    Regular Combinators for String Transformations

    We focus on (partial) functions that map input strings to a monoid such as the set of integers with addition and the set of output strings with concatenation. The notion of regularity for such functions has been defined using two-way finite-state transducers, (one-way) cost register automata, and MSO-definable graph transformations. In this paper, we give an algebraic and machine-independent characterization of this class analogous to the definition of regular languages by regular expressions. When the monoid is commutative, we prove that every regular function can be constructed from constant functions using the combinators of choice, split sum, and iterated sum, that are analogs of union, concatenation, and Kleene-*, respectively, but enforce unique (or unambiguous) parsing. Our main result is for the general case of non-commutative monoids, which is of particular interest for capturing regular string-to-string transformations for document processing. We prove that the following additional combinators suffice for constructing all regular functions: (1) the left-additive versions of split sum and iterated sum, which allow transformations such as string reversal; (2) sum of functions, which allows transformations such as copying of strings; and (3) function composition, or alternatively, a new concept of chained sum, which allows output values from adjacent blocks to mix.Comment: This is the full version, with omitted proofs and constructions, of the conference paper currently in submissio

Objekt je situován na parcele v rovinatém terénu v obci Nezamyslice, v Olomouckém kraji. Konstrukce je zvolena ze systému Porotherm, zastřešena sedlovou střechou. K objektu je konstrukčně připojena dvojgaráž s dílnou a skladem, ze severní strany. 2 NP je řešeno jako podkroví nad hlavní částí objektu.Bachelor´s thesis deals with design documentation for implementation of construction on the two-storey family house with space for business – hairdresser´s. Object is situated on a land in flat terrain in city Nezamyslice, in Olomouc region. Construction is chosen from system Porotherm, roofed by gable roof.     Tato diplomová práce řeší novostavbu planetária v Prostějově, okres Prostějov v Olomouckém kraji. Projekt je řešen v souladu se zadáním diplomové práce a v souladu se současnou platnou legislativou. Řešená stavba se nachází v největším městském parku obce Prostějov v blízkosti centra obce na nezastavěném pozemku pod vlastnictvím obce. Objekt by měl sloužit jako kulturní centrum nejen pro obyvatele obce. Stavba má nepravidelný půdorys o maximálních rozměrech 47,6 x 28,6 m, má 2 nadzemní podlaží a je částečně podsklepená. V 1NP planetária se nachází galerie, prodejna literatury a kavárna a ve 2NP promítací sál planetária a pozorovatelna. Konstrukční systém objektu je železobetonový skelet a části s kruhovým půdorysem jsou provedeny jako železobetonové stěny. Objekt je založen na základových patkách a pasech. Stropní konstrukci tvoří železobetonové desky podepřené příčlemi. Objekt je zastřešen plochou střechou a promítací sál planetária a pozorovatelna jsou zastřešeny ocelovými kopulemi ve tvaru polokoulí odlišných poloměrů. Pro obvodové nenosné, výplňové, zdivo byly zvoleny tvárnice z autoklávovaného pórobetonu Ytong. Vnitřní příčky byly navrženy taktéž z tvárnic z autoklávovaného pórobetonu Ytong. Obvodové stěny jsou zatepleny převážně tepelnou izolací z minerálních vláken, plochá střecha z izolace z expandovaného polystyrenu. Výplně otvorů jsou převážně hliníkové s trojitým zasklením. Výsledkem je stavebně, provozně i esteticky funkční celek, který bude svou užitnou hodnotou přínosem nejen pro obec, zejména pro kulturní život.This diploma thesis focuses on a project of new building of Planetarium in Prostějov in Olomouc district. The project is in accordance eith official assignment and with contemporary Czech standards and legislation. Building is placed to biggest park of Prostějov, next to the centre of city on an empty plot owned by city. Object should serve to the people as a cultural centre. The building plan is irregullarly-sharped with maximum dimensions 47,6 x 26,6 m and has three floors. On the first floor is galery, literature store and cafe and on the second floor is projection room and observatory. Structural systém is skelet and walls from reiforced concrete. Foundations of the building are made of concrete strip foundation and reiforced concrete square footings and strip foundations. Ceilings are made of reiforced concrete panels. There are roofs made by steel cupolas. Unsound walls are made of porous fittings. All external walls and cupolas are insulated with mineral wool. Doors and windows have aluminium frame and triple glazing, inner doors are wooden. As result there’s structurally, operationally and aesthetically functional complex, that will be benefit for the city and its citizens, especially for their cultural life.

    Tématem práce je konstrukce bezdrátového detektoru úniku oxidu uhelnatého pro systém inteligentní domácnosti FLATcon. Tato práce se zabývá zejména praktickým návrhem zařízení dle zadání rozšířeným o měření teploty a výstup na spínání kotle, dále koncepcí obousměrné bezdrátové Master – Slave komunikace pro systém FLATcon a návrhem centrální jednotky systému FLATcon pro demonstraci funkčnosti s využitím jednodeskového počítače Raspberry PI. Práce zahrnuje také teoretický úvod do problematiky měření koncentrace plynů a rozebírá konstrukci použitého polovodičového senzoru MQ-7.The theme of this thesis is to design a wireless carbon monoxide leak detector for smart home system FLATcon. This thesis deals mainly with practical design of the device extended with temperature measuring and output to boiler operation, the conception of two-way wireless Master - Slave communication for system FLATcon and design a central unit for FLATcon to demonstrate the functionality using the single board computer Raspberry PI. The thesis also includes a theoretical introduction into the measuring gas concentration and discusses the design of used semiconductor sensor MQ-7.

Čtenář bude nejprve seznámen s celkovou problematikou první pomoci, poté získá informace týkající se různých nebezpečných prostředí, ve kterých může s elektřinou přijít do styku. Část bakalářské práce je věnována problematice elektrické bezpečnosti, s níž by měly být seznámeny všechny osoby jakkoli používající elektrická zařízení. Hlavním cílem práce je lepší pochopení problematiky první pomoci po zásahu elektrickým proudem a nabytí základních znalostí z oblasti elektrické bezpečnosti, za účelem předcházení možným úrazům.The goal of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the problematic of Electric Shock with the subsequent First Aid. Firstly, the reader will be introduced to the problematic of the First Aid. Secondly, the reader will be informed about various dangerous environments and possible causes of treatment. The part of the thesis focuses on electrical safety. An individual who uses electric devices should be familiar with electrical safety to prevent risks of electrocution. The primary goal of the thesis is a better understanding of the topic First Aid after Electric shock and an acquisition of basic knowledge from electrical safety to prevent possible injuries.

    PRAKTYCZNA REALIZACJA IDEALNEGO PROSTOWNIKA DWUPOŁÓWKOWEGO

    This paper discuses practical realization of full-wave rectifiers made of electronic diodes for high current bipolar electronic loads. The presented solution minimizes the voltage drop and nonlinearity of loads in the region of low voltages. Compared to standard or Schottky diodes, electronic (also referred to as ideal) diodes exhibit very low voltage drop and power dissipation. In the full-wave rectifier, MOSFETs with very low RDSon (low units of milliohms) are used. Ideal rectifiers have been traditionally used as structural elements in switched power supplies; they are often applied in low dissipation power switches and started to be utilized as full-wave rectifiers.Artykuł omawia praktyczną realizację prostownika dwupołówkowego wykonanego z użyciem diod prostowniczych dla obciążeń wysokoprądowych. Zaproponowane rozwiązanie minimalizuje spadek napięcia i nieliniowość obciążenia w zakresie małych napięć. W porównaniu do standardowej diody Schottkiego, diody „elektroniczne” (nazywane również idealnymi) wykazują bardzo mały spadek napięcia i straty mocy. W prostowniku dwupołówkowym użyto tranzystory MOSFET o bardzo niskiej RDSon (rzędu miliomów). Idealne prostowniki są tradycyjnie używane jako elementy konstrukcyjne w zasilaczach impulsowych; są one często stosowane w niskostratnych przełącznikach mocy i zaczynają być stosowane jako prostowniki dwupołówkowe

    HYSTERESIS IN POST-KEYNESIAN MONETARY THEORY

    This paper focuses on research in Post-Keynesian economics of (non)equilibrium applied to monetary policy. The authors show by an amended New Consensus model that a case they call “Lavoie’s” hysteresis is substantially different from Setterfield’s (1998a) conception, despite some common features. The paper claims that in spite of presence of irreversibility and short-run and long-run path-dependence in both systems, there are some fundamental differences. Drawing upon the Kaldor - Setterfield’s definition of determinate outcome, the authors argue that “Lavoie’s” (2008) hysteresis in the natural rate is a locally-stable-multiple-equilibria case and they regard, in reference to Setterfield’s concepts of deep endogeneity and adjustment asymmetries, “Lavoie’s” hysteresis a conceptualization of historical time at a lower level than Setterfield’s hysteresis. This paper states that Setterfield’s (2008) references to his theory of hysteresis as a general theory, of which the traditional equilibrium is just a special case, might be applied to “Lavoie’s” hysteresis only on the condition that differences between “Setterfield’s” and “Lavoie’s” thresholds were neglected. The final conclusion is drawn by the authors that presence of “Lavoie’s” hysteresis is a sufficient condition for the limited long-run money neutrality to arise

    UNCERTAINTY, MONEY AND UNDEREMPLOYMENT

    This paper presents a restatement of Keynes’s underemployment equilibrium as a center-equilibrium system. The authors present their centralequilibrium underemployment model with the income-balancing mechanism. The authors postulate the existence of a causal link between the fundamental uncertainty and the center-equilibrium underemployment. Two channels of fundamental uncertainty are suggested here to capture this causal link, the capital channel and the money channel. Drawing upon Davidson (2009, p. 333; 1991, p. 138), the authors identify the capital channel of fundamental uncertainty with the entrepreneurial risk and the money channel of fundamental uncertainty with the cash-flow-managerial risk of asset-liability mismatch. From this, the author infer a conclusion that the economic policy of flexible liquidity supply cannot be mixed up with an economic policy of governmental spending under a highly ambiguous term “money pumping”

    UNCERTAINTY, MONEY AND THE “FAIR” RATE OF INTEREST

    This paper presents a redefinition of notion of the inter-temporal distributional neutrality underlying the “fair” rate of interest of Lavoie (1999). The authors re-define the notion by replacement of the labor-time constant purchasing power method by a more feasible method of a discounted value of consumption. Next, a general proof is provided by the authors of Lavoie’s postulate of the equality of the real “fair” rate of interest to the productivity growth rate. This proof is provided separately for a nonproductive and a productive economy. Subsequently, the authors present their own 45° “fair” rate model which inter-relates both the real and nominal “fair” rates with the productivity growth rate in a single graphical scheme. Finally, the authors amend their own center-equilibrium underemployment model by this 45° “fair” rate model to produce a complex fair-rate-amended center-equilibrium underemployment model. This model incorporates Lavoie’s “fair” rate of interest into a fundamental-uncertainty-based model of underemployment with an endogenous money supply
