Mosaic genetic analysis has been widely used in different model organisms such as the fruit fly to study gene-function in a cell-autonomous or tissue-specific fashion. More recently, and less easily conducted, mosaic genetic analysis in mice has also been enabled with the ambition to shed light on human gene function and disease. These genetic tools are of particular interest, but not restricted to, the study of the brain. Notably, the MADM technology offers a genetic approach in mice to visualize and concomitantly manipulate small subsets of genetically defined cells at a clonal level and single cell resolution. MADM-based analysis has already advanced the study of genetic mechanisms regulating brain development and is expected that further MADM-based analysis of genetic alterations will continue to reveal important insights on the fundamental principles of development and disease to potentially assist in the development of new therapies or treatments. In summary, this work completed and characterized the necessary genome-wide genetic tools to perform MADM-based analysis at single cell level of the vast majority of mouse genes in virtually any cell type and provided a protocol to perform lineage tracing using the novel MADM resource. Importantly, this work also explored and revealed novel aspects of biologically relevant events in an in vivo context, such as the chromosome-specific bias of chromatid sister segregation pattern, the generation of cell-type diversity in the cerebral cortex and in the cerebellum and finally, the relevance of the interplay between the cell-autonomous gene function and cell-non-autonomous (community) effects in radial glial progenitor lineage progression. This work provides a foundation and opens the door to further elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying neuronal diversity and astrocyte generation

Instrumento de criterios de selección y evaluación de artículos de prensa nacional para la puesta en práctica en la enseñanza de ELE

El presente trabajo de investigación está centrado en el diseño de un instrumento de criterios de selección y evaluación de artículos de prensa, con el fin de proporcionar al docente de español como lengua extranjera una guía que le sirva para implementar el uso de los textos periodísticos en sus clases y aprovechar al máximo las ventajas de este material auténtico desde el enfoque comunicativo. En ese sentido, se hizo una aproximación a la literatura para sintetizar criterios relacionados con categorías específicas de selección y evaluación. Con el fin de suministrar a los docentes un instrumento con estas características, se propuso un material donde se reúnen los aspectos a tener en cuenta para seleccionar y evaluar artículos de prensa y noticias elegidas de la prensa nacional que ejemplifican dichos criterios y que sugieren el nivel de lengua y posibles contenidos para trabajar el texto en clase.This research project focuses on the design of an instrument of selection and evaluation criteria of press articles, in order to provide the teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language with a guide to implement the use of journalistic texts in their classes and make the most of the advantages of this authentic material from the communicative approach. In that sense, there was an approximation to the literature to synthesize criteria related to specific categories of selection and evaluation. Situación de la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional de personas víctimas por el conflicto armado del municipio de Convención, departamento Norte de Santander

Esta investigación se justifica en el hecho de buscar y analizar información que relacione el conflicto armado con la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional de la población del municipio de Convención, Norte de Santander. Por tanto, para el logro de los objetivos se propone una metodología cualitativa de tipo fenomenológica y participativa, en donde se llevó a cabo entrevistas semiestructuradas y una historia de vida de una familia tipo, víctima del conflicto armado del municipio de Convención. Para finalizar se realiza el análisis de la información recolectada, y se relata en el documento la afectación de la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional de la población del municipio de convención antes, durante y después del conflicto armado, las actividades económicas que en el marco de la SAN se han perdido debido a estos problemas y se establecen estrategias que permitan contribuir al mejoramiento de la situación de seguridad alimentaria y nutricional de la población.Abstract: This investigation is justified in the fact of searching and analyzing information that relates the armed conflict with the food and nutritional security of the population of the municipality of Convención, Norte de Santander. Therefore, for the achievement of the objectives, a qualitative methodology of phenomenological and participatory type was proposed, where semi-structured interviews and a life history of a typical family, victim of the armed conflict of the municipality of Convention, were carried out. Finally, the analysis of the information collected is carried out, and the document describes the impact of the food and nutrition security of the population of the convention municipality before, during and after the armed conflict, the economic activities that within the framework of the SAN have been lost due to these problems and strategies are established that allow contributing to the improvement of the food and nutritional security situation of the population.Maestrí

RESUMENIntroducción: Las UCI son altamente estresantes para los pacientes, los familiares y los miembros del equipo de salud. Los temores, la soledad y la pérdida de autonomía son condiciones frecuentes que confrontan a los actores de estas unidades con la vulnerabilidad, el sufrimiento y la muerte.Objetivos: Presentar y argumentar las razones por las que la participación del psicólogo resulta pertinente, relevante e indispensable en el trabajo interdisciplinario dentro de las UCI. Metodología: La evidencia empírica se obtuvo de artículos científicos extraídos de bases de datos especializadas. Resultados: Estar en una UCI es una experiencia altamente estresante y potencialmente traumática, pues los pacientes se enfrentan a situaciones que comprometen la vida y se confrontan con la muerte.Conclusiones: La evidencia sobre la participación del psicólogo en las UCI es escasa. Fear, loneliness and loss of autonomy are common conditions that confront UCI actors with vulnerability, suffering and death. Objectives:to present and argue the reasons why the psychologist’s participation is relevant, important and indispensable in the interdisciplinary work of the ICU. Methodology: the empirical evidence was obtained from scientific articles extracted from specialized databases. Results: Be in the ICU is highly stressful and potentially traumatic because patients are faced with life threatening situations and confronted with death.Conclusions: Evidence on the involvement of psychologists in the ICU is low. CO2 capture and conversion: A homemade experimental approach

During the SARS-2-Covid pandemic our institution sought to continue the teaching and learning of experimental laboratories by designing, assembling, and delivering a microscale chemistry kit to the students’ homes. Thanks to this approach students were able to perform ~25 experiments during each one of the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters in an elective Electrochemistry and Corrosion course offered to Chemical Engineering undergraduates. In addition to performing traditional experiments, students were encouraged to design some of their own and have the entire group reproduce them. One of such student-designed experiments involved the capture of CO2 and its reduction with a readily available active metal (i.e., Al foil) in aqueous media to generate potentially useful products. The highly negative standard potential of Al is exploited for the reduction of lab-generated CO2, and the products are chemically tested. Al as a foil has been reported to be electrochemically inactive for carbon dioxide reduction. However, encouraged by an earlier report of the reduction of CO2 to CO, the Al surface is activated in the present experiment by removal of its natural oxide layer with a solution of CuCl 2 produced in an electrochemical cell. This procedure enables Al to react with CO2 and yield useful chemistry. This experiment turned to be a discovery trip. Factores determinantes para la gestión sustentable de la innovación en el Servicio de Salud Ñuble

78 p.Mediante el desarrollo de este proyecto se aporta información empírica al estado del arte de la innovación en los servicios públicos, específicamente en el sector salud, desde el estudio del caso del Servicio de Salud Ñuble. Para ello, a partir de la información recogida en entrevistas, encuestas y documentación recopilada, se identifican y describen las diferentes capacidades con que la organización cuenta y se evalúa la presencia de facilitadores y obstaculizadores de una cultura de innovación. En este trabajo se plantean también las principales situaciones de áreas de tensión encontradas en los servicios entregados a la población provincial atendida, las cuales son susceptibles de ser resueltas con proyectos innovadores. Finalmente, se proponen ideas fuerza y acciones que pueden facilitar la instalación de una gestión de la innovación sustentable en el Servicio de Salud Ñuble./ABSTRACT: Through the development of this project empirical information is provided to the state of the art of innovation in public services, specifically in the health sector, from the case study of the Ñuble Health Service. For this, from the information gathered in interviews, surveys and documentation collected, the different capacities with which the organization counts are identified and described and the presence of facilitators and hinders of the innovative culture is evaluated. In this paper we also consider the main stress situations found in the services delivered to the provincial population served, which can be solved with innovative projects. Finally, strength ideas are proposed that can facilitate the installation of a sustainable innovation management in the Ñuble Health Service

Sistema de información para el hospedaje Mar Azul

Este trabajo se basa en una necesidad de la empresa Mar Azul la cual ofrece un servicio de hospedaje en Villavicencio, actualmente está muy bien ubicada y les surgió la necesidad de posicionarse en la red, ya que en la actualidad la tecnología ha avanzado mucho y son muchas las personas que aceden al internet diariamente de esta manera se opta por aprovechar los recursos tecnológicos dando a conocer los servicios que ofrece el hospedaje. En este proyecto se realizó un análisis detallado de los principales requerimientos de la empresa, se elaboró el proyecto utilizando la metodología xp ya que promueve el trabajo en equipo, se basa en una retroalimentación continua entre el cliente y el equipo de desarrollo .de esta manera se mejoró la productividad del proyecto
