bvp4c in MATLAB. This present investigation is of great interest relevant to colling of metallic plates, polishing of artificial heart valves and separation processes in chemical industries

Privacy and security have emerged as an important research issue in mobile Networks wireless communication, Mobile device based data scattering applications that use these abilities. This paper proposes TurfCast, a novel data spread administration that specifically communicates data specifically "turfs," conceptual coherent spaces in which beneficiaries are arranged. Such turfs can be transient or spatial in view of recipients' waiting time or physical zones, individually. TurfCast has numerous applications, for example, electronic nearness promoting and mobile long range interpersonal communication. The individuals who can't get data sufficiently quick get none by any stretch of the imagination, regardless of the possibility that they wait close to the supporter. Numerous secrecy improving strategies have been proposed in view of packet encryption to ensure the communication obscurity of mobile systems. To exhibit how to find the communication designs without unscrambling the caught packets, we show TurfCast. It works latently to perform traffic investigation in view of statistical qualities of caught crude traffic. These are fit for finding the sources, the goals, and the conclusion to-end communication relations. Exact analysiss show that accomplishes great precision in uncovering the shrouded traffic designs

    Get PDF
This research aims to investigate the effect of introducing different mineral admixtures on the mechanical properties of concrete. The research is focused on optimizing the properties of fresh and hardened concrete, looking in particular at how factors such as slump, unit weight, air entrancement, compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength and modulus of elasticity are affected by different mineral admixtures in a concrete mix. Different mineral admixtures are used, namely silica fume, limestone and ultra-fine gypsum, and for the tests each mineral admixture replaced 25 % of the cement. The paper also compares the performance of the fresh and hardened properties of concrete

Background: This study evaluated the effectiveness of Extra-amniotic saline infusion (EASI) in comparison with that of intracervical Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) gel for cervical ripening and induction of labour. Methods: The study conducted in SDM College of Medical College Dharwad, Department of OBG, from December 2012 to November 2013. Consecutive patients with unfavorable cervices requiring pre-induction cervical ripening and induction of labour for various indications were asked to participate in this study. 50 patients (Group A) underwent extra amniotic saline infusion and 50 patients (Group B) underwent PGE2 gel application. Post induction augmentation if required was administered. Labour profile outcomes were compared between the groups. Results: Results were comparable in terms of maternal age, indication for induction in majority of cases, pre-induction Bishop Score, mode of delivery, complications and side effects, neonatal complications, and Apgar Score. The mean post induction Bishop Score was higher in EASI group by an average of 9. The mean duration of augmentation was more in PGE2 group by an average of 2 hrs. The induction delivery interval (IDI) was prolonged by an average of 3.5 hours in PGE2 group. Conclusions: For pre-induction cervical ripening the extra amniotic saline infusion is valid alternative for the PGE2 gel. Both the modes of induction were equally safe and effective in terms of mode of delivery and Apgar Score. EASI, however, had rapid cervical ripening and shorter induction delivery interval

Herein, we report a low cost, green synthesis of unique hierarchical worm-like porous co-doped thin carbon nanosheets from ginger as biomass source using non-toxic NaCl/KCl salt mixture as activation media (unlike conventional toxic activation agents like KOH) for high performance supercapacitor application. The optimized synthesis of Nitrogen, Sulfur-doped activated ginger carbon (DAGC) exhibits micro-meso-macro porous structure, facilitating efficient electrolyte diffusion, appropriate graphitization degree, enhanced surface wettability, and synergistic effects between co-doped heteroatoms for rapid ion transfer. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and Raman spectroscopy studies reveal the partially graphitized walls of carbon and graphitization degree respectively. The DAGC electrode exhibits an excellent specific capacitance of 456 F g−1 at 0.3 A g−1 in three-electrode cell. The assembled symmetric DAGC//DAGC supercapacitor delivers an outstanding specific energy of 48.3 Wh Kg−1 at 400 W kg−1 in comparison to other reported porous carbon with traditional activation method. Moreover, the DAGC supercapacitor device works in high potential region (0–1.4 V) with 1 M Na2SO4 as supporting electrolyte, exhibiting an excellent rate capability and high cyclic stability of 95% after 10000 cycles. All these features of DAGC electrode material make it environment friendly and a competitive entrant for electroactive materials in wide range of applications
