The marginally stable Bethe lattice spin glass revisited
Bethe lattice spins glasses are supposed to be marginally stable, i.e. their
equilibrium probability distribution changes discontinuously when we add an
external perturbation. So far the problem of a spin glass on a Bethe lattice
has been studied only using an approximation where marginally stability is not
present, which is wrong in the spin glass phase. Because of some technical
difficulties, attempts at deriving a marginally stable solution have been
confined to some perturbative regimes, high connectivity lattices or
temperature close to the critical temperature. Using the cavity method, we
propose a general non-perturbative approach to the Bethe lattice spin glass
problem using approximations that should be hopeful consistent with marginal

A unified stability property in spin glasses
Gibbs' measures in the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick type models satisfy two
asymptotic stability properties, the Aizenman-Contucci stochastic stability and
the Ghirlanda-Guerra identities, which play a fundamental role in our current
understanding of these models. In this paper we show that one can combine these
two properties very naturally into one unified stability property
On the role of microsomal aldehyde dehydrogenase in metabolism of aldehydic products of lipid peroxidation
AbstractTo elucidate a possible role of membrane-bound aldehyde dehydrogenase in the detoxication of aldehydic products of lipd peroxidation, the substrate specificity of the highly purified microsomal enzyme was investigated. The aldehyde dehydrogenase was active with different aliphatic aldehydes including 4-hydroxyalkenals, but did not react with malonic dialdehyde. When Fe/ADP-ascorbate-induced lipid peroxidation of arachidonic acid was carried out in an in vitro system, the formation of products which react with microsomal aldehyde dehydrogenase was observed parallel with malonic dialdehyde accumulation
Aspects for efficient wide spectral band THz generation via CO2 laser down conversion
Detailed model study of THz generation by CO2 laser down-conversion in pure and solid solution crystals GaSe1-xSx is carried out for the first time. Both forward and backward collinear interactions of common (eo-e, oe-e, oe-o, oo-e, ee-o) and original (ee-e, oo-o) types are considered. Possibility of realization, phase matching angles and figure of merits are estimated for line mixing within 9 μm and 10 μm emission bands, as well between them. Dispersion properties of o- and e-wave refractive indices and absorption coefficients for GaSe, GaS and GaSe1-xSx crystals were preliminary measured by THz-TDS, approximated in the equation form and then used in the study. Estimated results are presented in the form of 3-D figures that are suitable for rapid analyses of DFG parameters. The most efficient type of interaction is eo-o type. Optimally doped (x = 0.09-0.13) GaSe1-xSx crystals are from 4 to 5 times more efficient at limit pump intensity than not doped GaSe crystals

In this article, the author considers various strategies for the development of the Kurgan region. However, in order to follow the presented strategies, the region needs the support of the state. Building data warehouses in the era of big data: an approach for scalable and flexible big data warehouses
During the last few years, the concept of Big Data Warehousing gained significant attention from the scientific community, highlighting the need to make design changes to the traditional Data Warehouse (DW) due to its limitations, in order to achieve new characteristics relevant in Big Data contexts (e.g., scalability on commodity hardware, real-time performance, and flexible storage). The state-of-the-art in Big Data Warehousing reflects the young age of the concept, as well as ambiguity and the lack of common approaches to build Big Data Warehouses (BDWs). Consequently, an approach to design and implement these complex systems is of major relevance to business analytics researchers and practitioners. In this tutorial, the design and implementation of BDWs is targeted, in order to present a general approach that researchers and practitioners can follow in their Big Data Warehousing projects, exploring several demonstration cases focusing on system design and data modelling examples in areas like smart cities, retail, finance, manufacturing, among others
