    Metodología para deducir relaciones de linaje en el Catastro de España

    En España, los datos catastrales de acceso público, obtenidos a través de la Sede Electrónica del Catastro (SEC), no incluyen información sobre la genealogía o las relaciones de linaje existente entre las parcelas, de forma que la gestión de la información histórica es muy limitada. Este artículo presenta un método para obtener las relaciones de linaje más frecuentes entre las parcelas (agregación y segregación) y propone un prototipo de estructura relacional para el almacenamiento y la gestión histórica de los datos catastrales de acceso público. El proceso de análisis para deducir el linaje se basa en superposiciones espacio-temporales junto con secuencias de sentencias SQL. El método proporciona un 70% de relaciones de agregación y segregación correctas; el resto presentan errores debidos, en general, a anomalías presentes en los propios datos catastrales

    Prediction analysis of academic dropout in students of the Pablo de Olavide University

    Academic dropout among university students represents one of the problems faced by educational systems. This preliminary study presents an approach to the phenomenon of academic failure at the Pablo de Olavide University in Spain through the determination of the factors linked to students continuing with their studies, and the subsequent establishment of risk groups. The study consisted of applying an instrument to diagnose the risk of academic dropout among a sample of 70 students from the Pablo de Olavide University (from now on, UPO). The instrument was applied at the beginning of the second semester. Unlike the objective posed by the aforementioned authors (the search for factors linked to students continuing their university studies), the use that we made of the survey was to predict non-persistence (dropout). The average overall score achieved for all of the items allows us to confirm that the student population surveyed seems to be more oriented to continuing with their studies than dropping out, although 15.71% of them show a high risk of dropping out, and most notably more than half of those taking a degree in Business Studies present this high level of risk. In the case of the UPO students the direct associations between the independent variables regarding the dependent variable were present in all of the factors (attitude and behavior, commitment, socio-economic background, and motivation) with a value of p lower than 0.05. Comparing these data to those obtained with students from different universities in Andalusia, it was found that the risk groups of UPO students are less inclined to dropping out than those from other universities, and their level of commitment is lower, although their attitude and behavior are somewhat better.     Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG administration partially prevents diet-induced insulin resistance in rats: a comparison with its heat-inactivated parabiotic

    Insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes are obesity-related health alterations, featuring an ever-increasing prevalence. Besides inadequate feeding patterns, gut microbiota alterations stand out as potential contributors to these metabolic disturbances. The aim of this study was to investigate whether the administration of a probiotic (Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG) effectively prevents diet-induced insulin resistance in rats and to compare these potential effects with those exerted by its heat-inactivated parabiotic. For this purpose, 34 male Wistar rats were fed a standard or a high-fat high-fructose diet, alone or supplemented with viable or heat-inactivated Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG. The body and white adipose tissue weight increases, induced by the obesogenic diet, were prevented by probiotic and parabiotic administration. The trend towards higher basal glucose levels and significantly higher serum insulin concentration observed in the non-treated animals fed with the obesogenic diet were effectively reverted by both treatments. Similar results were also found for serum adiponectin and leptin, whose levels were brought back by the probiotic and parabiotic administration to values similar to those of the control animals. Noteworthily, parabiotic administration significantly reduced skeletal muscle triglyceride content and activated CPT-1b compared to the non-treated animals. Finally, both treatments enhanced Akt and AS160 phosphorylation in the skeletal muscle compared to the non-treated animals; however, only parabiotic administration increased GLUT-4 protein expression in this tissue. These results suggest that heat-inactivated Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG seem to be more effective than its probiotic of origin in preventing high-fat high-fructose diet-induced insulin resistance in rats.This study was supported by Instituto de Salud Carlos III (CIBERobn) under grant CB12/03/30007 and The Basque Government under grant IT1482-22.     Construction and validation of a questionnaire of risk and protective factors for drug use in college youth

    En este artículo se presenta la construcción y validación del Cuestionario de medición de factores de riesgo y de protección para el consumo de drogas en jóvenes universitarios. Se estableció la validez de contenido, la validez de constructo mediante análisis factoriales y la fiabilidad del cuestionario. La muestra correspondió a 763 estudiantes, entre 15 y 25 años, de una universidad privada de Cali, Colombia. La consistencia interna del cuestionario fue de 0,906 y se definieron seis factores psicosociales de riesgo y protección (malestar emocional, satisfacción en las relaciones interpersonales, preconceptos y valoración de las drogas, espiritualidad, permisividad social y accesibilidad a las drogas y, habilidades sociales y de autocontrol). El instrumento actual constituye una herramienta útil para la evaluación del consumo de drogas y sus factores psicosociales asociados en jóvenes universitarios. No obstante, el cuestionario será aplicado en posteriores estudios con el fin de establecer su validez predictiva.This paper presents the construction and validation of the Risk and protective factors for drug use questionnaire in college youth. Content validity, construct validity and reliability were established. The sample consisted of 763 students between 15 and 25 years old, from a private university in Cali, Colombia. The questionnaire reliability was 0,906, and six psychosocial risk and protective factors were defined (emotional disturbance, satisfaction with interpersonal relations, beliefs and appraisal about drugs, spirituality, social permissiveness and access to drugs, social skills and self-control). The current questionnaire is a useful tool to assess drug use and the psychosocial factors associated to it in college youth. However, it will be administered in later studies in order to establish its predictive validity

    "Comprehensive Care" Concept in Nursing: Systematic Review.

    Introduction. Integrated health care is a concept widely used in the planning and organisation of nursing care. It is a highly topical concept, but at the same time it is deeply rooted in the theory and models of Nursing right from its inception as a science. There is no clear, agreed definition that describes it. Objective. To systematise the knowledge available on the concept of "comprehensive care" in Nursing from the point of view of nursing care, its domains and characteristics. Methods. A literature search has been carried out in several languages (Spanish, Portuguese, English and Romanian) in the databases Web of Science, Scopus, Medline, PubMed, Cochrane and Dialnet, covering the period between 2013 and 2019. The search terms used were: comprehensive health care, health and nursing. Prospero register 170327. Results. Sixteen documents were identified, which grouped 8 countries, mainly Brazil, being the country with the highest output on this context– 10 documents were found within the qualitative paradigm and 6 quantitative ones. The concept "Comprehensive" ; is commonly used to refer to comprehensive nursing care techniques, protocols, programmes and plans, covering care in all aspects of the individual as a complement to or independent of the clinical needs arising from health care. Conclusion. The definition of features pertaining to the concept "Comprehensive Care" ; encourages the use and standardisation of nursing care plans, improving patient follow-up, the detection of new risk factors, complications and new health problems not related to the reason for admission. This increases the capacity for prevention and improves the patient’s quality of life, and their primary and/or family caregivers, which translates into lower costs in the health system.post-print871 K
