Attacks on Cryptographic Modules

Konvenční způsob kryptoanalýzy je založen na studiu slabin kryptografických algoritmů. Model útoku klasickou kryptoanalýzou zahrnuje pouze matematický popis použitých kryptografických algoritmů. Tento model je bez vazeb na fyzickou implementaci modelu a bez vazeb na reálné provozní podmínky. V současnosti používané kryptografické algoritmy jsou při použití dostatečně dlouhých šifrovacích klíčů v podstatě neprolomitelné a konvenční kryptoanalýza je neefektivní. Nový způsob kryptoanalýzy přináší využití postranních kanálů. Model útoku za použití postranních kanálů je rozšířen o fyzické projevy modulu během průběhu kryptografických operací. Tato disertační práce obsahuje popis kryptografických modulů a zkoumá vliv postranních kanálů na bezpečnost těchto modulů.The conventional way of cryptanalysis is based on the cryptographic algorithms weak points examine. The attack model of conventional cryptanalysis covers mathematical description of the cryptographic algorithm used. This model is not with the relation to the physical model implementation and the real environment. Cryptographic algorithms currently used in the combination with strong cipher keys are almost unbreakable and the conventional cryptanalysis is ineffective. The new way of cryptanalysis employs the side channels. The model of cryptanalysis using side channels is enhanced with physical revelation of module performing the cryptographic operations. This dissertation thesis deals with cryptographic module description and studies influence of side channels to the security of this module.

In this article we give a sufficient condition for interior everywhere Holder continuity of weak minimizers of a class of quadratic functionals with coefficients A(ij)(alpha beta)(center dot, u) belonging to the VMO-class, uniformly with respect to u is an element of R-N, and continuous with respect to u. The condition is global. It is typical for the functionals belonging to the class that the continuity moduli of their coefficients become slowly growing sufficiently far from zero. Import 05/08/2014Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat problematiku IPsec virtuálních privátních sítí a prakticky realizovat různá řešení za použití softwaru strongSwan. Jsou zde realizovány jednotlivé konfigurace s komentáři a konfiguračními soubory. Všechny realizace jsou doplněny o komentáře a podrobné výpisy sestavených spojení. Dále analyzuje problematiku certifikačních autorit, digitálních certifikátů a jejich využití pro vzájemnou autentizaci. K vytvoření a práci s certifikáty je využit program XCA, který slouží i pro import a využití certifikátů v USB tokenech. Závěrem se práce zabývá využitím VPN klienta strongSwan, v mobilních telefonech s operačním systémem Android.The aim of this thesis is to analyse the issues concerning IPsec of virtual private nets and put distinct solutions into practise by using the software strongSwan. Each configurations are implemented with comments and configuration files. All implementations are supplemented with remarks and detailed statements of assembled connection. Thereafter, the thesis analyses the issues of certificate authorities, digital certifications and their application in mutual authentication. The programme XCA is utilized for the creation and work with certifications. It functions as import and utilization of certifications in USB token. Uninterruptible power supply with management system utilizing I2C bus for medical devices

Cílem této diplomové práce je návrh a realizace napájecího zdroje pro lékařský přístroj, zálohovaný pomocí baterie LI-ION. Součástí tohoto zdroje je management komunikující po I2C sběrnici. Elektrické parametry kladené na medicínské napájecí zdroje definuje norma EN 61000-3-2. V případě napájecích zdrojů pro medicínská zařízení je výrazný důraz kladen na zvýšenou elektrickou pevnost. Tyto zdroje musí v případě výpadku síťového napájení dodávat po dobu 2 hodin energii do připojených elektronických zařízení na výstupu. Proto oproti jiným elektrickým zdrojům je volena kombinace primárního a sekundárního okruhu napájení. Primární tvoří napájecí síťový adaptér, jenž dodá-vá potřebný výkon do zátěže a dobíjí záložní baterii. Sekundární je tvořen baterií, která slouží jako záložní zdroj výkonu při výpadku primárního okruhu. U těchto zdrojů jsou kladeny požadavky na minimální hmotnost, rozměry, velkou celkovou účinnost a to i při nabíjení baterie. V této diplomové práci byl navržen a vyvinut napájecí zdroj pro medicínský přístroj, zálohovaný pomocí baterie LI-ION s managementem komunikujícím po I2C sběrnici. Výsledné hodnoty navrženého zdroje jsou 5 V/ 3 A, 12 V/ 1,5 A a -12V/ 0,1 A. Management tohoto zdroje podává informace o tom, zda zdroj je na-pájen z baterie nebo ze sítě, okamžitý stav nabití baterie, teplota baterie. Komunikace probíhá s vnějším řidícím prvkem po sběrnici I2C s rychlostí 100 kb/s.Object my master’s thesis is the design a Medical device uninterruptible power supply with managment system utilizing I2C bus. Norm EN 61000-3-2 define electric parameters for medical device power supply. In case of power supply for medial equipment is expressive accent on increased electric strength. This power supply have usually primary and secondary power circuit. Primary power circuit form line accumulator, which supplies needed output to the load and recharge reserve battery. Secondary is formed battery-pack, which serve as back-up power supply at drop-out prime circle. They have a minimum weight, small proportions, large overall effectivity also charging battery-pack and monitoring battery-pack charging condition. Result whole those master’s thesis is design Medical device uninterruptible power supply with managment system utilizing I2C bus and realization board layout. Resulting characteristics designed supply unit are: Output voltages are 5V/ 3 A , 12V/ 1,5 A and -12V/ 0,1 A. Managment support information about: Line adapter/ battery pack switch, battery-pack charging condition and actuall tempera-ture battery-pack.

Analysis of the Laser Accuracy for Material Cutting

Import 22/07/2015Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou přesnosti laseru pro dělení materiálu. V úvodní teoretické části je proveden rozbor problematiky tepelného dělení materiálu. V další části je proveden návrh měření vybraných vzorků, které se skládaly z konstrukční oceli jakostí S235JRC, S355MC, korozivzdorné oceli X5CrNi18-10. Následně proběhlo samotné měření parametru drsnosti, úchylky kolmosti a rozměrové odchylky Vzorky byly následně vyhodnoceny a zařazeny dle jednotlivých parametrů do tříd přesnosti dle normy ČSN EN ISO 9013.This thesis analyzes the precision of laser for cutting. In the introductory theoretical part analyzes the problems of thermal cutting. The other part is the design of a measurement of selected samples , which consisted of structural steel grades S235JRC , S355MC , stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 . Assuming that the nonlinear part $g(x,u,z)$ is equipped by sub-linear growth in $z$ only for big value of $|z|$ (but the growth is arbitrarily close to the linear one), we prove the Morrey and BMO regularity for gradient of weak solutions
