    Innovative Work Behavior Capability and Job Enthusiasm for Excellence on Proactive Job Effectiveness of Employees in the Thai Telecommunications Equipment Sector

                This research aimed to study the effect of innovative work behavior capability and job enthusiasm for excellence on proactive job effectiveness of employees in the Thai telecommunications equipment sector. Questionnaires were used to collect data and random sampling was used to select samples from 110 Thai telecommunications equipment sector employees. Correlation, research, and multiple regression analysis were used to statistically analyze data. The study results were as follows: 1) innovative work behavior capability consisting of promoting learning and enhancing skills, technology adoption and development, dissemination of knowledge skills for change, and promoting fair rewards had a significant positive influence on both job enthusiasm for excellence and proactive job effectiveness.     2) job enthusiasm for excellence had a significant positive influence on proactive job effectiveness. In summary, the innovative work behavior capability and job enthusiasm for excellence had a significant positive influence on proactive work effectiveness of employees in the Thai telecommunications equipment sector. Therefore, it was recommended that the management focuses on innovative work behavior capability, job enthusiasm for excellence, and proactive work efficiency. This should be a guideline for developing new knowledge and could be applied to increase efficiency and effectiveness of competitive capability, which continuously changes. &nbsp

    Switching-Concentration Effect of Li2O and Al2O3 on Phosphate Glass Doped with Nd2O3

    The purpose of this study was to determine the switching-concentration effect of Li2O and Al2O3 on phosphate glass doped with neodymium ions. The 64P2O5-20Li2O-15Al2O3-1Nd2O3 glass was measured and analyzed for density, refractive index, absorption and near-infrared emission spectrum. The density and refractive index showed values of 2.5695 g/cm3 and 1.5236, respectively. The optical absorption was measured and showed twelve bands in the range of 300–1500 nm. It was observed that the most intense transition 4I9/2→4G5/2 was centered at around 581 nm, which was chosen to investigate the near-infrared emission spectrum. The intense band of emission spectrum with 4F3/2→4I11/2 transition was shown in wavenumber at 9442.87 cm-1 (1059 nm). The Judd-Ofelt and radiative parameters were calculated and collected to support the possibility of laser application

    Characteristics of x-ray attenuation in electrospun bismuth oxide/polylactic acid nanofibre mats

    The characteristics of the X-ray attenuation in electrospun nano(n)- and micro(m)-Bi2O3/polylactic acid (PLA) nanofibre mats with different Bi2O3 loadings were compared as a function of energy using mammography (i.e. tube voltages of 22–49 kV) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) (7–20 keV). Results indicate that X-ray attenuation by electrospun n-Bi2O3/PLA nanofibre mats is distinctly higher than that of m-Bi2O3/PLA nanofibre mats at all energies investigated. In addition, with increasing filler loading (n-Bi2O3 or m-Bi2O3), the porosity of the nanofibre mats decreased, thus increasing the X-ray attenuation, except for the sample containing 38 wt% Bi2O3 (the highest loading in the present study). The latter showed higher porosity, with some beads formed, thus resulting in a sudden decrease in the X-ray attenuation

    First Results from the AMoRE-Pilot neutrinoless double beta decay experiment

    The Advanced Molybdenum-based Rare process Experiment (AMoRE) aims to search for neutrinoless double beta decay (0νββ\nu\beta\beta) of 100^{100}Mo with \sim100 kg of 100^{100}Mo-enriched molybdenum embedded in cryogenic detectors with a dual heat and light readout. At the current, pilot stage of the AMoRE project we employ six calcium molybdate crystals with a total mass of 1.9 kg, produced from 48^{48}Ca-depleted calcium and 100^{100}Mo-enriched molybdenum (48depl^{48\textrm{depl}}Ca100^{100}MoO4_4). The simultaneous detection of heat(phonon) and scintillation (photon) signals is realized with high resolution metallic magnetic calorimeter sensors that operate at milli-Kelvin temperatures. This stage of the project is carried out in the Yangyang underground laboratory at a depth of 700 m. We report first results from the AMoRE-Pilot 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta search with a 111 kg\cdotd live exposure of 48depl^{48\textrm{depl}}Ca100^{100}MoO4_4 crystals. No evidence for 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta decay of 100^{100}Mo is found, and a upper limit is set for the half-life of 0νββ\nu\beta\beta of 100^{100}Mo of T1/20ν>9.5×1022T^{0\nu}_{1/2} > 9.5\times10^{22} y at 90% C.L.. This limit corresponds to an effective Majorana neutrino mass limit in the range mββ(1.22.1)\langle m_{\beta\beta}\rangle\le(1.2-2.1) eV

    Structural study of alpha-Bi2O3 under pressure

    An experimental and theoretical study of the structural properties of monoclinic bismuth oxide (alpha-(BiO3)-O-2) under high pressures is here reported. Both synthetic and mineral bismite powder samples have been compressed up to 45 GPa and their equations of state have been determined with angle-dispersive x-ray diffraction measurements. Experimental results have been also compared with theoretical calculations which suggest the possibility of several phase transitions below 10 GPa. However, experiments reveal only a pressure-induced amorphization between 15 and 25 GPa, depending on sample quality and deviatoric stresses.     Prediction of mechanical and radiation parameters of glasses with high Bi2O3 concentration

    This study aims to perform multidirectional characterizations on nuclear shielding efficiencies on some bismuth-based glasses. Accordingly, the γattenuation coefficients for xBi2O3-(75-x)B2O3–25Li2O (x = 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 the 70 mol%) were widely evaluated using simulations and theoretical methods. Linear attenuation coefficient (LAC) of the glasses was obtained by the Monte Carlo general-purpose simulation code FLUKA and compared with the XCOM database up to 15 MeV. Moreover, LAC values have been utilized to evaluate related parameters like mass attenuation coefficient (MAC), total molecular cross-section (σt), total atomic cross-section (σa), half-value layer (HVL), total electronic cross-section (σe), mean free path (MFP), effective atomic number (Zeff), and effective electron density (Neff). The results noted that the XCOM and FLUKA data of the shielding parameters are in great agreement. Relatively higher density (5.818 g/cm3), greater LAC, MAC, Zeff, and lower HVL, MFP values are achieved for 70Bi2O3-5B2O3–25Li2O glass.
