Mentoring Entrepreneurial Networks : mapping conceptions of participants in technological-based business incubators in Brazil

La agenda de la investigación reciente sobre emprendedores incluye el análisis de las estructuras cognitivas de los empresarios de éxito, revelándose como una herramienta importante a la hora de examinar una trayectoria emprendedora. Mediante técnicas de mapas cognitivos, este estudio explora los conceptos de una trayectoria de éxito y la red en sí misma como un todo, para el desarrollo de esta carrera. Fueron estudiados 53 empresarios en siete viveros tecnológicos de la ciudad de Recife, Pernambuco, Brasil. El objetivo específico de este estudio era situar los significados comunes de los emprendedores del vivero teniendo en cuenta las redes de apoyo informal. Este tipo de redes ofrecen apoyo a la carrera empresarial, y el presente estudio examina tanto las características como el modelo conceptual que subyace bajo éstas. La recolección de datos fue realizada por medio de entrevistas a través de la técnica de evocación libre. Los significados comunes indican la existencia de categorías de pensamiento inherentes que fomentan el contexto de la red en el entorno del vivero, especialmente en las redes-mentor. Los resultados refuerzan la interpretación de un modelo mentor informal que emerge de las evocaciones predominantes respecto a una carrera de éxito y de la red en sí misma como promotora de su desarrollo.The recent entrepreneurship research agenda includes the analysis of cognitive structures of successful entrepreneurs, revealing an important tool for the examination of an entrepreneurial career. Using techniques of cognitive maps, this study explores the concepts of a successful career and the network itself, as a whole, for career development. Fifty-three entrepreneurs were studied, in seven technological incubators in the city of Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. Specifically, this study aimed to map the shared meanings of the incubated entrepreneurs regarding informal support networks. Such networks support the entrepreneurial career and the present study explores the characteristics and the conceptual model that underlies the networks. The data collection was achieved through interviews through a free evocation technique. The shared meanings indicate the existence of inherent thought categories that support network context in the incubator environment, mainly the mentoring networks. The results endorse the interpretation of an informal mentoring model emerging from the dominant evocations concerning a successful career and of the network itself as promoter of career development

The present work is to analyze and discuss the stylistic equivalence of some poems of book Versiprosa (1967), of Carlos Drummond de Andrade, in relation to Chilean Letters (1788), of Tomás Antônio Gonzaga, with the purpose to observe the poetic essence of elements and factors that demonstrate the presence or approach of writing techniques, style and expression of the language used and the Arcadian poet are present in Versiprosa.O presente trabalho tem como propósito analisar e discutir as equivalências estilísticas de alguns poemas do livro Versiprosa (1967), de Carlos Drummond de Andrade, em relação às Cartas Chilenas (1788), de Tomás Antônio Gonzaga, tendo como finalidade constatar a essência poética de elementos e fatores que evidenciem a presença ou a aproximação das técnicas de escrita, de estilo e de expressão da linguagem que o poeta árcade utilizou e se fazem presentes em Versiprosa

Ultrastructural description and cytochemical study of the spermatozoon of Crotallus durissus (Squamata, Serpentes)

The present study was undertaken to elucidate some aspects about the nature of the spermatozoon ultrastructure of Crotallus durissus using cytochemical methods. We also provide for the first time the ultrastructural description of this species spermatozoon. Cytochemical studies of spermatozoa have not been performed so far in the Serpentes, and species spermatozoon may prove helpful to better understand the reproductive biology of this group. Besides the synapomorphies of the Squamata and Serpentes, the C. durissus spermatozoon possess the following: circular acrosome tip; rounded perforatorium tip with a stopper-like basal modification; bilateral stratified laminar structures; central electron-dense structure within the proximal centriole; fibrous sheath extending until the level of the second mitochondrial ring; rounded mitochondria in cross-section, but with variable shape and organization in longitudinal and oblique sections, respectively; linear annulus; developed multilaminar membranes in the nuclear region and the midpiece. The formation of membrane filipin–sterol complexes occur sparsely along the head region, specially around the nucleus; the complexes were also present in the midpiece membrane and scarcely lining the flagellum. The complexes were present in the different layers of the multilaminar membranes. The ethanol-phosphotungstic acid (E-PTA) treatment releaved the presence of basic proteins in acrosome vesicle, pericentriolar material, peripheral fibers of the axoneme and fibrous sheath. The tannic acid technique revealed the microtubules of the centrioles and the axoneme; the extracellular tubules encircling the spermatozoa and those spread in the epididymal lumen were also observed. However, the immunocytochemistry assay using antibodies against alpha-tubulin and beta-tubulin, the primary microtubule monomers, does not support the existence of composition similarity between these tubular structures, since the extracellular tubules were not labeled by the antibodies. The results obtained in this work demonstrate that the utilization of electron microscopic techniques may provide relevant information to the study of ophidian reproductive biology, particularly in analyses concerning spermatozoal ultrastructure

Um olhar sobre as tradições afro-brasileira a partir da base nacional comum curricular – BNCC / A look at afro-brazilian traditions from the common national curriculum base - BNCC

O Componente Curricular de Ensino Religioso está inserido na Base Nacional Comum Curricular – BNCC, propondo um espaço de aprendizagem com foco nas experiências pedagógicas, dialógicas e nas identidades culturais religiosas ou não religiosas. O documento citado apresenta um conjunto de habilidades que aponta as aprendizagens essenciais que devem ser contempladas em cada faixa etária dos educandos e estão relacionadas a diferentes objetos de conhecimento organizados em Unidades Temáticas na perspectiva das Ciências da Religião. No entanto, mesmo com as orientações propostas pela BNCC no que se refere a inserção do conhecimento religioso contemplando nas diversas tradições religiosas ainda é possível perceber dificuldade em abordar as tradições Afro-brasileiras nas aulas de Ensino Religioso, se restringindo ou dando prioridade às religiões cristãs, deixando outras vertentes religiosas de lado. Esse artigo tem como objetivo aprofundar o diálogo sobre as diversas possibilidades de abordar os elementos como símbolos, ritos, espaços sagrados das tradições religiosas Afro-brasileira-brasileira nas aulas de Ensino Religioso, sem causar constrangimentos aos educandos e a comunidade escolar. A metodologia percorreu a leitura bibliográfica, para a construção do referencial teórico e a pesquisa documental que contribuiu para o apontamento acerca do indicativo de ações pedagógicas para as aulas de Ensino Religioso com o aporte teórico nas Ciências das Religiões. E como resultado destaca-se que as orientações contidas na BNCC é possível sim tanto para o professor quanto para o aluno (a) olhar de uma forma mais positiva as religiões afro-brasileiras, partindo do pressuposto que estas tradições religiosas não devem em hipótese nenhuma trabalhadas de forma isolada, mas sim, dialogadas e integradas com outras vertentes religiosas, levando o aluno a perceber que elas também tem os seus valores religiosos, como qualquer outra denominações  religiosas apresentadas no espaço escolar

Ultrastructural study of spermatozoa of the neotropical lizards, Tropidurus semitaeniatus and Tropidurus torquatus (Squamata, Tropiduridae)

A detailed description of the sperm ultrastructure of Tropidurus semitaeniatus and T. torquatus is provided. Mature spermatozoa of T. semitaeniatus and T. torquatus are filiform and characterized by: apical portion of acrosome depressed; perforatorium single; epinuclear lucent zone well developed; midpiece short; mitochondria columnar; midpiece with three sets of alternating ring structures and mitochondria (rs1/m1, rs2/m2, rs3/m3); nuclear shoulders rounded; nucleus elongate; fibres 3 and 8 enlarged; and fibrous sheath in midpiece. Spermatozoa ofTropidurus are unusual in possessing a unilateral electron-lucent ridge at the surface of the acrosome and an epinuclear electron-lucent zone. The two species are very similar, differing in details such as degree of acrosome flattening, presence of bulging at nuclear base, and arrangement of microtubules in the endpiece. O futuro dos livros do passado: a biblioteca digital contribuindo na preservação e acesso às obras raras

The objective of this paper is to review literature on the advantages offered by the digital library of rare books. It describes concepts about rare books, the criteria that define then, and the main types of documents that belong to these collections. Factors that cause deterioration of bibliographical collections, and initiatives that contribute in its preservation, especially of rare books, are mentioned. It describes concepts about digital library, and present the digital library of rare books as an alternative in the preservation of originals. Some selection criteria that must be observed in the digital reformatting of rare books are presented. References are made to questions concerning the preservation of the available information in electronic format. Finally, the preservation of original documents as a consequence of remote access and new interaction forms of research are presented as the main advantages of the digital library of rare books.Este artículo tiene por objetivo identificar en la literatura las principales ventajas ofrecidas por la biblioteca digital de obras raras. Describe conceptos sobre obras raras, los criterios que las definen y los principales tipos de documentos que pertenecen a esas colecciones. Apunta algunos factores que causan el deterioro de acervos bibliográficos, destacando iniciativas que contribuyen en la preservación, en especial, de la obra rara. Define algunos conceptos de biblioteca digital y presenta la biblioteca digital de obras raras como alternativa en la preservación de originales. Destaca algunos criterios de selección que deben ser observados en la implantación de bibliotecas digitales, además de cuestiones referentes a la preservación de la información disponible en formato electrónico. Destaca, además, las nuevas formas interactivas de pesquisa proporcionadas por la biblioteca digital de obras raras. Concluye, apuntando como principales ventajas de la biblioteca digital de obras raras, la preservación de los documentos originales, en función del acceso remoto.Este artigo tem por objetivo identificar na literatura as principais vantagens oferecidas pela biblioteca digital de obras raras. Descreve conceitos sobre obras raras, os critérios que as definem e os principais tipos de documentos que pertencem a essas coleções. Aponta alguns fatores que causam a deterioração de acervos bibliográficos, destacando iniciativas que contribuem na preservação, em especial, da obra rara. Define alguns conceitos de biblioteca digital e apresenta a biblioteca digital de obras raras como alternativa na preservação de originais. Destaca alguns critérios de seleção que devem ser observados na implantação de bibliotecas digitais, além de questões referentes à preservação da informação disponível em formato eletrônico. Destaca, ainda, as novas formas interativas de pesquisa proporcionadas pela biblioteca digital de obras raras. Conclui apontando como principais vantagens da biblioteca digital de obras raras a preservação dos documentos originais, em função do acesso remoto.

APPLICATION OF BIOMECHANICAL CONCEPTS IN PROFESSIONAL LIFE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER

The aim of this study was to determine which biomechanical concepts the physical education teachers apply in their professional life and whether there are differences between those who work in training field or at school. For this purpose a questionnaire was answered by 32 teachers. It was found that in the two areas more than half of the subjects said that apply the concepts, respectively 81% and 69%. The used concepts in training was levers (n=9) and motion analysis (n=8) and at school analysis of movement (n=8). The Physical Education professionals do not recognize the substance content of biomechanics, because movement analysis is an elementary part of biomechanics qualitatively and quantitatively. We conclude that Biomechanics’ teachers in the University should readjust the content of the discipline to fit the needs of the professional

Redes Informais de Mentoria no Ambiente de Incubadoras de Base Tecnológica: o Apoio ao Desenvolvimento da Carreira Empreendedora

This study describes the structure of the incubated entrepreneurs’ networks. More specifically, it shows the embedded mentoring relationships in the network structures as part of the entrepreneurial career development. It is a case study that involved technological based incubators of Recife - Brazil. The mentoring informal networks are analyzed in order to show the individuals relevant positions. For the mentoring functions evaluation, an instrument was built and validated. Sociograms were constructed by means of Ucinet and Netdraw. The analysis enable the identification of the actors that perform important roles to the mentoring informal networks maintenance and expansion, as well as important roles to the relationships dynamics. The findings give evidence that the entrepreneurs’ networks structures are based on mentors’ social roles diversity and on strong ties. The theoretical and practical implications for the incubated entrepreneurs’ network construction are discussed, along with suggestions for future research.El siguiente estudio describe la estructura de las redes de emprendedores incubados. Específicamente, muestra las relaciones de mentores en la estructura de red como parte del desarrollo de una carrera emprendedora. Es el estudio de caso que involucra a los incubadores de base tecnológica de Recife-Brasil. Las redes de mentoring informal son analizadas con el objetivo de mostrar las posiciones individuales relevantes. Para la evaluación de funciones del mentoring, un instrumento fue construido y validado. Sociogramas fueron construidos mediante Ucinet y Netdraw. El análisis permite la identificación de los actores que desempeñan papeles importantes en la mantención y expansión de las redes de mentoring informal, como también roles importantes en la dinámica de las relaciones. Los hallazgos muestran evidencia de que las estructuras de redes de emprendedores están basadas en la diversidad de los roles sociales de los mentores y sus estrechos lazos. Se discuten las implicaciones teóricas y prácticas para la construcción de redes de emprendedores incubados, además se realizan sugerencias para una futura investigación.Este estudo descreve como se estruturam as redes informais dos empresários participantes das incubadoras de empresas de base tecnológica. Mais especificamente, mostra o imbricamento existente entre a estrutura das redes de relações dos empresários e os processos de mentoria buscados pelos empresários para o desenvolvimento da carreira empreendedora. Trata-se de um estudo de caso que envolveu sete incubadoras de base tecnológica do Recife - Brasil. São analisadas as interligações da rede informal de mentoria para mostrar a construção destas relações no contexto das incubadoras. Para a medição das funções da mentoria, um instrumento de medida foi construído e validado. Faz-se uso da teoria dos grafos e dos softwares Ucinet e Netdraw para o mapeamento das redes. A análise possibilitou a identificação dos atores que desempenham papéis relevantes à manutenção e expansão das redes informais de mentoria, bem como papéis relevantes à dinâmica do fluxo destas relações. Os achados mostraram que a estruturação das redes dos empresários incubados é baseada na diversidade de papéis sociais dos mentores e nos laços fortes. Com base no mapeamento destas redes, são feitas discussões teóricas e sugestões para pesquisas futuras

Projeto Cidadão Ambiental Mirim: contribuições à Educação Ambiental no ensino fundamental

The article aims at socializing a research results on the contributions of the “Environmental Little Citizen” Project for the development of Environmental Education (EA), under the citizenship focus, in the elementary years within three public schools in Colombo, PR, Brazil. The basic assumption was the importance of citizen education committed to socio-environmental sustainability. The qualitative diagnostic-evaluative study inquired teachers, pedagogical personnel and pupils about conceptual aspects and procedures of the Project through participant observation, documental analysis, interviews and questionnaires; the data underwent the content-analysis treatment method. Thus, the Project had its educational potential positively ascertained, needing theoretic-methodological improvement and better integration between its main Team and school personnel; as well, it is urgent advancing the preparation of professionals involved, under the focus of civic and environmental education.O trabalho tem por objetivo socializar os resultados da pesquisa que analisou as contribuições do Projeto “Cidadão Ambiental Mirim”, no desenvolvimento da Educação Ambiental (EA), nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental, no município de Colombo-PR. O referencial teórico teve como pressuposto a importância da formação cidadã do educando, comprometido com uma viável sustentabilidade socioambiental. A pesquisa qualitativa, diagnóstico-avalitativa, levantou dados por meio de observações participantes, análise documental, entrevistas e questionários com docentes, equipes pedagógicas e alunos; o tratamento dos dados embasou-se no método de análise de conteúdos. O estudo revelou que o Projeto tem potencial educativo para estimular a formação cidadã dos educandos, precisando avançar sob o foco da EA crítica, em relação ao seu desenvolvimento prático e na formação dos educadores, na perspectiva de uma educação socioambiental cidadã
