Labour status and involuntary employment: family ties and part-time work in Spain

The aim of the paper is a gender analysis of the extent to which parttime work represents an individual’s preferred labor market situation. The work includes a theoretical model that delivers some predictions about the household’s preferences over non-chosen employment states. Furthermore, it explores the impact of individual, family and job related variables on the probabilities of involuntary and voluntary part-time employment in Spain. The main empirical findings of the paper are: first, the model is sensitive to the chosen definition of (voluntary) part-time employment; second, there exist important gender asymmetries in labour market behaviour concerning the importance of the individual’s education and family characteristics; third, the marital status and having small children are important determinants of a woman’s probability of being voluntary part-time employed, whereas having grown up children or a temporary contract increases significantly a woman’s probability of involuntary part-time employment.part-time work, involuntary employment, family ties and labour supply.

Adaptació del test de Torrance a la localitat d’Onda

Curs acadèmic: 2018/2019Aquest TFG conté un resum històric sobre l’inici de l’avaluació de la creativitat amb diversos autors, una petita explicació del test de Torrance i la seua adaptació posterior, l’objectiu de la qual és proposar una activitat d’argila basada amb unes xicotetes modificacions : l’estructura de la prova de dues dimensions passarà a tres, les tasques a realizar s’adequaran al material i, per últim, el tipus de material per a realitzar-lo serà l’argila. D’aquesta manera l’activitat no sols ens podria servir per avaluar la creativitat sinó també per treballar l’àrea d’escultura que s’esdevé en el currículum.This “TFG” keeps a historical sumum of creativity begins furthermore explains a little bit the Torrance test and my own adapted activity. Este artículo resume el libro de Santiago Mestres Fossas titulado "Natación", escrito en 1915, apenas ocho años después del comienzo de la historia de la natación en España. Con este texto el autor no pretende enseñar a nadar, sino servir como soporte teórico y metodológico a aquellos que quieran acompañar a los que no saben nadar y a los nadadores más experimentados en su camino de aprendizaje y perfeccionamiento. De la glosa a la glota: creación e identidad del inglés norteño en el siglo X

Este artículo analiza las glosas aldredianas a los Evangelios de Lindisfarne (MS Cotton Nero D. iv) y al Durham Collectar (Durham Cathedral, MS A. iv. 19) en su contexto sociohistórico. Su propósito es estudiar las posibles razones de su composición y analizar hasta qué punto los dialectos de las glosas pueden iluminarnos sobre su función en la comunidad monástica de Chester-le-Street, en la que fueron compuestas en el siglo décimo. Se discute el papel de Aldred como continuador de la obra de sus antecesores y de la tradición de la primitiva comunidad lindisfarnense, y como defensor de su independencia e identidad frente a las presiones de los reyes tanto vikingos como sajones occidentales. Finalmente, se investiga si la lengua de la glosa al Durham Collectar nos permite establecer algún vínculo entre la comunidad cuthbertina y la Reforma benedictina del siglo décimo.«From gloss to glote: The creation and identity of Northern English in the 10th century». This paper examines the 10th-century glosses to the Lindisfarne Gospels (MS Cotton Nero D. iv) and the Durham Collectar (Durham Cathedral, MS A. iv. 19) in their sociohistorical context. It aims to explore possible motives for their composition and also analyses to what extent the language of the glosses can shed light on their function within the monastic community of the glossator, Aldred of Chester-le-Street. It also discusses the figure of Aldred as a guardian of the tradition and identity of the primitive community of Lindisfarne and as a protector of its independence in the face of the political pressures from both the Viking and the West-Saxon kings. Finally, this study investigates whether the analysis of the language of the gloss to the Durham Collectar might allow us to establish a connection between Aldred and the 10th–century Benedictine Reform

In both cases the exciting source is a piezoceramic. As actuator, a loudspeaker and a similar piezoceramic are used in the ANC and ASAC systems, respectively. A control unity which implements both FXLMS and FULMS algorithms is used to generate the secondary field in order to reduce the noise radiated by the plate.[ES] El principal objetivo de este trabajo es comparar los resultados obtenidos al aplicar técnicas de Control Activo del Ruido (CAR) y de Control Activo Acústico Estructural (CAAE) a una placa simplemente soportada. En ambos casos la fuente de excitación es una piezocerámica. Como actuador se utiliza un altavoz y una piezocerámica del mismo tipo, en los dispositivos CAR y CAAE respectivamente. Los comentaristas de Ovidio en la "General Estoria II", caps. 74-115

Las glosas alegóricas de Arnulfo de Orléans y Juan de Garlandia\ud son la base de los capítulos de tipo hermenéutico de la General\ud Estoria II, en los que Alfonso X desarrolla su explicación de los mitos\ud ovidianos que reproduce en su versión de las Metamorfosis. Tras repasar\ud los datos principales que se conocen sobre los dos comentaristas latinomedievales\ud y recordar brevemente la importancia de la técnica de la interpretación\ud alegórica en la aceptación de las obras literarias de la Antigüedad\ud pagana por la cultura cristiana de la Edad Media, nos detenemos en el\ud análisis de los capítulos de la GEII que interpretan alegóricamente aquellos\ud otros que trasladan el contenido del Libro IV de las Metamorfosis,\ud viendo cómo, en qué lugares y en qué orden se integran las exégesis de\ud Arnulfo y Juan de Garlandia en la obra alfonsí. Finalmente se analizan\ud con más detenimiento las glosas relativas a las transformaciones de Píramo\ud y Tisbe, de Hermafrodito, de Ino y Afamante y de las dueñas de Ino.\ud Mediante la confrontación del texto alfonsí con sus modelos es posible\ud llegar a un mejor conocimiento de la función que tienen los relatos tomados\ud de las Metamorfosis en esta obra historiográfica, la forma en que el\ud equipo alfonsí se enfrenta a sus fuentes y la manera en que las utiliza, el\ud modo y el orden en que se produce la incorporación de los capítulos de\ud tipo exegético, los motivos que subyacen a la elección de una u otra fuente,\ud la procedencia del conocimiento del equipo alfonsí de las Allegoriae y\ud los Integumenta, la repercusión de la incorporación de este tipo de capítulos\ud exegéticos al lado del material ovidiano y otras cuestiones relacionadas\ud con la originalidad temática y formal de la General Estoria.The allegorical glosses of Arnulf of Orleans and Johannes of\ud Garland constitute the basis of the hermeneutical chapters of the General\ud Estoria II, in which Alfonso X developes his explanation/ of the Ovidian\ud myths that he reproduces in his versión of the Metamorphoseon. After\ud reviewing the most important facts known about Latino-Medieval commentarists,\ud and briefly recalling the importance of the technique of allegorical\ud interpretation to the acceptance by medieval Christian culture of\ud the literary works of pagan Antiquity, we focus on the chapters of the\ud GEII that allegorically interpret those chapters that transfer content from\ud Book IV of the Metamorphosis, demonstrating how, in what places, and\ud in what order the exegeses of Arnulf de Orléans and John of Garland are\ud integrated into the Alfonsine work. Finally, the glosses relating to the\ud transformation of Pyramus and Thisbe, Hermaphrodite, and of Ino,\ud Athamante, and Ino's duennas are analyzed in greater detail. By comparing\ud Alfonso's text with its models, it is possible to arrive at a greater understanding\ud of the tales taken from the Metamorphosis in the historiographic\ud work, the way in which Alfonso's team of scribes confronts\ud their sources and the manner in which they use thern, the ways and order\ud in which they are incorporated into the exegetic chapters, the motives\ud underlying the selection of some sources over others, the origin of the\ud Alfonsine team's familiarity with the Aliegoriae and the Integumento, the\ud repercussions of the incorporation of this type of exegetic chapter side by side with the Ovidian material, and other matters related to the formal and thematic originality of the General Estoria
