    O cuidado da saúde do homem no quotidiano da saúde da família

    Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Enfermagem, Florianópolis, 2014.Esta pesquisa tem como objetivos: compreender o quotidiano dos homens pescadores e suas famílias; e identificar as interações de descuidado e cuidado adotados pelo homem e sua família em seu quotidiano, segundo a ótica familial, contribuindo para a promoção da saúde. Para tal, elegeu-se, como base teórica, as noções e Pressupostos Teóricos da Sensibilidade de Michel Maffesoli, além da Concepção Dialógica e Libertadora de Paulo Freire. Trata-se de uma pesquisa com abordagem qualitativa articulada com Itinerário de Pesquisa Freireano que envolve: investigação temática, codificação/ descodificação e desvelamento crítico, permeando a coleta e análise dos dados. Realizou-se no segundo semestre de 2013, em uma comunidade de pescadores artesanais, numa ilha do sul do Brasil, com devidos cuidados éticos, de acordo coma Comissão Nacional de Ética em Pesquisa (CONEP), parecer nº 447.936. Participaram como membros da família, oito mulheres com idade entre 30 e 72 anos. Foram desenvolvidas Oficinas inspiradas no Projeto Ninho e nos Círculos de Cultura, respondendo as questões norteadoras. Os resultados mostraram: como é o dia a dia: cansativo, de muito trabalho, longo, de ansiedade, mas que também pode ser tranquilo, bom, produtivo; quem é considerado como família: "os de casa", aqueles convivem, o marido; a família de sangue, o pai, mãe, filhos, sobrinhos; os de fora: quem se de bem, protege, amigo, companheiro mais presente". Como é a relação do homem com sua família: guerreiro, companheiro, complicado, mas se releva; tem atrito, mas "é de boa". O quotidiano das famílias dos homens pescadores mostra um modo de viver, ressaltando dimensões do ser homem e ser mulher, delineado pelo trabalho, que se relaciona com seu processo saúde doença. Como as mulheres da família cuidam de si para ser saudável: entrega seus dias para Deus, faz uma boa alimentação, uma caminhada, prática de esportes, pedala e dá uma volta na praia; arranca mato, "terapia da terra".14Como as mulheres cuidam de sua família para ser saudável: aconselha sobre a saúde dos filhos e do marido; se preocupa; "cuido da minha família, mas eu cuido de mim em primeiro lugar"; "" eu faço de tudo e eles não cuidam"; "" eu já cuidei muito e eles estão bem"";" "carrego tudo nas costas""; ""lavo, passo e cozinho". Como o homem de sua família cuida de si para ser saudável: o mar faz bem, vai à praia, faz tudo de bom, usa bicicleta, pedala bastante, musculação, pedala e joga futebol, usa boné e protetor, pedala bastante, joga futebol, vai para a praia e o mar. Como o homem não se cuida para ser saudável: come demais, bebe cerveja, levanta da cama e pisa no chão gelado; sai do banho quente e vai para a rua, não passa protetor, não usa boné, não usa óculos, refere que o médico inventa doença, dá desculpa de não ir para o médico; não vai no médico; e não toma a medicação direito. Como o descuido do homem, em relação à sua saúde, interfere na sua família: preocupa, demanda cuidado, "homem doente incomoda a mulher", homem pega uma gripe e fica quase morrendo", dá trabalho para mulher e filhos, traz sofrimento. Foi possível identificar a força da cultura que sequestra o cuidado do universo masculino, concentrando-o no mundo das mulheres, sobrecarregando-as, ?infantilizando-os?, podendo levar a um adoecimento. O exercício dialógico reforça a importância da grupalidade e o entrecuidado, desenvolvendo uma sensibilidade relativista, e o pensamento libertário, contribuindo para Promoção da Saúde, visto que colabora com a criação de ambientes favoráveis a saúde, reforça ação comunitária, desenvolve habilidades pessoais, podendo, assim, fomentar a reorientação dos serviços de saúde.Abstract : This research aims to understand the daily life of fishermen and their families men; and identify the interactions of careless and care adopted by the man and his family in their daily lives, according to the familial perspective, seeking to contribute to the promotion of health. For this, he was elected as a theoretical basis, the notions and Theoretical Assumptions of Sensitivity Maffesoli besides Dialogic Conception and Liberation by Paulo Freire. This is a survey of hinged Itinerary Freire Qualitative research approach that involves: thematic research, coding/decoding and critical unveiling , permeating the collection and analysis of data. Was held in the second half of 2013, in a community of fisherfolk, an island in the south of Brazil, due to ethical considerations , according coma National Committee for Ethics in Research (CONEP), certificate Nº. 447 936. Participated as members of the family, eight women aged between 30 and 65 years. Workshops with inspiration in the Project Ninho and Culture Circles were developed by answering the guiding questions. The results showed: how is the everyday: tiring, hard work, long anxiety, but can also be quiet, good, productive, who is regarded as a family, "the insiders", those living, the husband, blood family, father, mother, sons ,nephews; "outsiders": well who protects , friend, companion more present "how is the man´s relationship with his family: warrior, companion, complicated, but if falls; has friction, but "it's good " the daily life of families of fishermen men shows a way of life, emphasizing dimensions of being a man and being a woman, outlined the work that relates to your health disease process As women. family caring for you to be healthy: delivery days to your God, does good food, walking, playing sports, biking and strolling on the beach; pluck weeds, "care of the earth". How women take care of their family to be healthy: advises on the health of children and husband; cares; "take care of my family, but I take care of myself first", " I do everything and they do not16care ", " I took care of and they are very good", "carry it all back", "wash step and cook." As the man of his family cares for them to be healthy: the sea is good, go to the beach, makes everything good , uses bicycle pedals enough, bodybuilding , pedals and plays soccer , wears hat and shield, biking enough, plays football, going to the beach and the sea. As the man does not care to be healthy: eat too much, drink beer, get out of bed and step on the icy ground, out of the hot bath and go to the street, does not pass protector, uses no hat, no glasses, states that doctor invents diseases, gives excuse not to go to the doctor, do not go to the doctor, and do not take the right medication. As the carelessness of man in relation to their health, interferes with your family: care, care demand, "sick man bothers the woman", "man catches the flu and is almost dying", provides work for women and children, brings sorrow . It was possible to identify the strength of the culture that sequesters the care of the male universe, focusing on the world of women, overloading them, "patronizing" them and can lead to illness. The dialogic exercise reinforces the importance and groupality entrecuidado, developing a relativistic sensitivity, and libertarian thought, contributing to health promotion, because they collaborate with the creation of supportive environments, strengthening community action, developing personal skills, and thus, promote reorientation of health services

    Digital feminist activism: analysis of discourses strategies hashtag #primeiroassédio

    O presente estudo consiste em uma análise das estratégias discursivas em torno da hashtag #PrimeiroAssedio, que se consolidou como uma campanha para debate sobre o assédio nas redes sociais pelo blog feminista Think Olga. O objetivo é compreender através de quais dessas estratégias a campanha se espalhou na internet e tornou-se um ato de ativismo discursivo. Para isso, foram coletados 213 tweets, em 2015, feitos até um mês após o lançamento da campanha e analisados segundo seu conteúdo. A análise revelou que o incentivo aos relatos de si e o formato de hashtag foram as principais estratégias da campanha, além de um ponto de partida para outros debates e interações, que ajudaram a consolidar o debate enquanto ativismo digital, apesar de seu desenrolar espontâneo em um ambiente de disputa de repertórios.Palavras-chave: Ação conectiva. Hashtag feminista.The present study consists of an analysis of the discursive strategies around the hashtag #PrimeiroAssedio, which was consolidated as a campaign for debate on harassment on social networks by the feminist blog Think Olga. The goal is to understand through which of these strategies the campaign spread on the internet and became an act of discursive activism. For this, 213 tweets were collected in 2015, made up to one month after the launch of the campaign and analyzed according to its content. The analysis revealed that encouraging self-reporting and the hashtag format were the main strategies of the campaign, as well as a starting point for other debates and interactions, which helped to consolidate the debate as digital activism, despite its spontaneous development in an environment of disputing repertoires.Keywords: Connective action.     The transcription factor Snf1p is involved in a Tup1p-independent manner in the glucose regulation of the major methanol metabolism genes of Hansenula polymorpha

    Hansenula polymorpha is a methylotrophic yeast widely employed in biotechnology as a ''protein factory''. Most promoters used for heterologous protein expression, like MOX (methanol oxidase) and DAS (di-hydroxy acetone synthase), are involved in the peroxisomal methanol metabolism (C1 metabolism) and are under strong glucose repression. Interestingly, the MOX promoter is subjected to glucose regulation also in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a non-methylotrophic yeast in which this phenomenon is well studied. In this species, the transcription factor Tup1p plays an essential role in glucose repression of several genes. This effect is counteracted by the activator Snf1p when glucose is exhausted from medium. Therefore, to test whether this regulatory circuit has been conserved in H. polymorpha, HpTUP1 and HpSNF1 were partially cloned and disrupted. Deletion of HpTUP1 did not affect glucose repression of the major C1 metabolism genes (MOX, DAS). Thus, though conserved, HpTUP1 does not seem to take part in a general glucose repression in H. polymorpha. In contrast, the deletion of HpSNF1 led to significant decreases in the activation of these genes in the absence of glucose.     Exchange of functional domains between a bacterial conjugative relaxase and the integrase of the human adeno-associated virus

    Endonucleases of the HUH family are specialized in processing single-stranded DNA in a variety of evolutionarily highly conserved biological processes related to mobile genetic elements. They share a structurally defined catalytic domain for site-specific nicking and strand-transfer reactions, which is often linked to the activities of additional functional domains, contributing to their overall versatility. To assess if these HUH domains could be interchanged, we created a chimeric protein from two distantly related HUH endonucleases, containing the N-terminal HUH domain of the bacterial conjugative relaxase TrwC and the C-terminal DNA helicase domain of the human adeno-associated virus (AAV) replicase and site-specific integrase. The purified chimeric protein retained oligomerization properties and DNA helicase activities similar to Rep68, while its DNA binding specificity and cleaving-joining activity at oriT was similar to TrwC. Interestingly, the chimeric protein could catalyse site-specific integration in bacteria with an efficiency comparable to that of TrwC, while the HUH domain of TrwC alone was unable to catalyze this reaction, implying that the Rep68 C-terminal helicase domain is complementing the TrwC HUH domain to achieve site-specific integration into TrwC targets in bacteria.     Identification of Malignancy-Associated Changes in Histologically Normal Tumor-Adjacent Epithelium of Patients with HPV-Positive Oropharyngeal Cancer

    The incidence of HPV-positive oropharyngeal cancer (HPV+ OPC) is increasing, thus presenting new challenges for disease detection and management. Noninvasive methods involving brush biopsies of diseased tissues were recently reported as insufficient for tumor detection in HPV+ OPC patients, likely due to differences between the site of tumor initiation at the base of involuted crypts and the site of brush biopsy at the crypt surface. We hypothesized that histologically normal surface epithelial cells in the oropharynx contain changes in nuclear morphology that arise due to tumor proximity. We analyzed the nuclear phenotype of matched tumor, tumor-adjacent normal, and contralateral normal tissues from biopsies of nine HPV+ OPC patients. Measurements of 89 nuclear features were used to train a random forest-based classifier to discriminate between normal and tumor nuclei. We then extracted voting scores from the trained classifier, which classify nuclei on a continuous scale from zero (“normal-like”) to one (“tumor-like”). In each case, the average score of the adjacent normal nuclei was intermediate between the tumor and contralateral normal nuclei. These results provide evidence for the existence of phenotypic changes in histologically normal, tumor-adjacent surface epithelial cells, which could be used as brush biopsy-based biomarkers for HPV+ OPC detection

    Trata-se de um relato de experiência de estágio rural dos acadêmicos de enfermagem da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina em assentamentos da Reforma Agrária. O estágio foi desenvolvido em sete assentamentos dos municípios de Garuva, Araquari e Rio Negrinho localizados na região norte do Estado de Santa Catarina durante o período de 09 a 16 de fevereiro de 2009. A experiência em ensino, pesquisa e extensão com comunidades e movimentos sociais, possibilitam a melhoria da formação do enfermeiro, pois amplia a visão do estudante, rompe barreiras do conhecimento e são oportunidades que podem ser expandidas para outros contextos e parceria
