A vanishing theorem for a class of logarithmic D-modules

Let OX (resp. DX) be the sheaf of holomorphic functions (resp. the sheaf of linear differential operators with holomorphic coefficients) on X = Cn. Let D X be a locally weakly quasi-homogeneous free divisor defined by a polynomial f. In this paper we prove that, locally, the annihilating ideal of 1/fk over DX is generated by linear differential operators of order 1 (for k big enough). For this purpose we prove a vanishing theorem for the extension groups of a certain logarithmic DX–module with OX. The logarithmic DX–module is naturally associated with D (see Notation 1.1). This result is related to the so called Logarithmic Comparison Theorem

Nas relacións interpersonais o neno recibe constantemente un feed-back correctivo.

A Novel Strategy for Improving the Quality of Embedded Zerotree Wavelet Images Transmitted over Alamouti Coding Systems

The final publication is available at Springer via http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-642-21501-8[Abstract] This work deals with the transmission of images, previously coded using the Embedded Zerotree Wavelet (EZW) transform, over wireless systems in which Space-Time Coding (STC) is used. It is shown how the system performance, measured in terms of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), can be improved using bit allocation strategies that take into account the special structure of the EZW bitstream, where the bits firstly allocated are associated to the lowest frequency subbands, and therefore, an error–free transmission of such bits will be crucial to appropriately recover the transmitted image.Galicia. This study analyzed the morphometric, microsatellite loci and mitochondrial control region variation of the striped weakfish from two feeding and spawning grounds in the coastal area of Buenos Aires province. The characterization of the body shape proved to be different between sites. Genetic structure analysis showed that the main source of genetic variation was within populations rather than among populations and low genetic differentiation was observed between sites. The striped weakfish inhabiting the coastal areas of Buenos Aires would exhibit two management units in agreement with other fishes studied in both areas.Fil: Sabadin, David Ezequiel. Influence of the substrate type on CVD grown homoepitaxial diamond layer quality by cross sectional TEM and CL analysis

To assess diamond-based semiconducting devices, a reduction of point defect levels and an accurate control of doping are required as well as the control of layer thickness. Among the analyses required to improve such parameters, cross sectional studies should take importance in the near future. The present contribution shows how FIB (focused ion beam) preparations followed by electron microscopy related techniques as TEM or CL allowed to performanalysis versus depth in the layer, doping and point defect levels. Three samples grown along the sameweek in the same machinewith identical growth conditions but on different substrates (CVD-IIIa (110) oriented, CVD-optical grade (100) oriented and a HPHT-Ib (100) oriented) are studied. Even though A-band is observed by CL, no dislocation is observed by CTEM. Point defect type and level are shown to substantially change with respect to the substrate type as well as the boron doping levels that vary within an order of magnitude. H3 present in the epilayer grown on HPHT type of substrate is replaced by T1 and NE3 point defects for epilayers grown on the CVD type one. An increase of excitonic transitions through LO phonons is also shown to take place near the surface while only TO ones are detected deeper in the epilayer. Such results highlight the importance of choosing the correct substrate.5 page

The Spanish discards estimates of the megrim (Lepidorhombus whiffiagonis) stock of ICES Subarea VII and Divisions VIIIabd (mgw-78) are derived from data compiled by the Spanish on-board sampling program, developed by the Spanish institutes IEO and AZTI following the European Data Collection Regulation (DCR, DCF) guidelines since its implementation in 2003. A description of the Spanish fishery and the respective discards sampling program, as well as an analysis of the sampling level and the estimation process of mgw-78 discards are presented

Examples of good practices in teacher training through Erasmus+ projects

    Get PDF
[EN]Teacher training plays a fundamental role in educational success, as recognized in the different studies carried out by OECD, UNESCO, the World Bank, and other prestigious institutions. The European Union and associated countries promote actions to improve the educational system and among them teacher training has an important role. One of the programs that allows the development of this type of activity is the Erasmus+ Programme. The projects of this program are the source of inspiration for the research that is being carried out in order to obtain a methodological guide for the successful use of digital technologies in education in improving learning. This article focuses on five examples of projects classified as good practice or successful experience related to teacher training as a result of the analysis that is being carried out in that research. The examples that are developed here show how to work towards a better specialization of the teaching staff and serve as inspiration to design training practices that encourage initial and continuous learning and professional improvement of teaching methods, in turn influencing the improvement of the educational system as well as teaching and learning processes. All this aimed at covering the real training needs of teachers
