Alkalmunk nyílt a védelmi funkciókat betöltő fásítások szerkezeti vizsgálatára is. | During our researches we aimed to estimate the afforestations - woody biotops - on non-forest areas, throught their conditions; and to review the forestry guidelines, to give proposals for renewal methods or utilization potentials. Besides the verification of forest-literature, in the course of field survey, we studied alleys, shelterbelts, windbreaks and their cohesive system. We reached the conclusion, that most of the examined woody biotops reached their cutting/renewal age, the replantation of stucture species is indispensable. We made structure analysis for protectional foretration types. Based on our new knowledge and data, we clarified new guidelines for planting, which would make these woody elements more effective and area-sparing. Although the value of these forestations can be explaned trought the timber-value, the additional values show much further, carriing the environmental and social worth also. Our results contributed to the enlargment of forestry-knowledge, the taught of curriculum and raised the attendance of the utilization-possibilities of woody biotop-systems

Az óvoda-iskola átmenet megkönnyítése a LÜK játékkal

Game LÜK is a kind of improving game that teaches children playfully to improve their concentration, observation and logical cogitation. Several activity books can be bought to the game board and can be applied to the work in kindergartens and schools perfectly well. I fully believe that with the help of this game the transition between the kindergarten and elementary school can be made easier. To make this transition easier, we, teachers have important roles as well. In my study I would like to introduce this game and those school preparation activity books, by which children can overcome difficulties playfully and learn without efforts

During the course of my teaching activities 1 find it important to develop a child's cogni-tive abilities in a playful manor. It's important to keep instruction dynarnic and engaging to avoid boredom from setting in. Curriculum is therefore designed to be motivational, trigger curiosity and lead the student to a successful learning experience. I chose the MiniLÜK activity books in the past acedemic year for lth and 2nd grade classes to increase their engagement, simplify instruction and to create a playful atmos-phere. The MiniLÜK Playfamily is the most recognized in the MiniLÜK System. The as-signment requires the children to match 12 different squares to a corresponding mátrix. If the problems are solved correctly a color pattern results on the back of the squares which the child can use to check if they have completed the exercise correctly. The MiniLÜK activity system allows children to solve problems independently, together in small groups (based on instructions recieved from their instructor) and the system can alsó be used to assist students who need additonal preactice to master certain concepts. My study shows how the various MiniLÜK exerecises can be used for mathematics and language instruction, how it enforces the development of these skill sets.During the course of my teaching activities 1 find it important to develop a child's cogni-tive abilities in a playful manor. Geothermal water having low temperatures areknown to have many opprotunities of usage. Out of thesegeothermnal sources with temperatures higher than 300ºC, one of the most important usage is that of producingelectric power. On the University of Oradea, there is a tradition ofproducing electric power out of low temperaturegeothermal energy. We would like to mention, that untilnow we have used more appliances like this, having apower of 100 kW and 1 MW. These technical solutionswere patented. In Switzerland, Genoa we have received agolden medal

Influence of Variation of Cutting Speed on Wear, Cutting Forces and Tool Temperature during Performance Drilling

The paper presents the results and the influence a single factor has in the drilling process. The research is focused on how modifying the cutting speed influences parameters like cutting forces, cutting temperature, tool life, wear mechanism, and chip formation. For this experiment three different cutting speeds have been tested on high-speed adapted twisted drill geometry, each of them corresponding to a certain cutting domain: 200 m/min, 165 m/min and 110 m/min. The temperature, predicted with finite element simulation (FEM), forces, wear evolution and the shape of chips have been analysed in order to prove if high speed adapted drill geometry can be used instead of an ordinary drill while performing at lower speeds. The tests certified the ability of a drill designed for high speed to process in conditions associated with lower cutting speeds, behaving similarly in all the cases

Epidemiology of Diabetic Foot Ulcers and Amputations in Romania: Results of a Cross-Sectional Quality of Life Questionnaire Based Survey

    Get PDF
This is a post hoc analysis of quality of life in diabetic neuropathy patients in a cross-sectional survey performed in 2012 in Romania, using the Norfolk QOL-DN in which 21,756 patients with self-reported diabetes were enrolled. This current analysis aims to expand research on the diabetic foot and to provide an update on the number of foot ulcers found in Romania. Of the 21,174 patients included in this analysis, 14.85% reported a history of foot ulcers and 3.60% reported an amputation. The percentage of neuropathy patients with foot ulcers increased with age; the lowest percentage was observed in the 20-29-year age group (6.62%) and the highest in the 80-89-year age group (17.68%). The highest number of amputations was reported in the 70-79-year age group (largest group). Compared to patients without foot ulcers, those with foot ulcers had significantly higher scores for total DN and all its subdomains translating to worse QOL ( < 0.001). This analysis showed a high rate of foot ulcers and amputations in Romanian diabetic patients. It underscores the need for implementation of effective screening and educational programs
