El Puente de Bac de Roda / Felipe II de Santiago Calatrava

El pont del carrer Bac de Roda / Felip II, de Santiago Calatrava, forma part d'una serie de renovacions urbanístiques que van respondre a una nova concepció que s'inicia a Barcelona en la decada dels anys 80. La seva actuació es concentra en I'ordenació i la integració del seu entorn, estableix la connexió viaria entre el mar i la muntanya i crea un eix perpendicular (parc i eix vial). Va guanyar el prerni F.A.D. 1988: el gran premi d'arquitectura, el premi almillor espai urba i el del jurat d'opinió 1987. La seva vició general és de Ileugeresa i esveltesa, reeixit i agosarat per la Iínia renovadora del seu perfil, concebut amb la seguretat que li confereix la tecnica d'enginyeria. Els punts de vista que ofereix la seva imatge serveixen al pensament i idea creativa del seu dissenyador per conseguir I'objectiu proposat.The bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava is part of a series of urban renewals which aimed to provide a new look for Barcelona at the beginning of the nineteen eighties. Calatrava's purpose was to integrate the bridge with its immediate surroundings, connect the sea with the mountains and create a perpendicular axis (the park and the main road). He was awarded the F.A.D. prize in 1988: Gran premi d'arquitectura, premi al millor espai urba, and the jury prize in 1987. The general appearance is one of lightness and delicacy, but also graceful and bold, owing to the innovative line of its profile, conceived with the confidence conferred by the engineering technique. The bridge can be seen from different points of view (cultural, artistic), which offer an image of the original creation of the designer. This coincides with the goal he had been set in the urban context, that of recreating, embelleshing and developing this urban space

Hemos intentado describir los factores que inciden de una forma más directa en el funcionamiento de los movimientos mandibulares y su influencia desde el punto de vista práctico. Intentamos facilitar el conocimiento de este tema simplificándolo y dando a conocer el punto de vista ideal, así como los distintos tipos de oclusión. Estado actual sobre el concepto de Relación Céntrica. Finalmente citamos el problema de la disfunción témporomandibular, así como las anomalías oclusales por la relación que tienen con el factor oclusales

The Implica-acció Project

.La etapa de la vejez se va prolongando, a la vez que se van mejorando las prestaciones médicas y la atención a las personas mayores. Este aumento de la esperanza de vida se ve acompañado de roles desvalorizados socialmente. Se hace necesario un cambio cultural que entienda que el envejecimiento es un proceso individual y colectivo no invalidante puesto que las personas pueden seguir desarrollando capacidades y seguir realizando aportaciones sociales. El proyecto Implica acció da respuesta a esta necesidad y promueve en Granollers la dinamización de las personas mayores de la ciudad.Old age is being prolonged while medical benefits and care for older people are improving. However. this increase in life expectancy has been accompanied by socially devalued roles. A cultural change is required that considers ageing to be a non-disabling individual or group process: the people affected can still develop their abilities and contribute to society. The Implica-acció Project is a response to this need. encouraging measures that stimulate activity in older people in Granollers

The EU at the UN First Committee

When acting in the international arena, the EU becomes a single big power representing the 27 Member States (MMSS). However, the EU does not have a common single voice in Foreign Policy. Security is a crucial sector for all States. Therefore, they do not want to share these competencies with the Union. The Treaty of Lisbon reformed the Treaty of the European Union (TUE) and the Treaty of Functioning of the European Union (TFUE). The TUE, in article 27.21 exposes that the High Representative of Foreign Affairs and Security Policy shall represent the EU in talks with third states, in international organisations and international conferences. In article 342 of the TUE, it is reflected that the MMSS shall coordinate their actions in international organisations. This article has been present since 1957 even though it has evolved in the different reforming treaties. Since its creation, the EU has desired acting with a single voice in the different International Organisations. Nonetheless, the Treaty of Lisbon increased the High Representative's power and functions and created the European Diplomatic Body. That is why there is the belief that this Treaty changed the EU's behaviour in the international organisations and the MMSS approach on Foreign Affairs..

La Formació de la infermera quirúrgica a Catalunya

Consultable des del TDXTítol obtingut de la portada digitalitzadaEn un inici justifico la recerca per la conjuntura de conèixer les dues ciències: la infermeria i la pedagogia, tant una com l'altra amb molts anys d'experiència en les dues vessants, precisament per això he pogut constatar que són dues matèries complementaries i que s'han de dir moltes coses una a l'altra, perquè el seu objectiu és la persona, i el seu millorament. A traves d'un mètode inductiu descriptiu es planteja la recerca la qual té les hipòtesis següents: Les apreciacions soci laborals i professionals de las infermeres quirúrgiques descrites en la literatura responen al que es reflexa en els centres hospitalaris i les escoles. I les infermeres quirúrgiques necessiten uns estudis especialitzats desprès del Diplomat d'Infermeria per exercir la seva activitat segons les infermeres quirúrgiques, gestores de recursos humans, infermeres docents i metges. Es fa un estudi exhaustiu en el marc teòric de com està l'estat de la qüestió a nivell professional, soci laboral i de la formació de la infermera quirúrgica en els capítols I, II, III de la tesi; per passar desprès al marc empíric a on es treballa des d'una vessant quantitativa i una vessant qualitativa. Des de la vessant quantitativa es tria el millor instrument que es creu per aquesta recerca, un qüestionari, que es validat per deu experts i provat amb un grup control, el qual es repartit en els col·lectius següents: l'usuari, com l'element més important aquí va dirigida l'atenció d'aquests col·lectius, les infermeres quirúrgiques, les gestores de recursos humans, les docents quirúrgiques i docents medico- quirúrgiques, les metges (cirurgians, anestesiòlegs...) tots ells propers a l'acte quirúrgic. Tots ells de sis hospitals de Catalunya, que són triats en funció a la seva significació en el territori, que pertanyen a la capital de província, perquè són hospitals públics, universitaris, i dintre de la nomenclatura d'hospitals de generals i complexos. Des de la vessant qualitativa es tria el millor instrument que es creu per aquesta recerca, l'entrevista, que per la seva complexitat, sols es porta a terme en aquelles persones referents en la infermeria, i per tant expertes en el tema, com són: les directores de les setze escoles d'infermeria universitària, de les quals una d'elles és la presidenta de l'associació de les directores de les Escoles Universitàries d'Infermeria de Catalunya, les sis directores d'infermeria dels hospitals qüestionats, la presidenta del Col·legi d'Infermeria de Barcelona, que a més és la Presidenta del Consell d'Infermeria de Catalunya, la presidenta de l'Associació d'Infermeria Quirúrgica d'Espanya, i l'experta d'afers internacionals i visepresidenta de l'Associació Europea d'Infermeria Quirúrgica.Dels dos estudis s'extreuen molts resultats, que a la vegada que permeten demostrar i descriure les hipòtesis plantejades, i permeten, a la vegada, extreure unes conclusions concretes que porten a unes reflexions i conclusions generals tant important com per ex: que moltes infermeres quirúrgiques comencen el la seva activitat professional en l'àrea quirúrgica sense cap tipus d'estudi sols l'experiència, amb un risc enormement important per l'usuari i el propi professional, amb la inhibició de les institucions sanitàries i el desconeixement d'altres col·lectius; tot i això, moltes professionals davant aquesta situació, es veuen empeses a fer algun tipus de formació com és un postgrau. Per últim es descriuen els límits de la recerca, així com les línies futures d'investigació i actuacions a fer.My research is from the outset justified by combining my knowledge of two disciplines: nursing and teaching, where my many years of experience in both allow me to attest that they are complementary subjects, and that they also share many things in common, because their common objective is personal improvement. Through an inductive and descriptive methodology, the enquiry has pursued the following hypotheses: The personal and professional appraisal of the operating room nurses as outlined in the document is concerned with reflective observations from hospitals and schools. Evidently operating theatre nurses require specialist studies following their Nursing Diploma which enables them to exercise their activities as operating theatre nurses, human resources administrators, teaching nurses and doctors. A very complete analysis is made in the theoretical framework of the issue at a professional, personal and training level of the operating theatre nurse in chapters I, II and III of the thesis, moving on to the empirical framework, where a quantitative and a qualitative point of view are taken. The quantitative aspect selects the best instrument for such research, a questionnaire which is validated by ten experienced people and tested through a control group which is distributed across the following collective groups: the user, who, as the final beneficiary of these collective efforts, is the most important element; the operating theatre nurses, the human resources administrators, the operating theatre teachers and the medical operating theatre teachers (surgeons, anesthesians…), all of them closly involved in the surgical field. All those people have been selected from six Catalonian hospitals of recognised standing within the country, sited in provincial capitals, and including both public and university hospitals under the categories of general and specialist hospitals. Regarding the qualitative view, the best research instrument is the interview, which owing to its complexity, is only carried out with subjects familiar with nursing and with experience in the area, such as the directors of the sixteen university nursing schools, one of whom is the president of the association of directors of the Nursing University Schools in Catalonia, the six nursing directors of the interviewed hospitals, the president of the Nursing Professional College of Barcelona, who is also the president of the Council of Nurses of Catalonia, the president of the Operating Theatre Nurses' Association of Spain, with international experience of such matters, also being vice-president of the European Association of Operating Theatre Nurses. The body of findings from both lines of inquiry enable us to express and demonstrate the hypothesis and, at the same time, establish some specific conclusions of major importance, for example: the fact that many nurses begin their activities in the operating theatre field without any special training, relying only on experience, a factor which carries a very serious risk for the user and for the professional, a ask reglected by the health institutions and without the knowledge of other professionals in the field. However, as a result of such a situation, many of the nurses become persuaded to follow futher, post-diploma training. The conclusion defines the boundaries of the research work, sets out guidelines for future areas of investigation and recommends proceedures to implement
