Idealismo irreverente: as crônicas de Oswald de Andrade e Nelson Rodrigues

O artigo visa cotejar as crônicas Telefonema (1944-54) de Oswald de Andrade e Confissões (1967-74) de Nelson Rodrigues e examinar a forma ímpar como se situam na tradição do gênero no Brasil. Trata-se de verificar pontos de aproximação e de distanciamento nos modos como cada um dos autores utiliza o idealismo e a irreverência como estilo crítico, analisando as contendas que travaram com artistas e intelectuais de suas épocas. Panorama global da abertura de dados governamentais

The discussion about open government data is a worldwide trend. Some initiatives intend to expand these discussions, such as the Open Government Partnership and the Global Open Data Index. This research combined the use of tools offered by those two mentioned initiatives to understand the current panorama of the government data opening and visualization on a worldwide level. In this way, it is intended to contribute to mapping the advances obtained and to understand which paths still have to be followed in the search for openness and transparency of government data. Also, the study intends to help in understanding the real impact of the open data on corruption decrease. As a research method, data from the databases provided by OGP and GODI were collected, and the research universe consisted of countries that were indexed by the two initiatives simultaneously and also had official data portals available online. The commitments assumed by the countries in the OGP and the level of data openness identified by GODI were analyzed. After this process, the relationship between the GODI index and the Transparency International index were analyzed. The main results of the research are that the global picture of government data opening identifies good examples to be considered in the field of government data opening, as well as controversial perspectives that support other prospective indicators of the phenomenon. The frame is limited to the commitments made within the scope of the OGP, that does not deal with all discussions and actions in the context of government data but is an important international organization that has considered the opening of government data as a necessary element for transparency and enlargement of democracy in government management. The study points out that the commitments already established must comply with the criteria of evaluative indices, such as the one proposed by GODI. These criteria generate indicators capable of diagnosing the development of the initiatives, while presenting themselves as an instrument of global interlocution of diverse experiences, in spite of their singularities. In the analyzed cases, the index points out the importance of establishing open licenses as a way to operationalize and guarantee freedom in the use of data. It also considers elements of how government transparency practices are related to anti-corruption mechanisms. However, it is not possible to identify a direct relationship between government data openness indexes and corruption rates. The controversial elements highlighted in the research indicate the complexity and urgency of expanding this debate in academia and public management

Phenotypic architecture of sociality and its associated genetic polymorphisms in zebrafish

Sociality relies on motivational and cognitive components that may have evolved independently, or may have been linked by phenotypic correlations driven by a shared selective pressure for increased social competence. Furthermore, these components may be domain-specific or of general-domain across social and non-social contexts. Here, we used zebrafish to test if the motivational and cognitive components of social behavior are phenotypically linked and if they are domain specific or of general domain. The behavioral phenotyping of zebrafish in social and equivalent non-social tests shows that the motivational (preference) and cognitive (memory) components of sociality: (1) are independent from each other, hence not supporting the occurrence of a sociality syndrome; and (2) are phenotypically linked to non-social traits, forming two general behavioral modules, suggesting that sociality traits have been co-opted from general-domain motivational and cognitive traits. Moreover, the study of the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and each behavioral module further supports this view, since several SNPs from a list of candidate “social” genes, are statistically associated with the motivational, but not with the cognitive, behavioral module. Together, these results support the occurrence of general-domain motivational and cognitive behavioral modules in zebrafish, which have been co-opted for the social domain. © 2022 The Authors. No PCU, vários objetos de dimensão L, devem ser cortados em n itens menores com dimensões li e valor de utilidade vi. O problema é achar a melhor forma de se fazer este corte de modo a minimizar a perda dos objetos de comprimento L a serem cortados e maximizar a soma dos valores de utilidade de cada um dos itens menores de comprimento li. Foram utilizadas quatro técnicas: Algoritmo First Fit Decreasing (FFD), Algoritmo Guloso (AGU), Limitante de Dantzig (LD) e Algoritmos Geneticos (AG)

Reperfusion injury hampers myocardial recovery in a clinical setting and its management is an unmet need. We investigated the efficacy of intracoronary (IC) delivery of xenogeneic hUCM-MSC as reperfusion-adjuvant therapy in a translational model of AMI in swine. Methods: In a placebo-controlled trial, pot-belied pigs were randomly assigned to a sham-control group (vehicle-injection; n = 8), AMI + vehicle (n = 12) or AMI + IC-injection (n = 11) of 5 × 105 hUCM-MSC/Kg, within 30 min of reperfusion. AMI was created percutaneously by balloon occlusion of the mid-LAD. Left-ventricular function was blindly evaluated at 8-weeks by invasive pressure-volume loop analysis (primary endpoint). Mechanistic readouts included histology, strength-length relationship in skinned cardiomyocytes and gene expression analysis by RNA-sequencing. Results: As compared to vehicle, hUCM-MSC enhanced systolic function as shown by higher ejection fraction (65 ± 6% vs. 43 ± 4%; p = 0.0048), cardiac index (4.1 ± 0.4 vs. 3.1 ± 0.2 L/min/m2; p = 0.0378), preload recruitable stroke work (75 ± 13 vs. 36 ± 4 mmHg; p = 0.0256) and end-systolic elastance (2.8 ± 0.7 vs. 2.1 ± 0.4 mmHg*m2/ml; p = 0.0663). Infarct size was non-significantly lower in cell-treated animals (13.7 ± 2.2% vs. 15.9 ± 2.7%; Δ = −2.2%; p = 0.23), as was interstitial fibrosis and cardiomyocyte hypertrophy in the remote myocardium. Sarcomere active tension improved, and genes related to extracellular matrix remodelling (including MMP9, TIMP1 and PAI1), collagen fibril organization and glycosaminoglycan biosynthesis were downregulated in animals treated with hUCM-MSC. Conclusion: Intracoronary transfer of xenogeneic hUCM-MSC shortly after reperfusion improved left-ventricular systolic function, which could not be explained by the observed extent of infarct size reduction alone. Combined contributions of favourable modification of myocardial interstitial fibrosis, matrix remodelling and enhanced cardiomyocyte contractility in the remote myocardium may provide mechanistic insight for the biological effect.publishersversionpublishe
