Nem tudo que reluz é ouro : histórias de jogadores de futebol

Defesa: Curitiba, 28/07/2017Inclui referências : f. 264-268Resumo: Partindo das contribuições de trabalhos de referência nas ciências humanas, compreendemos uma tentativa pouco usual de abordagem do futebol e da carreira futebolística através das fontes orais. Pensando que os trabalhos já existentes promovem uma leitura a partir das fontes oficiais1, entendemos que a oralidade se constitui em uma nova perspectiva de tentar entender as relações estabelecidas a partir da subjetividade dos atletas profissionais, bem como da influência social que sofrem pela estrutura, promovendo um espaço dinâmico onde se notabilizam uma série de questões que abordamos tanto pela perspectiva micro-histórica - a partir das singularidades de cada narrativa - quanto macro-histórica - na concepção de uma memória compartilhada pela coletividade, enfatizando possíveis reincidências que denotem a relevância de determinados temas para essa comunidade. Dessa forma, nosso objetivo geral é analisar e discutir sobre o futebol e a carreira futebolística a partir das fontes orais. Como objetivos específicos pretendemos: refletir acerca da inserção, dificuldades e perspectivas desses indivíduos na carreira; analisar as relações estabelecidas com empresários, técnicos, dirigentes, colegas de profissão, familiares, amigos e mídias; compreender as questões obscuras, tais como o assédio sexual e o preconceito racial sofrido pelos atletas, os problemas na vida pessoal oriundos de uma carreira representativa, os atrasos de salários e outras questões trabalhistas; pensar as ações dos sujeitos que compõem esse meio, partindo das narrativas de atletas e ex-atletas que viveram essa realidade; analisar os discursos, rupturas e silêncios nas narrativas e; refletir sobre o futebol moderno. Embasamo-nos metodologicamente os preceitos da história oral, obedecendo os princípios para a elaboração de uma pesquisa que prevê o diálogo constante entre entrevistador e entrevistado, bem como a elaboração de um roteiro semiestruturado, em que a transcrição foi feita de forma a eliminar os principais vícios de linguagem, havendo retornado aos colaboradores para sua apreciação e posterior utilização nas análises propostas pela temática. As análises se basearam na compreensão das fontes orais a partir da memória individual e coletiva, reiterando que a reflexão das oralidades compreenderam a subjetividade no âmbito dos conteúdos, do contexto e das condições de produção do discurso, ampliando as discussões para o entendimento da representatividade que cada sujeito atribuiu à própria história, perspectivando sentimentos que denotaram memórias positivas e negativas, compreendidas a partir da reinterpretação do passado no presente. Nossa hipótese se confirmou, evidenciando que a carreira do atleta de futebol se notabiliza pela dupla verdade entre subjetividade e estrutura, em que a primeira denota as particularidades inerentes à compreensão de cada sujeito a respeito de sua história e a estrutura influencia socialmente nas decisões subjetivas do indivíduo, além de propor uma discussão acerca do compartilhamento social das memórias, visto que mesmo acontecendo em tempos e espaços distintos, refletem essencialmente a mesma discussão, através de fatos singulares. Palavras-chave: Memória; Oralidade; Subjetividade; Atleta; Narrativa.Abstract: Starting from the contributions of reference works in the human sciences, we understand an unusual attempt to approach football and soccer career through oral sources. Thinking that the existing works promote a reading from the official sources, we understand that orality is a new perspective of trying to understand the relations established from the subjectivity of the professional athletes, as well as from the social influence that they suffer by the structure, promoting A dynamic space in which a series of issues that we approach both the microhistorical perspective - from the singularities of each narrative - and macro-historical - in the conception of a memory shared by the collective, are emphasized, emphasizing possible recurrences that denote the relevance of certain Themes for this community. In this way, our general objective is to analyze and discuss soccer and soccer career from oral sources. As specific objectives we intend to: reflect on the insertion, difficulties and perspectives of these individuals in the career; Analyze the relations established with businessmen, technicians, managers, colleagues in the profession, family, friends and media; Understand the obscure issues such as sexual harassment and racial prejudice suffered by athletes, problems in personal life from a representative career, wage arrears and other labor issues; To think about the actions of the subjects that compose this medium, starting from the narratives of athletes and ex-athletes who lived this reality; Analyze the discourses, ruptures and silences in the narratives and; Reflect on modern football. We are methodologically based on the precepts of oral history, obeying the principles for the elaboration of a research that foresees the constant dialogue between interviewer and interviewee, as well as the elaboration of a semistructured script, in which the transcription was done in order to eliminate the main Vices of language, having returned to the employees for their appreciation and later use in the analyzes proposed by the thematic. The analyzes were based on the understanding of the oral sources from the individual and collective memory, reiterating that the reflection of the orities understood the subjectivity within the scope of the contents, the context and the conditions of the discourse production, broadening the discussions for the understanding of the representativity that Each subject attributed to the history itself, perspectivating feelings that denoted positive and negative memories, understood from the reinterpretation of the past in the present. Our hypothesis was confirmed, evidencing that the soccer athlete's career is notable for the twofold truth between subjectivity and structure, in which the first one denotes the particularities inherent in each subject's understanding of their history and the structure influences socially in the subjective decisions of the As well as to propose a discussion about the social sharing of memories, since even in different times and spaces, they reflect essentially the same discussion, through singular facts. O mito do herói: uma análise a partir do discurso da Folha de S.Paulo acerca do caso Ronaldo na Copa do Brasil de 2009

O objetivo deste artigo consiste em analisar e discutir como o jornal Folha de S. Paulo retratou a imagem de Ronaldo nas matérias publicadas durante a disputa e após a conquista da Copa do Brasil de 2009. Metodologicamente, o presente estudo é caracterizado como uma pesquisa histórica, pautada pelos procedimentos da história do tempo presente e o material de análise foi constituído pelo caderno de esportes da Folha de S. Paulo. Notamos que o jornal elabora o discurso através de um protagonismo implícito no histórico de conquistas e fracassos do atleta, demonstrando Ronaldo como um sujeito consolidado no campo esportivo e associando sua imagem como modelo de representação social.This article's purpose is to analyze and discuss how the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo portrayed Ronaldo's image in articles published during the contest and after winning 2009 Brazil's Cup. Methodologically, this study is characterized as a historical research guided by the procedures of the history of the present time. The analysis material was constituted by the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper's sports section. We note that the paper elaborates its discourse through a protagonist role implicit in the athlete's history of achievements and failures, demonstrating Ronaldo as an established subject in the sports field and associating his image to a model for social representation

EXPERIÊNCIAS INDESEJÁVEIS: ALGUNS CASOS DE ASSÉDIO SEXUAL NO FUTEBOL

This work describes the memories of two professional athletes and two former professional athletes about their experiences with cases of sexual harassment in the base categories of Brazilian football clubs. We used oral history – a research method that employs interviews with subjects who had experiences that can somehow contribute to analyses of a particular object of study. Therefore, we understand that orality addresses the singularity of each narrative, since the stories are told from the point of view of those who experienced them. However, the recurrence of cases concerning a previously unacknowledged social problem reiterates that these cases were already happening and sometimes went unrecognized by the media and the authorities responsible for curbing this type of criminal action. El objetivo de este trabajo es retratar las memorias de dos atletas y dos exatletas profesionales del fútbol en lo que se refiere a sus experiencias con relación a casos de acoso sexual en las categorías de base de clubes brasileños. Nos pautamos metodológicamente por la historia oral, que es un método de investigación que utiliza entrevistas con sujetos que han vivido experiencias que de alguna forma pueden servirnos para analizar un determinado objeto de estudio. Comprendemos, entonces, que la oralidad trata de la singularidad de cada narrativa, ya que las historias son contadas desde el punto de vista de quien, de alguna forma, las ha vivido. Sin embargo, la reincidencia de casos referentes a un problema social en evidencia hoy y que anteriormente permanecía velado, reitera que esos casos ya ocurrían, y a veces pasaban desapercibidos por los medios y por las autoridades responsables en cohibir ese tipo de acción criminal.  O objetivo deste trabalho é retratar as memórias de dois atletas e dois ex-atletas profissionais de futebol, no que diz respeito às suas experiências com relação a casos de assédio sexual nas categorias de base de clubes brasileiros. Nos pautamos metodologicamente pela História Oral, que é um método de pesquisa que se utiliza de entrevistas com sujeitos que vivenciaram experiências que de alguma forma podem servir para analisarmos um determinado objeto de estudo. Compreendemos então que a oralidade trata da singularidade de cada narrativa, visto que as histórias são contadas a partir do ponto de vista de quem, de alguma forma as vivenciou. Entretanto, a reincidência de casos referentes a um problema social em evidência que anteriormente permanecia velado reitera que esses casos já aconteciam, e por vezes passavam despercebidos pela mídia e pelas autoridades responsáveis em coibir esse tipo de ação criminosa.

El fenómeno de las hinchadas organizadas de fútbol en Brasil – elementos teóricos y bibliográficos

O objetivo deste artigo é abordar o fenômeno das torcidas organizadas no Brasil, atentando para o desvelamento de algumas das lógicas subjacentes aos “estilos de vida” de seus integrantes e aos seus comportamentos, por vezes, orientados pela violência física e verbalizada contra os torcedores rivais. Para isso, delimitou-se a retomada de alguns processos históricos e estruturais inerente à sociabilidade torcedora, discutindo os motivos pelos quais a interação social pode gerar conflitos entre grupos. A discussão substanciou-se nas literaturas acadêmicas da área no sentido de estabelecer uma conversação entre as principais obras acerca do tema. Entre outros aspectos, a violência nas TO’s pode caracterizar-se a partir da rivalidade hostil que causa um desequilíbrio quando torcedores organizados de clubes diferentes se encontram pela cidade antes de uma partida. A tensão-excitação que o futebol causa nos indivíduos possibilita a quebra do comportamento socialmente aceito, gerando atos violentos.The purpose of this article is to address the phenomenon of organized supporters in Brazil, unveiling some of the logics underlying the ‘lifestyles’ of its members and their behaviors, sometimes guided by physical and voiced violence against rival fans. For this, delimited to resumption of some historical and structural processes inherent sociability fans, discussing the reasons why social interaction can create conflicts between groups. The argument is substantiated in the academic literature in the area to establish a conversation between the major works on the subject. Among other things, violence among organized supporters can be characterized as hostile rivalry that causes an imbalance when organized supporters of different clubs meet for the city before a match. The tension-excitement that football enables individuals concerned in the breaking of socially accepted behavior, generating violent acts.El propósito de este artículo es abordar el fenómeno de las hinchadas organizadas en Brasil, destacando para la presentación de algunas lógicas subyacentes a los “estilos de vida” de sus miembros y sus comportamientos, a veces guiados por la violencia física y expresado contra los torcedores rivales. Para esto, se delimita la reanudación de algunos procesos históricos y estructurales inherentes a la sociabilidad torcedora, discutiendo las razones por las cuales la interacción social puede crear conflictos entre los grupos. El argumento se fundamenta en la literatura académica del área para establecer un diálogo entre las obras más importantes sobre el tema. Entre otras cosas, la violencia en las hinchadas organizadas se puede caracterizar como la rivalidad hostil que causa un desequilibrio cuando los torcedores  organizados de diferentes clubes se reúnen en la ciudad antes de una partida. La tensión-excitación que el fútbol promueve a las personas posibilita una quiebra del comportamiento socialmente aceptado, generando actos de violencia

DO CÉU AO INFERNO: NARRATIVAS SOBRE A PERFORMANCE DA SELEÇÃO BRASILEIRA DE FUTEBOL NO JORNAL FOLHA DE S. PAULO (2013-2014)

This article seeks (1) to present antithetical narratives about Brazil’s national football team published by newspaper Folha de S. Paulo when the team won the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and was eliminated in the semi-finals of 2014 FIFA World Cup and (2) to point out the structuring mechanism through which those narratives are presented in the social world. Therefore, the text has three parts. In the early sections we pursue the first objective while in the third part we argue that social effectiveness of sports narratives is built through two relational strategies – recognition and stigma – which partly explain the plot in which journalistic accounts about Brazil’s national football team take it to “heaven” or “hell”, while feeding back into the country’s system of football beliefs. En este trabajo se pretende: (1) presentar las narrativas antitéticas difundidas sobre la selección brasileña de fútbol en el periódico Folha de S. Paulo con motivo de la conquista de la Copa de las Confederaciones de 2013 y su eliminación en las semifinales de la Copa del Mundo FIFA de 2014 y (2) traer a la superficie el mecanismo estructurante a través del cual estos relatos son ofrecidos en el mundo social. Para ello, el texto se divide en tres momentos. En las primeras secciones del manuscrito buscamos desarrollar el primer objetivo, mientras que en la tercera parte se argumenta que la eficacia social de la narración deportiva se construye mediante dos estrategias relacionales – consagración y estigma – que, en parte, aclaran la trama donde las narrativas periodísticas sobre la selección brasileña de fútbol llevan a ésta del “cielo” al “infierno”, sin dejar, sin embargo, de retroalimentar el sistema de creencias futbolísticas del país. Neste texto procuramos: (1) apresentar as narrativas antitéticas veiculadas sobre a performance da seleção brasileira de futebol no jornal Folha de S. Paulo em razão da conquista da Copa das Confederações de 2013 e da eliminação na semifinal da Copa do Mundo da FIFA de 2014 e (2) trazer à tona o mecanismo estruturante através do qual essas narrativas são ofertadas no mundo social. Para dar conta dessa proposta, o texto foi dividido em três momentos. Nas seções iniciais do manuscrito procuramos levar a cabo o primeiro objetivo, enquanto na terceira parte argumentamos que a eficácia social das narrativas esportivas se constrói mediante duas estratégias relacionais – consagração e estigma – que, em parte, esclarecem a trama na qual as narrativas jornalísticas sobre a seleção brasileira de futebol a levam do “céu” ao “inferno”, sem deixar, no entanto, de retroalimentar o sistema de crenças futebolísticas do país. 

NOS BASTIDORES DO FUTEBOL: AS RELAÇÕES ENTRE ATLETA/EMPRESÁRIO DO PONTO DE VISTA DA MEMÓRIA DE JOGADORES PROFISSIONAIS

Resumo: Este estudo objetivou entender a influência dos empresários na carreira de atletas de futebol. Participaram da pesquisa cinco atletas profissionais, os quais foram submetidos a entrevistas sistematizadas pela metodologia da história oral. Após a transcrição das entrevistas e análise das informações, verificamos que a trama relacional entre atleta e empresário é, em grande medida, balizada por um notório desequilíbrio de poder. Em que pese, em determinadas situações, os atletas detenham alguma autonomia sobre suas carreiras, na maioria das vezes, o empresário tem forte influência e decisão nesse meio, sobretudo quando os atletas estão desempregados.Palavras-chave: Interdependência; Oralidade; Poder. Behind the scenes of football: the relationship between the athlete/businessman point of view of the memory of professional players Abstract: This study aimed to understand the influence of entrepreneurs in the career of soccer athletes. Five professional athletes participated in the research or those who were submitted to interviews systematized by the methodology of oral history. After transcribing the interviews and analyzing the information, it appears that the relational relationship between athlete and entrepreneur is, to a large extent, marked by a history of power imbalance. In case of suspicion, in situations of danger in the holders of some frequency range, in most cases, the entrepreneur has a strong influence and should be considered in this environment, especially when the athletes are unemployed.Keywords: Interdependence; Orality; Power. Entre bastidores del fútbol: la relación atleta/empresario desde el punto de vista de la memoria de los jugadores profesionales Resumen: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comprender la influencia de los empresarios en la carrera de los atletas de fútbol. Participaron de la investigación cinco atletas profesionales, que fueron sometidos a entrevistas sistematizadas por la metodología de la historia oral. Tras transcribir las entrevistas y analizar la información, encontramos que la trama relacional entre deportista y empresario está, en gran medida, marcada por un notorio desequilibrio de poder. No obstante, en determinadas situaciones los deportistas tienen cierta autonomía sobre sus carreras, la mayoría de las veces el empresario tiene una fuerte influencia y decisión en este entorno, especialmente cuando los deportistas están desempleados.Palabras-clave: Interdependencia; oralidad; Energía

Del amateurismo al fútbol-espectáculo: una reflexión sobre los clubes de fútbol brasileños

The article focuses on the transition process from professional football to spectacle football, especially considering the potential power of Brazilian clubs in relation to other institutions of this field. At first, it is intended to highlight the main features of each stage of the transition and notice which institutions and agents held greater potential of power. Secondly, the attempt is to compare currently the ways of getting income in foreign and Brazilian clubs, considering the spectacularized logic in which the football is inserted. It is possible to affirm that the modernization process of Brazilian football is still incomplete. The transition from professional football to spectacle football, at least for the clubs, has not yet occurred in full.O objetivo desta pesquisa consta em uma reflexão acerca do processo de transição do futebol profissional para futebol espetáculo, considerando principalmente os potenciais de poder dos clubes brasileiros em relação a outros agentes atuantes neste campo. Pretende-se, num primeiro momento, destacar as principais características de cada uma das fases do processo de transição desde o amadorismo até o futebol espetáculo e perceber quais agentes detinham maiores potenciais de poder. Num segundo momento intenta-se comparar, na atualidade, as formas de obtenção de receitas de clubes estrangeiros e brasileiros, já considerando a lógica espetacularizada na qual o futebol está inserido. Tornou-se possível afirmar que o processo de modernização do futebol brasileiro ainda está incompleto, ou seja, a transição do futebol profissional para o futebol espetáculo, pelo menos para os clubes, ainda não ocorreu de forma plena.El objetivo de esta investigación consiste en una reflexión sobre el proceso de transición desde el fútbol profesional hacia el fútbol espectáculo, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el potencial poder de los clubes brasileños en relación con otros agentes que actúan en este campo. Se pretende, en un primer momento, destacar las principales características de cada etapa de la transición del amateurismo al fútbol espectáculo y percibir cuales agentes detentan un mayor poder potencial. En un segundo momento, el intento es comparar, en la actualidad, las formas de obtener ingresos por parte de los clubes extranjeros y brasileños, teniendo en cuenta la lógica espectacularizada en la que se inserta el fútbol. Es posible afirmar que el proceso de modernización del fútbol brasileño está aún incompleto, es decir, la transición de fútbol profesional para el fútbol espectáculo, por lo menos para los clubes, aún no ha tenido lugar en su totalidad

Aspectos Nutricionais Associados a Patogênese das Doenças Inflamatórias Intestinais: uma Revisão Sistemática / Nutritional Feature Associated with the Pathogenesis of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases: A Systematic Review

Objective: To evaluate the scientific evidence about the fecal inflammatory biomarkers used in medical practice for the evaluation of disease activity and diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease.Data source: Were evaluated articles of BVS databases, Scielo, Google Scholar, PubMed and Science Direct. The descriptors used in this review were "inflammatory bowel disease" AND (“diet” OR “nutrition”). They considered manuscripts published between 2014 and December 2019, available in full and published in English.Data synthesis: Initially identified 676 articles. The first selection, based on the analysis of the titles and abstracts of the 676 selected articles, resulted in 90 articles and after the complete reading of the manuscripts, 24 studies were considered eligible for analysis. No study has been conducted in Brazil.Conclusions: The studies analyzed in this systematic review increase that qualitative or quantitative changes in certain food groups in the composition of diets make the patient susceptible to IBD or increase the chances of acute crises

NEOTROPICAL XENARTHRANS: a data set of occurrence of xenarthran species in the Neotropics

Xenarthrans – anteaters, sloths, and armadillos – have essential functions for ecosystem maintenance, such as insect control and nutrient cycling, playing key roles as ecosystem engineers. Because of habitat loss and fragmentation, hunting pressure, and conflicts with 24 domestic dogs, these species have been threatened locally, regionally, or even across their full distribution ranges. The Neotropics harbor 21 species of armadillos, ten anteaters, and six sloths. Our dataset includes the families Chlamyphoridae (13), Dasypodidae (7), Myrmecophagidae (3), Bradypodidae (4), and Megalonychidae (2). We have no occurrence data on Dasypus pilosus (Dasypodidae). Regarding Cyclopedidae, until recently, only one species was recognized, but new genetic studies have revealed that the group is represented by seven species. In this data-paper, we compiled a total of 42,528 records of 31 species, represented by occurrence and quantitative data, totaling 24,847 unique georeferenced records. The geographic range is from the south of the USA, Mexico, and Caribbean countries at the northern portion of the Neotropics, to its austral distribution in Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, and Uruguay. Regarding anteaters, Myrmecophaga tridactyla has the most records (n=5,941), and Cyclopes sp. has the fewest (n=240). The armadillo species with the most data is Dasypus novemcinctus (n=11,588), and the least recorded for Calyptophractus retusus (n=33). With regards to sloth species, Bradypus variegatus has the most records (n=962), and Bradypus pygmaeus has the fewest (n=12). Our main objective with Neotropical Xenarthrans is to make occurrence and quantitative data available to facilitate more ecological research, particularly if we integrate the xenarthran data with other datasets of Neotropical Series which will become available very soon (i.e. Neotropical Carnivores, Neotropical Invasive Mammals, and Neotropical Hunters and Dogs). Therefore, studies on trophic cascades, hunting pressure, habitat loss, fragmentation effects, species invasion, and climate change effects will be possible with the Neotropical Xenarthrans dataset
