PESQUISA EMPÍRICA: MÉTODO PROGRESSISTA PARA DESENVOLVER COMPETÊNCIAS DE LIDERANÇA EM ACADÊMICOS DE CIÊNCIAS CONTÁBEIS

A necessidade de adequação dos cursos de Ciências Contábeis para entregar ao mercado, profissionais com competências de liderança, capazes de atender as complexidades apresentadas pelas organizações, nortearam este trabalho que teve como objetivo identificar as contribuições da utilização de pesquisa empírica para desenvolvimento de competência de liderança no curso de Ciências Contábeis. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva utilizando os procedimentos estudo de caso e pesquisa bibliográfica, no qual utilizou-se como amostra os acadêmicos do curso de Ciências Contábeis do ano de 2014/01, matriculados na disciplina Liderança Situacional na Atividade Contábil da UNIR. Os resultados da pesquisa permitem afirmar que o método, apresenta-se como ótima alternativa dentre as metodologias de ensino disponíveis aos docentes das áreas humanas nos cursos de Ciências Contábeis, ressaltando-se como suas contribuições, a capacidade de oportunizar a vivência real no contexto das organizações e possibilitar aos acadêmicos, a capacidade de avaliar criticamente os prós e contras dos comportamentos adotados quando no exercício profissional que demandar competências de líderes

É indiscutível que a matemática tenha revolucionado (e ainda revoluciona) nos últimos séculos o modo de encararmos a realidade e a maneira de lidarmos com tudo que a compõe. Suas aplicações são diversas em quase todas as áreas da ciência, tais como Física, Biologia, Química, Estatística e Ciências Sociais. As Equações Diferenciais Ordinárias e Parciais recebem destaque no conjunto de dessas aplicações porque permitem modelar fenômenos e obter, através de equações, conclusões essenciais sobre eles. O presente trabalho mostra um estudo sobre Resultados do tipo Ambrosetti-Prodi que consistem em resolver uma equação da forma G(u,s)=0, encontrando um valor real s1 para o qual esta equação possua nenhuma solução se s < s1, pelo menos uma solução se s = s1 e pelo menos duas soluções se s > s1. A pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo, e iremos apresentar um estudo dos Resultados do tipo Ambrosetti-Prodi para uma equação simples e duas outras equações diferenciais mais elaboradas, com intuito de compreender o comportamento do número de soluções ao variar o parâmetro s

PRODUÇÃO INTEGRADA DE FRUTAS PIF e a produção de Açaí (Euterpe oleracea Mart) no Estado do Pará: ameaças ou oportunidades?

Este trabalho, apoiado na dinâmica de crescimento do consumo de sucos naturais, como uma das bebidas esportivas associadas à imagem de produto saudável, suscita as questões relacionadas com a aplicação do PIF junto à produção do Açaí, visto a ampliação da aceitação desse produto nos mercados nacional e internacional. Está fundamentado na aplicação da legislação específica e seus pré-requisitos frente às características peculiares da exploração do cultivo do Açaí no Estado do Pará. A produção foi “rankeada” através do Índice de Desempenho Competitivo – IDC, que serviu para classificar os 20 principais municípios produtores, a partir dos quais se realizam as análises. Os resultados indicam a necessidade de uma concertação interinstitucional e criação de mecanismos de gestão na cadeia produtiva, a fim de vencer os desafios impostos. This work, sustained on growth’s dynamic of natural juice’s consumption as a sportive drink associated mith an image of healthy product, suggest questions related to the application of PIF on production of Açaí, considering the enlargement of acceptation of this product on national’s and international’s market. It is purpose in front of unique caractters of Açaí cultivation on Pará State. The production was ranked by the Competitive Performance’s Index, which classified the 20 main municipal district’s productors that are analysed. The state of the art of academic research on CTSA in the period from 2014 to 2018

O presente artigo se propôs a analisar as publicações sobre a temática Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente (CTS/CTSA), produzidas entre 2014 até 2018, utilizando seis bases de dados distintas para o levantamento destas informações, com a finalidade de trazer referências do que já consta publicado sobre este assunto. Os descritores considerados para a análise foram CTS/CTSA de forma individualizada, e o cruzamento deste unitermo com outros três (QSC - Questões Sociocientíficas, Formação de Professores em Ciências e Educação em Ciências), ressaltando que a coleta aqui realizada será utilizada posteriormente como aporte teórico em Tese de Doutorado. O número de trabalhos localizados sobre o tema encontra-se detalhadamente descrito no artigo, sendo que nenhum dos trabalhos pesquisados trouxe o cruzamento das quatro temáticas propostas.This article aims to analyze publications on the theme Science, Technology, Society and Environment (STS / STSE), produced between 2014 to 2018, using six different databases to collect some information, in order to bring references from the already published on this subject. The descriptors considered for the analysis were STS / STSE individually, and the crossing of this uniterm with three others (SSI - Socio-scientific Issues, Science Teacher Education and Science Education), emphasizing that the collection performed here will be used later as theoretical input in Doctoral Thesis. The number of works located on the topic is described in detail in the article, and none of the researched works brought together the four proposed themes

Heavy metals removal of leachates from a mechanical biological municipal solid waste treatment plant for use as fertilizers

Leachates produced from treatment plants contains carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements. This work aims to develop heavy metals removal processes using solid adsorbents synthetized at CIMO and LSRE-LCM laboratories at Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, such as activated carbon produced from a compost material from the same treatment plant and modified clays obtained through a partnership with a Kazakhstan institution, to adequate the leachate from the composting line of a mechanical and biological treatment facility, into commercial fertilizers which fit the requirements of the European Legislation. Preliminary results show that the adsoption materials promoted a reduction in the heavy metals content, but this reduction also affected the organic carbon content. Validation of a Single RGB-D Camera for Gait Assessment of Polyneuropathy Patients

Motion analysis systems based on a single markerless RGB-D camera are more suitable for clinical practice than multi-camera marker-based reference systems. Nevertheless, the validity of RGB-D cameras for motor function assessment in some diseases affecting gait, such as Transthyretin Familial Amyloid Polyneuropathy (TTR-FAP), is yet to be investigated. In this study, the agreement between the Kinect v2 and a reference system for obtaining spatiotemporal and kinematic gait parameters was evaluated in the context of TTR-FAP. 3-D body joint data provided by both systems were acquired from ten TTR-FAP symptomatic patients, while performing ten gait trials. For each gait cycle, we computed several spatiotemporal and kinematic gait parameters. We then determined, for each parameter, the Bland Altman's bias and 95% limits of agreement, as well as the Pearson's and concordance correlation coefficients, between systems. The obtained results show that an affordable, portable and non-invasive system based on an RGB-D camera can accurately obtain most of the studied gait parameters (excellent or good agreement for eleven spatiotemporal and one kinematic). Children's book publishing : study on the management of projects in the small publishing houses of Porto Alegre / RS

O presente estudo busca compreender como são produzidos os livros infantis sob o ponto de vista da gestão de projetos. A metodologia utilizada é estudo de casos múltiplos, na qual foram utilizados entrevistas em profundidade com três editoras de Porto Alegre (RS) que possuem inserção na área editorial infanto-juvenil. Para balizar esse conhecimento prático, buscou-se na área da Administração o Corpo de Conhecimento em Gestão de Projetos (PMBOK). A partir do cruzamento das entrevistas com as áreas de conhecimento do PMBOK, foi possível perceber que a edição de livros infantis é realizada de modo empírico e intuitivo. Existe um acúmulo de funções no editor, sendo que este é responsável pelo gerenciamento das áreas de Integração, Escopo, Tempo, Qualidade, Pessoas, Comunicações e Partes Interessadas; ficando sob responsabilidade de outro setor as áreas de Custos e Aquisição. Ao longo do artigo são apresentadas as áreas do PMBOK, assim como as peculiaridades de gerenciamento de projeto para a criação de livros infantis. PalavrasThe present study aims to identify how children's books are produced from the point of view of project management. The methodology used is a multi-case study, in which in-depth interviews were conducted with three publishing houses in Porto Alegre (RS), which are inserted in the editorial area of children and youth. In order to validate this practical knowledge, we sought in the Administration area the Body of Knowledge in Project Management (PMBOK). From the intersection of the interviews with the areas of knowledge of the PMBOK, it was possible to perceive that the edition of children's books is carried out in an empirical and intuitive way. There is an accumulation of functions in the editor, which is responsible for managing the areas of Integration, Scope, Time, Quality, People, Communications and Stakeholders; being the responsibility of another sector the Costs and Acquisition areas. Throughout the article are presented the areas of the PMBOK, as well as the peculiarities of project management for the creation of children's books
